Definitely a fine Euromix of greatest hits

I originally reviewed this on July 25, 2008. I desired some uplifting and high energy music to work out to when I was working out before work and at times after work just last summer. This cd caught my attention and it turned out to be a satisfying purchase. My favorite song on the cd is "celebrate: by Dj Bobo and listening to this song alone made me eventually get his greatest hits (which is in a earlier review). The song "mr vain" by Culture Beat is also very noteworthy and gave me the high energy jolt I needed when listening to it before or after going to work and/or working out. "Rhythm of the night" by Corona took me back to my teenage years when I first heard the song and enjoyed it alot. "What is love" by Haddaway , "La, La, Hey Hey by the Outhere Brothers, "What's Up" by DJ Miko are also some strong and unique tunes that really get ones energy going. What I also love about the cd is the eclectic music of the various eurodance artists and the fact that this cd is so much fun and high energy at the same time. A good cd to help get your body moving.

Definitely some of their best songs
on May 5, 2013

I originally reviewed this on June 22, 2008. This is definitely one of the best from Depeche Mode. Many of these songs exude creativity and emotion. They are also so believable where you can picture the lead singer David Gahan singing them to you. This is one of my favorite cds because when I first bought this cd I listened to it alot after work and its good for working out and making out. In my opinion what helps make this cd a masterpiece is many of these songs are creatively erotic and sensual but there are also some songs that appeal more to ones emotional side and spiritual side. In this cd there is something for everyone. Some of my favorites on this cd are just can't get enough, strangelove, dream on, personal jesus, people are people, walking in my shoes, and feel you. If you want a versatile cd that you can listen to on numerous occassions then your money spent on this cd is well worth it. This is is another classic that you will be happy to have bought.

Upbeat and entertaining

I originally reviewed this on June 15, 2008. I personally feel that the cd was overall very strong and entertaining. I admit that I can understand the viewpoints of both the positive and negative reviews. However in my opinion this cd helped solidify why Madonna still is and continues to be a shining example to others to always follow your dreams and that anything is possible. This cd is the type of cd that grows on you each time you listen to it. With that being said here are my opinions on each of the songs
candy shop 8/10 : a very strong song with exotic beats that would be perfect for a dance club.
4 minutes 7/10 a good collaboration with timbaland and justin timberlake with a strong horn.
give it to me 8/10: an excellent pairing with pharell that makes excellent use of the drums and conveys a message that you are here to win in life and that she will continue on regardless of what others may say.
heartbeat 10/10: One of the best songs on the cd in my opinion. I listen to this track alot on my way to work.
miles away 9/10: sounds inspired from love profusion but a beautiful song on how love can be appreciated even more in a long distance relationship.
she's not me 9/10: One of my other favorite songs about a woman telling her man that the other woman doesn't compare to her but does it in a groovy and fun way.
incredible 8/10: This song grew on me after the second listen and I like how the song praises her love in a very sensual way.
beat goes on 6/10: Another song grower but in my opinion is a listenable song about having fun and enjoying the moment.
dance 2 night 6/10: An ok song for mellow slow dancing moments.
spanish lesson 7/10: An interesting song with some spanish words in it that may not compare to la isla bonita but is still very strong and upbeat with singing about a girl who loves to fall in love and adds the catchy phrase "when you do your homework.
devil wouldn't recognize you 10/10 A very strong and magnetic song about her wanting to release her lover but keeps coming back to him more and more.
voices 7/10 A good collaboration with Justin Timberlake. Madonna carefully crafts an original masterpiece with this song with making the listener think about the societal master and slave roles.
All in all I think that this cd is perfect to listen to for a good and uplifting emotional boost.

“I decided to take a chance on Now 82 because of my previous enjoyment of Now 69. I had purchased Now 69 (the UK version) back in December 2008 when I was still living in Norfolk, Virginia. This compilation of Now 82 is a two disc set that has 22 tracks on each cd. What I also like is the selection of the diverse musical artists that include among the following: Fun, Janelle Monae, Carky Rae Jepsen, Maroon 5, Flo Rida, Rita Ora, Tinie Tempah, Ed Sheeran, Paloma Faith, Train, Cover Drive, Will.i.am, Eva Simmons, Calvin Harris, Ne-Yo, The Wanted, Loreen, B.o.B, Taio Cruz, and more featured artists.

Creative Divas

I too concur that this compilation is wonderful. There are many energetic and high energy trance/dance songs to listen to from a variety of the talented musicians that are listed on this compilation. What I really enjoy and appreciate about this music is that there are many songs to listen to whether you are looking for an emotional boost and/or to increase an already positive mood. Listening to this collection puts one in their own universe of joy. Some of the songs that are recommended to play right away are "Only If I" by Kate Ryan, "I'm Dreaming" by Ashley Jade, and "Voice of An Angel" by Marcella Woods. However, my favorite overall song in this compilation has got to be the fun and upbeat "Dreamboy" by Lauren #I enjoy this song more and more each time that I play it#. Trance Divas is definitely a selection to obtain if you crave unique, upbeat, and soul nourishing trance/dance music.

Ronan Keating Pop Hits

I first heard of Ronan Keating back around 2001-2002 when I listened to his song “Rollercoaster” from one of the European music import cds that I purchased while stationed overseas (through the military). I purchased “10 Years of Hits” by Ronan Keating after several months later in June 2010 (when I was still living in Orlando, Florida). “When You Say Nothing At All”, “Lovin Each Day”, “The Way You Make Me Feel”, and the “Last Thing On My Mind” (feat. Leann Rimes) are some of the multiple songs available on “10 Years of Hits.” There are a total of 17 songs in all.

Smashing Pumpkins Classics
on May 5, 2013

I had initially heard of the Smashing Pumpkins during the 90’s because some of their songs were featured on the radio. I originally purchased this collection of “The Smashing Pumpkins-Greatest Hits-Rotten Apples” in December 2005 when I was still living on the Mayport Naval base (near Atlantic Beach Florida). The following listing includes some of their classics that are featured on “The Smashing Pumpkins-Greatest Hits-Rotten Apples: “Today”, “Disarm”, “Landslide”, “1979”, “Tonight, Tonight”, and “Ava Adore.” This compilation is good for those who are open to listening to 90’s alternative rock collections.

Eclectic EuroMix

I decided to try this Euromix 5 cd box set by Tony Monaco due to a previous quality experience with the compilation of “Euromix Greatest Hits: A Decade of Dance” (February 9, 2004 edition) that also features various artists mixed by Tony Monaco. I was still living in Florida when I had purchased “Euromix Greatest Hits: A Decade of Dance” in August 2007 and I then reviewed it on July 25, 2008 (by the time I was living in Virginia). This edition of Euromix 5 cd box (November 12, 2003 edition) set by Tony Monaco follows in a similar satisfactory tradition of including various musicians representing the Euro-dance music genre. There are 21 songs on cd one, 21 songs on cd two, 22 songs on cd three, 22 songs on cd 4, and 20 songs on the bonus set of cd five. 2 Brothers On The 4th Floor, DJ Bobo, Sylver, Sash, Solid Base, Pulsedriver, Foggy, Stevie B, Magik Brothers, Lasgo, Oceanlab, and DJ Sammy are among the various music artists featured on this Euromix Box Set.

More Like Bar Lounge
on May 1, 2013

I decided to check out this “Chillounge” collection due to my interest in a varied sort of chill-out music. This compilation is fitting with the picture in the sense that you do get music from various artists that imbue a bar lounge vibe. The chill-out music with synth-pop, electronica, and/or melodic trance elements that I hoped for is unavailable in this “Chillounge” compilation. However, those looking more for a collection with mostly jazz musical hints may like “Chillounge.”

Tori Amos Videos
on April 28, 2013

The first songs that familiarized me with the music of Amos were “Cornflake Girl” and “Precious Things.” It was around the mid-1990’s and I had to be around 14-16 years old when I first heard these songs on the radio. I also had the chance to see her in concert back in December 2011. “Hey Jupiter”, “Cornflake Girl”, and “Caught A Light Sneeze” are some of the popular Tori Amos songs that are in this collection. This “Fade To Red” Video Collection by Tori Amos consists of 10 music videos on the first disc and 9 songs on her second disc. There are also two videos for the bonuses.
