If you like pure funk, this is what you need to have. Mr. Tisdale has delivered some good sound on this one. As a matter of fact, his band, along with himself, are totally amazing. Even if you don't come from the funk era, you will appreciated the sound, writing, production, composing, etc...... This is a must have for the music listener. I'm strictly old school, when it comes to music, but I am very pleased with this piece of work. Coming from Wayman....this album is something special and I have a good bit of his music. This piece is not like anything, that you think he would deliver. He truly came with the real deal truth on this one. This album will go down in history, once folks catch on!! A must have.....period!!! Peace and Love Always........1!!!!!!
What's great about it: The way they all come together as one.....AWSOME!!!
What's not so great: NOTHING!!!!! Good piece of work!!

This album is very nice for her solo debut. I like it a lot. I am more of a old school listener, (mid 60's to early 90's) but this album is truly nice. I am not surprised because she always had good words and writing. I love to read poetry, so this album is extra special. This is good traveling music or just sit back and chill. Either way you get down with it is good. Peace and love always............."ROOSTER"
What's great about it: Good words and music!!!
What's not so great: The good out weighs the bad.

I do not care 4 the profanity, which is not that bad, but it does not take away from the album. If you are a Dream fan, you will like this album. Go get it and quit playing!!!!!!! Truly A Oldschool Collector!!!!!!

Here we go again!!!!!!! You already know what it is!!!! If you cannot deal with oldschool music, do not even waste your time wondering about this CD. Mr. Winter was confined to a wheelchair as he worked on this album. You would not know this because he gives you a good feeling for living, through his music. Ofcourse my all time favorite on this album is MAGIC MAN, but he has more to offer. If you read my other reviews, you will get an idea of what to expect. I'm oldschool first because they do not make music like this anymore. As quiet as it is kept, I'm 90%oldschool music. I think young and old should listen to this album. Alot of people do not know about this album. It is one of kind. Check it out and check my other reviews. Peace N Love Always...............Roody-Roo...............I'm Gone!!!!!

Great triumph through disaster

I thought the movie was pretty good. I prefer true stories over any movie. It made me understand even more that what you have today can be gone today. It should make you humble and thank the CREATOR for what you have and what you are able to do. I went through a small disaster, so I can understand this movie very well. If you like basketball, you will love this movie. If you do not like basketball you will appreciate this movie. I'm from the oldschool. You learn to make do with what you got and do not worry about what you do not have. You cannot miss what you never had. This movie is good because it is a true story of strength,courage,will,determination,etc. The Hurricane Season is good for all viewers who can try and understand what took place in New Orleans. The real story takes place a few days before the hurricane hits. You can imagine what happens next. Good movie..... you should check it !!!!!!!!!!!!! Peace N Love Always........................ You already know what it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah it's me oldschool Roody. This cd is very creative. I believe this youngman will go far in the music industry. I'm oldschool all the way, but this dude has won my vote. This cd may be the best yet, as far as the new artist up and coming. He created something special when he made this cd. WORD IS BOND!!!!!!!! If you know music like I do, go head and get this joint. This is a cold piece. In other words, it is a must have. It may have to grow on you,but you will be hooked. I don't like alot of nonsense in hip-hop. I hope this is not a 1n out because Cudi is all of it. Go buy it right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's me again!!!!!!!!!!! You already know what it is!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok, the cd is good and I would recommend this cd. However, this cd is not long enough. It has a good sound, but it may have to grow on you. If you are a true Maxwell fan, you will be fine. I am not a real fan,but this cd is special. I am a Prince fan and Max reminds me of Prince on some songs. Stop The World will put you in that mellow zone. It is a true hit. You will feel this cd for sure. I am a music critic from the oldschool and I will tell you if something is garbage. I listen to a lot of true oldschool and this cd takes me back. There could have been more songs,but it still is pretty good for as long as he was away from the music. All Max fans should have this cd at this very moment. Peace N Love Always...................... Roody-Roo!!!!!!!!!!!! Get ThIs Piece ASAP Gone................... !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She Is very gifted. I love violin players. Noel Pointer,Jean Luc-Ponty,The guy from the Dave Matthews Band, she is right there with them. Miri brings the whole package. U already know what it is!!!! U know i'm oldschool from previous reveiws. This is a must CD 4 the old N new. If you truly love hip-hop, U must own this CD while it is still around. I'm waiting 4 her new hip-hop CD. She has other Cds,but only 1 hip-hop thus far. She is very incredible, with her talent. The true music lovers need 2 check her out.

I think every person N the world should listen 2 it. Overall U need 2 get this CD........ 4 Real 4 Real !!!!!!!! Do not Sleep on this because U will Miss out on a New Era of Reality N Realness !!!

As I said before, I am from the old school generation of hip-hop.(Spoonie G,Boogie Down Productions,Kurtis Blow,Funky-4 Plus 1,Run-Dmc,Ultramagnatic,Grandmaster&The Furious 5,GrandPuba,Slick Rick,Utfo,Afrika Bambata,LLCoolJ,Dr.Jeck&Mr.Hyde,EricB&Rakim,MC Lyte,Salt&Peppa,Public Enemy,Tribe Called Quest.... etc...... I can go on&on.) Common has become a true Hip-hop icon. He ranks with the best of them. I am more into words that help U get through the struggle.Words that help U 2stay strong. a lot of artist do not have that. Common always did. This CD is a change from his previous,but it can still put U where u need 2 BN hip-hop. A good buy 4 the true hip-hoppers,not rappers!!! Peace N Love Always....... Roody-roo.
