Very Good Music.

This is for the oldschool family. I truly believe in good music, with good writing. This CD has both. If you want to sit back and hear how singing should be, this is the CD for you. We need to remember how a lot of artist got started. This is one of the groups, that influenced a lot of singers. These fellows can really blow. It is amazing how they stay in tune with their own sound. Young kids should listen to what they are singing about. I think it would help their train of thought. Don't get it twisted I love hip-hop with a passion. Hip-hop has to be very positve in my book,and there are only a few artist left. Nothing can replace the good ole sound of true oldschool.I'm a true lover of oldschool, and this Cd is one of my favorites. I have tons of oldschool music because in the world we live today,you want to have love and peace. The Stylistics sing about hurt and pain,but also can get real groovy. Everyone shoud have this CD. Period!!!!! Peace-Out..... Roody

What's not so great: Some young folks might not fell this,but they should.

No Fear In Nas.

I have never been a Nas fan,but I have always liked good lyrics. I do not have anything against Nas. I think he is at the top of his game.Nas came about in later years. See I am from the oldschool.I grew up with Spoonie G.,Krs-One,Boogie Down Productions,Sugarhill Gang,Grandmaster Flash & The Furious 5,Dr. Jeckel & Mr. Hyde,Jimmy Spicer,Trech-3,Kurtis Blow,Funky-4 Plus1,Run-Dmc,Whoudini, I can go on and on,but this is about Nas. I have some of Nas's music.Hip-hop is dead,is good,but this new cd is serious. Nas is not afraid 2 speak his mind,which is a good thing because this cd has some very good issues.If you like true hip-hop, this is it. This cd reminds me of something Krs-One would appreciate. After all Krs-One is still the king.I would advise all hip-hop fans to get this cd.You will not want to hear anymore nonsense,when you listen to this cd.All hip-hop artist should have this cd. Peace & Love Always, Roody-Roo.
What's great about it: Strong lyrical Content.
What's not so great: Not Your Regular Hip-Hop.

Any fan of Ms. Hyman, would love this cd. Her voice will always be a part of my music collection. She will make you fill her own soul along with her beautiful voice. I have been a Hyman fan since back in the day. This cd is very good because it tells you a story in a sweet musical way. All her cds are good, but this 1 makes you fillher words. I would recommend any Hyman cd, but this 1 is very very special. All lady singers of today,probably were influenced by songs from this cd. Do not sleep on this cd because you will miss out on 1of the sweetest voices ever.
