It was good enough considering the large cast of children with the adult cast not getting in the way too much and giving them the right support. Overall it was an entertaining futuristic fantasy film.

defense lawyer breaks bad

This is an example of a movie not having an identity for a particular genre. It is a drama, an action movie and a crime thriller or none of the above. That can confuse the average movie-goer unless it is just superb in all those categories, which this is not.

story of a legendary Formula 1 Racing rivalry

This is not only an excellent story of a true life racing rivalry, it is the story of a film director coming full circle from a low budget 70's "Grand Theft Auto" to this wonderfully photographed modern big budget action bio pic perfect for the ages.

What's not so great: should have been longer to tell more

47 samurai seek vengeance against a warlord

The set design, special effects and story line approximate to original story were a plus. It became rather slow in parts for an action/adventure/mythology tale, but, fortunately, doesn't need to rely on Keanu Reeves' acting talent to save it.

What's not so great: story drags a bit

sequel to much better Anchorman story

It has the problem many sequels have in that it doesn't come close to equaling the first one, but in this case it that would be an improvement. If you can get through the first half hour you only have a slow paced, forced comedy plotting until the let down at the end.

After about a million comic books, cartoons, movies and TV shows everyone knows the story. You would think they could make a version of Superman that wasn't another average origins story or a continuation of the previous films from an obsessive stalker point of view.
