This is a very nice system. I like that it is different from the Keurig in that you use all the water in the system and it doesn't sit in the reservoir for days. It does take some time to figure out the amount of coffee to use as the chart is not very accurate. My wife likes her coffee strong but the chart made it to strong for her. All in all a very nice system. The carafe that comes with it keeps the coffee warm for quite a while and there is nothing better than using real ground beans.

I have an ecobee 4 thermostat and an Amazon Echo. They all connect and work together nicely but the switch is missing something I had really hoped it would have. It does not allow you to set a specific time for it to come on..I put the switch in a hallway at the base of the stairs. The setup was very easy but then I have installed similar switches before. The location prevents the light from coming on until you reach the bottom of the stairs. My wife gets up very early and it would be nice to have a scheduled time for this to come on before she leaves for work. Hopefully there will be an update

The color and sound on this Sony mode is somewhat better than my Samsung 8500. The apps on the hand are much worse. There is very little selection. Hook up through my surround sound system was very easy and setup was a breeze.

The sound quality of these headphones isn't as good as I expected. That being said they aren't the worst I've had and though I hate to say it because I genuinely love JBL sound I think the Beats Powebeats 2/3 wireless are better. One thing that I do like is the multiple sizes (but of course they're hard to get off and on).

I got this system because of issues with the layout of my home and the dead spots it creates. I currently run more than 30 devices on my wireless home network and this handles it all well. I tested it streaming a 4k movie on one tv, a 1080p on another, my son playing xbox and my wife surfing the net. It handled it all with no lag on the videos and no issues with the gaming or surfing the net. The setup was very easy but the instructions could be a little more informative. I left my old Linksys router connected while I setup the new. The setup guide said download the app was all you needed, except you had to connect to the new wireless system first then run the application. Once that was done the system was recognized and you can start setup. Would have been easy to figure this out if I hadn't already had a Linksys router setup in the app. From then on the setup was as the instructions said, very simple. Connect to the first node and then nothing but hitting next until completed. The app has slightly less available for configuration then my other Linksys router. For instance it says you can setup your connection mode (mixed, 2.4 GHZ, or 5 GHZ) but mixed mode is all that is available. The theory seems to be make it as simple as possible but I would like to see options for a more advanced user. In the end it does the most important thing I wanted it for. It covers the whole house and eliminated the dead zone issues I was having.

The Sony Xb70bt is a comfortable setup. The part that goes around your neck is flexible and fits well as do the earbuds. I use it for low impact workouts and running and have no issues with it staying connected to my phone and iPod nano

Very crisp display

The HD display is very crisp and sharp and 2/3rds of the screen is ultra thin. It took me a few minutes to realize the screen does rotate up and down. I thought it was stationary because of the way the stand connects to the monitor. The only downside to this monitor is your connection options. You have a VGA connection (the old blue 9 pin connector) or HDMI. There is no DVI connection so if you need to connect it to a PC that has DVI you will need to buy an adapter.

Nice as a work horse PC for the generic user

Start with this is not a PC for a power user. It is marketed towards the general user who will never open the PC to upgrade it and only look to use it for office use. The core I3 chip and 8 GB of Ram will be fine for the user who only looks to browse the internet or work with Microsoft office applications. The big plus for me is the look. It's nice to see a small form factor PC that can sit on your desktop without looking like an ugly rectangular box. It has plenty of ports and a nice addition of a SD slot which is good for people like me who like to download pictures. The cons for me are that it does not have, at the least, a DVD player and you would need to purchase an external one. It is understandable that HP did this because they wanted to keep this as a small form factor PC and the shape doesn't really allow adding one in. The other cons is the power button on the back. I found that very inconvenient to turn the system on. HP touts the speaker system and the surround sound of it. I found that it worked well listening to Pandora but when I used it to watch a movie on Vudu I could hear the sounds of the hard drive and cooling system during pauses in talking on the film. It took away from the quality of the movies I watch. All in all I would recommend this more as an office PC for users who have no need to upgrade the PC and generally buy a PC as a workhorse to do their on-line finances, documents, and spreadsheets. The new look makes it fit in nice on top of a desk where you used to hate to see your PC sitting. All and all it is an adequate PC for probably 70% of the people who buy a PC in this price range.

I'm not much of a Bose fan but these are really nice. The neck piece is a soft rubber coating and is very comfortable around the neck. The ear pieces fit nicely in the ear and stay in place while I was doing carpentry work around the house.I really like the noise cancellation. Even without the music it does a real good job of elimination most background noise. The only odd thing, but something I liked, is when you turn the noise cancellation all the way down it seems to increase the sounds around you. For an older person who is getting a little hard of hearing I liked that little extra amplification.

I hooked this up and am very impressed. First it looks and feels like a high quality piece of equipment. The features are really nice if you have a car like mine that only has the basics. I stream Pandora and XM radio from my phone through it and into the car radio. I use the auxiliary jack to connect to the radio. I tried the fm radio wireless connection but I didn't feel the sound quality was as good as using the Aux cable. The navigation is very nice and works like the expensive in car systems. The radio keeps playing but lowers when the voice announces the turns. I tested the phone calling and phone messaging and it worked perfectly. The only downside is convincing my wife I need the wireless camera, The tire pressure readers and the ODB device so I can use the diagnostic tools. I have used the camera but haven't had a chance to test the collision assistance. All and all I think this is a high quality and useful tool.

Had an issue with the headphones
October 19, 2016
I had an issue with the headphones where the green LED light would not go off. The headphones appeared to turn off as you could tell the noise cancelation was off and the music stopped playing but the light stayed on. This was causing the battery to drain as no matter what I did it would not go off. Eventually the battery completely drained and I tried charging them again but the light still would not go off. I called the Bose support number and talked to someone who immediately and without question set me up to have a new pair sent out. I was extremely impressed with the customer service. I just received the new pair today and will be checking them out this week. Thank you Bose for awesome customer service.
