It's hard to review a memory card and not give it simply a bad or good grade. The memory card works. Saves stuff onto it like it should. The problem is that Sony created this proprietary card which is more expensive than any other kind of it's size. The other downfall...it's really tiny. Like, pinky nail tiny. Do not like it.
And my recommending it is simply because you need one to save anything on a Vita. No other memory cards work.

What's great about it: It works
What's not so great: Small, Expensive

I am not a Tomb Raider fan, that is until this game. This game was amazing although the storytelling gets a little over the top near the end, and the multiplayer feels tacked on. The name of the game is Tomb Raider, but the tombs are mostly optional and only have one central puzzle making them somewhat disappointing.
Overall, much better than I expected and one of the best games so far this year.
My Best Buy number: 0555982240
What's great about it: Beautiful game, storytelling, controls
What's not so great: Multiplayer is meh, easy at times, bad tombs

I'm not a fan of including my credit card on most sites. Fortunately, the PSN card helps this as I can purchase it without needing to include my CC info to do so.
Just quick and easy to add funds to my account, and is my preferred method to add money to my PSN wallet.

Feeling the Steel

This cd is wrong in about every way. It's a throwback to the glam metal hair bands of the 80's. The music is familiar and the looks should be embarrassing. They sing a lot about women, groupies, and ***. But here's where it's slightly different.
It's nasty, vulgar, profane, and as sick as you could possibly believe. Instead of regular hot women being sung about, they sing about fat women or an ugly Oklahoma City groupie performing dirty acts to the lead singer. Put your mind in the gutter and just imagine the lyrics that would be sung in songs like "The Shocker" and "Asian ******". Definately keep the kids away from this, otherwise their minds will be polluted with these immature and poorly thought out lyrics. None of which I could put down without getting reported for bad language.
Now, don't think this is bad. The music is amazingly good and the singer has some pipes on him. This is a PARODY! Do not take it seriously. It's supposed to be a bad knock-off of the 80's but spun in a way that's supposed to be humorous and over-the-top. And this band succeeds in this. If you can just get your mind around the fact that it's purely for fun and not supposed to be the next Van Halen, you should be just fine.
If this band is not huge in the next 5 years, they will probably not be together. They will hit it big, it's just a matter of time...
What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: Seriousness that some listeners may have

I don't know what everyone says about the easiness of putting the keypad into the controller, cause I've had a difficult time. I never seem to get it in easily, even though the keypad part clicks on the handle part of the controller, it just doesn't click into the headphone plug.
Other than that, it's a great thing. You get a headset with it, and for $10 more it's a great price. Especially since it's a pain to try and type out a message without it. It still has a plug in for the headset on the bottom of the keypad so it doesn't eliminate the option to still communicate over the headset with it (so you don't have to take it off whenever you play online).
What's great about it: Easier to text, headset, price
What's not so great: Difficulty of putting into controller

AWESOME GAME

Since this game has yet to arrive on the DS, I will base it off the SNES version which is supposedly almost exactly the same. One of my top games. This game was fun and massive. You have a wide variety of characters to play with, and they each come with their own special moves not only for each other, but with whomever you're battling with as well. The animation is great, especially for when this game was made. The story is long and elaborate with one of the most frustrating bosses you can fight. However the characters are cool, and who you use to fight the boss gives you different endings, so you'll want to finish this more than once. With the DS version, there are supposed to be a few more dungeons to play on to make this game that much longer. I am looking forward to this game, and you should too. One of the best RPG games I've ever played.
What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: That it took this long to make it on the DS

Steve Oedekerk's martial arts comedy Kung Pow: Enter the Fist comes to DVD with a widescreen transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. English and French soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1, while a Spanish soundtrack has been recorded in Dolby Digital Surround. English and Spanish subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include a commentary track recorded by the director, alternate scenes and deleted scenes, a making-of featurette, trailers, and promotional spots. Although the film was a box-office dud, this is a solid disc from 20th Century Fox.

The comedy in this film is definately an aquired taste. I found this movie to be hilarious the first time I saw it, but after that it slowly became less funny. My girlfriend on the other hand, thought it was possibly the stupidest movie she's ever seen. The story focuses on "the chosen one" who escaped from being murdered as a baby, then grew up to find revenge on the person who tried to kill him. Why is he "the chosen one"? Because he has tonguey. Don't ask....So in this film you have aliens, a villain named Betty, a kung foo cow, a woman with one breast, and a man who's sole purpose in the movie is to follow around the villain and put on music when he fights. It's worth a view, but you might want to see it first to decide whether or not it's something you'll find good enough to own.
What's great about it: Humor, making everything look like it was in original film
What's not so great: Gets unfunny after too many views

John McTiernan's box-office dud The Last Action Hero comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 2.35:1. English, Spanish, and French soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1, while a second English soundtrack has been recorded in Dolby Digital Surround. Spanish and Korean subtitles are accessible, and the English 5.1 track is closed-captioned. There are no special features, but the inexpensive list price, coupled with the superb sound and visual quality, may help this film find the audience that turned it down in theaters.

Big Mistake

One of my most favorite movies. It's such a jab at Hollywood and it comes off so great. You have a kid (who I can't stand) who gets transported into a movie with his favorite fictional character. However, in the movie, everything is real and they don't know it. So the kid tries his best to show them that it's just a movie. You have a cartoon cat who everyone thinks is just normal, movies Arnold was in is now by Stallone, the cop from T2 walking into the police precinct, just so many small things that make the movie so enjoyable. The villain, played by Dance, is one of my favorite villains. His remarks at people leave me cracking up, and the best thing is when he's in the real world and he shoots someone. HIL-AR-I-OUS. This movie is enjoyable on many levels, both action and humor, and should definately be seen by everyone.
What's great about it: Arnold, One liners, Action, villain
What's not so great: No extras, Kid is annoying

Everyone's friendly neighborhood Spider-Man swoops to DVD in this widescreen special edition of the highly energized sequel from 20th Century Fox. With exquisite extras and spectacular picture and sound, this two-disc is a worthy buy for just about everyone. First off is the technical angle, in which this disc truly shines. Presented in its original 2.35:1 aspect ratio, the image is full of brilliant hues and fine details that are sure to bring your superhero dreams to life as you watch it. Additionally, the 5.1 Dolby Digital sound is an absorbing home-theater experience that's been meticulously created for this disc, and it does not disappoint. On the extras front, the fun starts with two different commentaries that are packed with anecdotes and stories from the production. The first track includes two separate recording sessions -- one from director Sam Raimi and Spidey himself, Tobey Maguire, and the other with Marvel producer-extraordinaire Avi Arad and co-producer Grant Curtis. This track is full of fun banter between the director and star, while the other two give good detail on the hows and whys of the moviemaking process. For more in-depth tech-talk, check out the technical commentary, headed by a few other sliced-together sessions that include effects-maestros John Dykstra and Steve Johnson, among others. The track is especially insightful when you begin to realize just how many of the effects were split between practical mechanical effects and CGI. Also included on the first disc is a blooper reel, a music video by Train, movie previews, web featurettes from the film's website, and a "Spidey Sense 2" trivia track that is stuffed with enough facts on the comic and the movie that it's almost overwhelming. Disc two contains the bulk of the extras, starting with the "Making the Amazing" 12-part documentary. This whopping two-hour making-of is one of the best in-depth and entertaining looks at a film that has graced the DVD world. After a bit of your usual PR-type talk in the beginning about the first film, this feature then dives head first into all of the separate departments as they pieced the movie together; this is highly recommended viewing for anyone who enjoys this type of stuff. Three featurettes can also be found on this second disc, all of which hold up the same quality as well. The highlight of the three would have to be the "Ock-Umentary" 20-minute special, which takes the viewer step-by-step through how the filmmakers were able to bring Doc Ock to life, from the pre-production process through the on-set puppeteering that set the stage for all of the CGI polishes later on. Other bonus features on the disc include a multi-angle feature that delves into a few effects-heavy sequences in the film, with other areas dedicated to Activision's exceptional Spider-Man 2 video game. Finally, comic artist Alex Ross has been given a gallery all his own that showcases his stunning paintings featured in the opening credit sequence. Also available in fullscreen, Superbit, and a Collector's DVD Gift Set, this release is a fantastic buy and a perfect gift for any fan of the film. In perfect double-dip fashion, Sony has plans to release a Spider-Man 2.5 as well, featuring extended sequences created solely for the DVD under Raimi's supervision. Until that comes out, there's plenty to love on this release, so don't be afraid to wait for the second release -- unless you like to torture yourself and miss out on a whole lot of great stuff.

I'm one of the few to say this, but this movie is unbelievably overhyped. This movie has poor characterizations (mainly Doc Oc) and you still have people like Dunst who can't pull an easy Mary Jane role off to save her life. McGuire, like the first and last film, is so incredibly boring he makes you want to turn off the film. The action scenes are great in the film, and the way Raimi had made the film looked made it so much better. There's plenty of plot holes (arms move by themselves when Oc is unconscious, but will be affected if he's hit with a cane???), and the idea of Spiderman pretty much showing his face to half the people in this film are irritating. It's a decent movie, not as good as the first, but not as horrible as the third. Just know there's a lot more wrong with this film than most people will say it does.
What's great about it: Action, look of film
What's not so great: Characterizations, plot holes, reveal

This release of American History X is a testament to the fact that New Line devotes most of its time and efforts to its "platinum series," and while that particular line of releases is among the best to be found, it's an unfortunate side effect that other deserving films such as this one get neglected in the process. Subject matter so volatile and controversial could easily justify an entire second disc's worth of bonus material, yet the only supplements present here are a few deleted scenes (only one of which is truly worthwhile), the theatrical trailer, and cast and crew biographies. What is lacking in the extras department, however, is made up for in the quality of the video presentation. This is the widescreen version of the film, presented in its original theatrical aspect ratio of 2.35:1, and although it hasn't been enhanced anamorphically, it's a beautiful transfer nevertheless. Interestingly, the film is shot on both black-and-white and color film stock, which is difficult to balance properly under any circumstances, but here the two styles are mixed perfectly: the colors are bright, vibrant, and sharply defined, while the black-and-white sections are beautifully shot, with deep, dark, grainless blacks. The quality does justice to the cinematography of Tony Kaye, who also directs. The disc's audio presentation isn't overwhelming due to the generally subdued tone of the film, but the digital 5.1 mix is very nicely balanced, making good use of the center channel to cleanly convey the dialogue while relegating the ambient sounds to the rear channels. Overall, this is another instance where a special edition release is probable at some point in the future, but until that time comes, this disc is a more than adequate presentation of an important, powerful film.

Seriously, one of the best movies I've ever seen. The realism behind this movie is so great, it's sad that stuff like this actually does happen. There's so many strong moments in this movie, and seeing the evolution of Norton's character is mindblowing. The themes and prejudices in this are awesome and leaves the watcher in disbelief at how their portrayed. Simply a remarkable film, and it's hard to say much of anything without giving anything away. But there are scenes from this movie you will not forget.
