Daylight images are sharp and clear with lifelike color. DVR playback is smooth and continuous for a selected time period. However, nighttime video is poor. Two cameras' afterdark videos are out of focus, blurry, regardless of ambient light arrangements. Three cameras have what appear to be dust particles that cannot be wiped off the surface of their lenses, but are only visible after dark. The system is excellent for daylight applications, but unsatisfactory for after dark use. Exchanged and replaced the system, but the replacement has the same problems. Lorex tech support tried, but could not provide a fix. Thinking of returning this system for a refund.

Intuitive setup, quiet operation, superb results

4K disc and 3D Blu-ray upscaling are fantastic, truly amazing sharpness with deep colors. Used with a LG 55UH8500 Smart TV. LG's SimpLink was straightforward and intuitive to link to the player and TV, enabling both remote controls to operate the player and TV. Used an audio optical cable to connect the player to my decades old (way ahead of its time) JVC RX9000V 5.1 surround sound system. Had to disable the player's auto-HDMI cable selector output, so that sound played only via the optical cable connection. Initially, left the player's default settings, which resulted in out-of-sync audio via the TV speakers. Had delayed buying this unit after reading several reviews complaining of loud mechanical noise when playing 4K discs. Yesterday, decided to go for it, anyway. So far, 4K and 3D Blu-ray discs have not caused the player to make any mechanical noise.

Characters reacted realistically to their zombie apocalypse situation. The movie's scientific explanation behind the zombie pandemic seemed remotely plausible. The doctor's ethic justifying "painlessly" dissecting 'live' child zombie experimental subjects in hopes of finding a vaccine for humans was thought provoking. Only criticism was the illustration on the disc case depicted a couple helicopters in flight, but we never saw any aircraft in flight during the movie.

This Garmin nüvi 2589LMT 010-01187-01 GPS features automatic rerouting that offers a new travel course in the event of a deviation from directions given. The voice prompts provide guidance while you keep your eyes on the road for safe navigation.

Bright display with natural voice directions

Been very satisfied with several Garmin GPS models over the years. This one is my latest, it speaks natural sounding English directions; off-ramp illustrations are clear and precise; it does an excellent job of understanding my voice commands; it nearly instantly revises my route when I deviate from its initial given route. The display is sharp and bright. On one occasion it directed me off the highway to use a side road for a couple miles, which I could readily see was not an efficient route and ignored. Had hoped to be able to pair it with my 2016 Jeep Cherokee media center using Bluetooth, but it was not compatible.

Effective 3D CG brought me into their world. Interesting history of the evil villain little yellow followers gang. Good amount of intelligent humor to entertain both young and young at heart.

Immersive 3D CG and practical effects made the fantasy real. Been a Peter Pan fan since age of 6 when Disney's Peter Pan was released. Pan's WWII London setting made for some fun imaginative encounters between flying sailing ships and RAF fighter planes. This prequel to Peter Pan provided a logical back story. The discs included interesting featurettes about the making of the movie.

Could Not Remove Pre-installed Suspected Malware

Bought my DL701Q, Sunday. It was my first tablet. The display looked excellent and web page images looked fine. However, aftermarket McAfee and Webroot security apps warned that the pre-installed AccuWeather app was a dangerous Trojan malware with the potential to steal personal information and take control of the tablet. Sent 2 emails to Service@digi-land.net (DigiLand tech support) about this issue, but got no replies. Tried calling 1-866-618-7888 (DigiLand Customer Service Center in USA), but the automated attendant connected my call to a full voicemail system that could not accept anymore messages. Will try calling a couple more times. If unable to resolve the Trojan malware threat issue, will return the tablet for a refund, Saturday.
Neither McAfee or Webroot could remove the suspected malware AccuWeather app.
Tried AccuWeather.com support and got the following reply:
"The application you are using was developed by a 3rd party manufacturer. AccuWeather only supplies the weather data and cannot support the application itself. The manufacturer is responsible for databasing, displaying, and formatting this data and can address any concerns you may have. If they believe that we can be of assistance with their issue, they will contact us."

Last night watched this Australian sc-fi time travel flick. The basic plot about time travel cops sounds a bit old, but this one is different. I rated it 5 out 5 stars, because I liked its slightly quirky take on the worn out old sci-fi subject, good amount of action, imaginative good quality low budget special effects and engaging story.

Can't get over the improved performance of my ole HP Pavilion m9040n PC after installing the SSD and associated software. Adding the unit to the crowded interior of that PC was difficult and frustrating. A 6-inch 4-Pin Molex to SATA Power Cable Adapter was needed to connect the power cable. Needed to jury-rig the mounting bracket inside the available HD slot. Accessing the SATA connector on the motherboard required disconnecting a few other devices' connectors to reach through the wire jumble to make a secure connection. Once physically installed and connected, the software download and installation was a breeze. The SSD functioned flawlessly.

What's great about it: Great price, dramatic improvement in PC performance
What's not so great: HP Pavilion m9040n installation was frustrating

Item returned and replaced with Defender WHD1T4B4

As a replacement, purchased Defender Wireless HD 1080p (WHD1T4B4), which is very similar, but functions flawlessly, day and night. DVRs for both systems are very similar and intuitive to use. Fortunately, Defender cameras provide excellent video in both daylight and after dark.

in bluetooth mode will this unit speak through car radio? if so will it interfere with my phone bluetooth?
Using Bluetooth, it was not compatible with my 2016 Jeep Cherokee Uconnect 8.4A media center, so it could not speak through my car's sound system.
