Perfect for wireless access to security system mon

I tested this with my tv and the hdmi and it worked great but the real reason I wanted this was to be able to wirelessly connect a monitor to my security camera system. I had purchased a different brand that was horrible and couldn't maintain a connection at 10 feet with no obstructions (even though it was rated at 150ft). This J5create system is setup at about 50 ft and has not caused me any issues. I have 1080p cameras and the picture quality is outstanding, especially the night mode on the cameras. Setup was simple, just make sure you don't switch the transmitter and receiver. They are clearly marked. Once you turn them on they connect in about a minute. Now I can have the monitor anywhere in the house instead of where my security system box is.

I got this to see if I could use it to connect my phone to a tv to watch my vudu, fios and Netflix while away or on vacation. It worked very well, the picture is very clear and crisp. The pass thru charging was not adequate for my phone as it gave a message that there wasn't enough power to keep my phone charged. This is a phone issue as my laptop had no problem charging while connected (this is also a common issue I've had with my phone brand).. I wanted something that I could use at hotels while on vacation without having to have something as bulky as a laptop all the time. This worked well either way I connected it, phone or laptop

I was using another wireless mouse and was having issues with it always stopping working. Changing the battery was of little help so I got this mouse. I found that the issue was much improved but not completely gone. After working with this mouse I found there were areas on my desk where the mouse would stop working . With the old mouse it was less obvious because it would stop working almost everywhere. I keep my PC under my desk so I found there were certain dead spots that were "out of Range" when the Bluetooth had to go through the desk. Once I got a USB extender and put the receiver on my desk the issues went away. I would say the range of 10 meter (6Ft) is not strong enough for a PC on the floor. Other than that I put the mouse through it's paces and it is really nice. I have been working a project that requires scrolling through hundreds of thousands of lines in several Excel spreadsheets (file permissions spreadsheets) the scroll is smooth as I have to scroll quickly though looking at changes in data. The look, feel and motion is about the same as every other mouse. If I had to ask for one change it would be a stronger Bluetooth signal but this is not just an experience with this mouse it has happened with others.

To start with this is obviously not a top of the line CD player, most of the functionality is pretty basic. The construction is a basic plastic and the headphones are pretty basic with no volume control. The bass adjustment was a little to overbearing for me through the headphones but I don't listen to a lot of music with strong bass. The only real disappointment was that it can run off an electrical outlet but none is provided. The basic package as sent only has the battery option (if it came with the plug I would give it 5 stars). Now to the reason I got the player. I have wanted a player for my stereo system but they generally run more than $100 for multiple cd changers (multiple because who wants to get up to change a CD after each is finished). My hope was that the Bluetooth of this player would connect to my stereo and I could keep the player on the end table beside me with the stack of cd's I wanted to use. This did not disappoint. The instructions say it is for connecting to a Bluetooth speaker but it connected to my stereo system without an issue. I was able to keep the connection from about 15 feet away from the stereo and it played with no interruptions. The sound coming through the system to my stereo is great. The only other downside is the motor\spin of the cd is a little loud. You don't really hear it while it is playing but it is distinct between tracks. I am very happy with it and it is just what I was looking for so I didn't need to purchase a full size cd changer.

This is not a high end sound bar but it does the job if you bought it for the purpose I did, which is to take the place of my TV speakers which were hard to hear. The design is nice but be very careful of what they call the bass speaker. It is uncovered on the underside and it can easily be broken. It sits nicely on a dresser with the rubber legs but the wall mounting leaves a lot to be desired (2 screws in your wall that aren't supplied) If you are looking for something with a lot of bass this is not for you. It sounds nice but it was made more as a supplement to your tv speakers or to replace them not as a home theater system.

I think boom box is a little much. It's about half the size of the BoomBox's I owned as a kid in the 70's and not near as loud. I think we still would have called it a portable radio. That being said, it is still a nice system for taking to the beach or any outdoor events. The sound is nice and clear and the radio picks up the stations in my area without issues. The tape drive is what it is, a tape drive. I don't have many left to try with it. The Bluetooth connection makes it all worth getting this. I connected my phone and played Pandora through the Bluetooth. I didn't use the USB because it's easier to stream from my phone then carry a usb stick. All in all it's a nice system to take with you but I was thinking something more like I owned back in the day. I am torn on the recommend to a friend. If I knew someone that was looking for a portable system or wanted to be nostalgic (like us older guys) I would recommend it, but it's not something I would run to my friends and say "Hey, you gotta see this thing".
On a side note I hope there is a future with a CD version. It would be great if they could keep the nostalgic look and have an 8 trach one but have the 8 track be a CD player that can be inserted or played separately (and make it a little bigger).

At age 57 and someone who's eyes are not as good as they used to be, this is an awesome monitor. I spend several hours a day in front of my PC and noticed the smaller monitors were hard on my eyes to the point I started to get headaches a lot. This monitor is perfect. Not only is the imaging crystal clear but everything is large and easy to read and there is no more eye strain and no more putting my nose inches from the monitor to read. I'm looking for a second one as soon as possible.

I've had an issue with the left earbud dropping connection. I've tried the resetting of the Bluetooth 5 times and I thought I finally had it when I decided to let it sit as is for a few minutes. The left earbud went out then came back with a hello, then said the left and right were paired. It worked for quite a while but then it started to intermittently drop the left earbud. It's not because of the location of my phone as it was sitting on my right shoulder testing if that was the issue. It is completely charged and so is my phone. It has been running fairly well since then with only one disconnect in an hour. Will have to keep an eye on it. When they connect the sound is nice for a set of earbuds that do not have noise cancellation.

I've had a few of these (not this brand) that clip to the vent and grip the phone, they've all been horrible. They either don't hold the phone or don't stay on the vent. To start this is made of metal, that in itself is amazing considering the throw away society we've become and everything being made from cheap plastic, somebody finally built something to last. I took it on some bumpy roads and railroad tracks to see how it would hold up. Of course there was a little bit of shake but the phone did not move from the base and the base did not fall out of the CD slot. For us older people who still use CD's and don't stream everything it doesn't effect playing CD's except for having to remove it to put one in. You do have to kind of twist the phone to remove it so you don't pull the whole thing from the slot. I used the external plate on my phone case, it is fairly thin and looks like it is part of the case. The only downside I can see is the metal plate you stick to your phone. This is such a quality made product that I think it will outlast your phone, especially the younger people who get a new phone every two years. For that reason I wish they had given 2 of each of the plates so you could get at least 4 years without having to buy a new plate from the company or trying to find a way to attach the old one. Other than that this looks like and feels like a quality product meant to last.

This is a really nice laptop. It's fast and has plenty of RAM. The 1TB hard drive might be small for the younger people who download everything but it work's for me. This is an upgrade from an older 17 inch HP that I own so it's nice to have the speedier network and the i7 chip. I do have issues with it reading my finger but it works well enough 90% of the time. The speaker system is nice for a laptop. The only con I have is it is just as heavy as my older 17 inch HP. Not really a con for me as I'm used to it but thought it might have been lighter. I think anyone buying it will enjoy it.

I'm not much of a Bose fan but these are really nice. The neck piece is a soft rubber coating and is very comfortable around the neck. The ear pieces fit nicely in the ear and stay in place while I was doing carpentry work around the house.I really like the noise cancellation. Even without the music it does a real good job of elimination most background noise. The only odd thing, but something I liked, is when you turn the noise cancellation all the way down it seems to increase the sounds around you. For an older person who is getting a little hard of hearing I liked that little extra amplification.

Had an issue with the headphones
October 19, 2016
I had an issue with the headphones where the green LED light would not go off. The headphones appeared to turn off as you could tell the noise cancelation was off and the music stopped playing but the light stayed on. This was causing the battery to drain as no matter what I did it would not go off. Eventually the battery completely drained and I tried charging them again but the light still would not go off. I called the Bose support number and talked to someone who immediately and without question set me up to have a new pair sent out. I was extremely impressed with the customer service. I just received the new pair today and will be checking them out this week. Thank you Bose for awesome customer service.

Confused about whether this is optical or hdmi arc as it says "Send audio and control information from your TV using just one cable with HDMI ARC" but lists the optical cable as being included and says there are no hdmi inputs and one optical input.
It has a single HDMI input and so the ARC capability but the HDMI cable is not included, It comes with an optical cable

No it doesn't. You would need to buy an external.
