Great movie, even better 4K HDR presentation. One of the best 4K disc available thus far and the Dolby Atmos mix is very good as well. Home theater enthusiast unite for this one.
From writer/director Mike Judge comes the HBO series Silicon Valley. This Blu-ray set contains the entire first season, detailing the comedic trials and tribulations of six men and their tech startup company in California's most innovative landscape.
Every season has peaked and up the ante but for some reason this season took a slowed approach with little stakes. A good season but not its strongest yet.

The game has a great battle system but the story is minimal and can be a chore to with its quest system and doomsday clock system. It can be a frustrating experience.
Director Steven Soderbergh (Traffic) directs this critically acclaimed period medical drama about Dr. John Thackery (Clive Owen), opium addict and gifted surgeon in resident at New York's notorious Knickerbocker Hospital, and his bloody exploits with his assistant Dr. Algernon Edwards (Andre Holland). This complete collection of the first season's episodes include "Method and Madness," "Mr. Paris Shoes," "The Busy Flea," "Where's the Dignity," and more.
An interesting show about the beginnings of modern medicine. The show is raw in its portrayal of surgery innovations and the lack of regulation at the time. It is an interesting watch. Get this on blu-ray the picture and sound is much better.
Season 2 of this involving crime drama continues to chronicle the exploits of an ex-con who assumes the identity of a lawman named Lucas Hood (Antony Starr) in the small, out-of-the-way Pennsylvania town of Banshee. The season kicks off with the arrival of an FBI special agent (Zeljko Ivanek) who opens an investigation into the vicious shootout between Hood and New York mob czar Rabbit (Ben Cross), whom the "lawman" once double-crossed, and metes out his own brand of justice. Hood's former partner-on-crime, Carrie ( Ivana Milicevic), tries to patch up things with husband, Gordon (Rus Blackwell), and daughter, Deva (Ryann Shane ), but is spurned. Meanwhile, a horrific murder triggers problems between the Amish community and the Kinaho tribe, and during the investigation, Lucas and his deputies confront an unruly gang of Kinaho bikers. Local crime kingpin Proctor (Ulrich Thomsen) takes matters into his own hands and delivers a peace offering to the Kinaho in hopes of cooling off the hostilities between the two groups. In the Season 2 finale, Lucas and Carrie head to New York, where they prep for a final showdown with Rabbit.
Based on the adaptation of a BBC miniseries of the same name, House of Cards is set in Washington, D.C., where democrat Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) serves as the House Majority Whip and represents South Carolina's 5th congressional district. When he is not appointed as Secretary of State as expected, Underwood vows to exact revenge upon those whom he feels betrayed him. Robin Wright, Kate Mara, and Corey Stoll also star. House of Cards earned nine nominations for original online only web television for the 65th Primetime Emmy Awards in 2013.
A great TV series backed by great acting. The series does dip into soapy areas however, but it is overall a good political thriller/drama. The bluray is the one to get.
