Big monitor with a big price and big performance

I’m sure you know this but this is a massive monitor, it takes up my entire desk and look’s beautiful. Just be aware it’s ginormous when thinking about desk space.
So this is the latest and greatest from Samsung. The big thing now is Samsung have gone with OLED which is fantastic, not only do you get really low response rates, but you get amazing visuals due to amazing brightness and the deepest blacks possible.
This is basically two Quad HD monitors fused together like other G9s before it. It has an aspect ratio of 32:9 obviously because it’s an ultra widescreen. This is extremely immersive, especially playing games where you would use 3 smaller monitors usually like racing games and such to give you that cockpit view.
At 240hz you get silky smooth gameplay from this. If you’ve never played at that high of a refresh rate you’re going to be shocked as it’s just so smooth. Just be sure you have a gaming rig capable of providing the power to do so.
For gaming this is amazing but be aware that not all games will make use of this ultra widescreen format and current consoles also do not support ultra wide so expect black bars on each side of the monitor. So if you’re a console gamer I would t recommend any ultra widescreen.
This monitor is also amazing for video edition and photo editing due to having extremely great color accuracy. Having a massive timeline to edit my videos makes it so much easier than having to scrub back and forth. This is an editors dream other than not being quite 4K. While it’s not 4K the OLED panel makes up for it in so many ways.
One negative is the lack of ports, and I understand why they do this as it’s almost a bezeless display and they lack room to add these. Somehow they did manage to cram a couple of speakers in there which are not the best but will work if needed.
You also get the gaming hub that offer Xbox gamepass meaning you can do console/PC free gaming via streaming over the Xbox service which is a neat feature.
Overall I love this monitor for both gaming and editing. Yes it’s expensive, but if you’re looking at this type of monitor you already know about the cost of these things. This is by far the best 49” ultra widescreen monitor on the market, the OLED panel crushes VA and IPS panels when it comes to quality.

The Fastest Consumer SSD You Can Buy!

So this is the latest and greatest from Crucial. It’s the upgrade to the P5 and comes with double the performance! More on that later.
So packaging for this is simple, straight to the point and is nothing special. However the contents here are what are special.
So this looks like an everyday M.2 SSD with a heat sink and that’s because that’s what it is except it’s now running PCI 5.0 up from the previous versions 4.0. Running this SSD on the latest hardware is going to give you massive performance gains. As I mentioned earlier you are getting double the performance from this but you do need specific hardware to get that performance.
The device itself has the largest heat sink I’ve seen on an SSD and it’s understandable due to the speeds this reaches. The SSD is also very cool with this and without it would be an overheating mess. So please take note that this may not fit in your gaming laptops due to the heat sink.
So while using this everything just feels faster. Boot is almost like instant in, it’s just so fast. It’s a remarkable difference going from an older PCI 3.0 setup to a new 5.0 system. It really is a noticeable upgrade.
So to get this performance you will need to run an Intel 13th Gen or AMD Ryzen 7000 CPU and DDR5 RAM. This will allow for the full power to be unleashed. If you’re on a PCI4.0 system then you will still see gains but just not as impressive with the hardware mentioned
Overall I love this SSD. It made an immediate difference and made an already super quick PC even quicker.

An All In One That scan Do Almost Everything

This is the first all in one I have owned in a while and I’m genuinely impressed.
So this is the 13th gen i7 with 16gb of ram and a 1TB SSD. It also comes with a Nvidia GeForce MX550 2gb to help with some more graphical work.
Unboxing is very simple. Just open the lid, first Is the accessory pack which includes the legs and power cable, some leaflets and then the PC itself.
The legs simply press onto the stems on the back of the PC, once attached you will see you can articulate the PC to your desired angle. I like this as previous they were at a fixed angle and I always found them to be to low.
The other accessories you get are the keyboard and mouse. Both are wireless and do the job. They’re nothing ground breaking and so feel somewhat cheap but they work just fine and kinda look good too.
Using the Inspiron is nice. It’s fast, it’s snappy and can do pretty much everything other than serious gaming. For general everyday use it’s perfect. It doesn’t get bogged down at all even with many tabs open in Chrome. The addition of the MX550 allowed me to do some video editing and some photoshop work. While it wasn’t the quickest at that it was way quicker than using a device with intel iris.
Overall I like this Pc. It looks good, has decent sound from the speakers, the FHD display is bright and I don’t see pixels when using it. Overall it’s a great all in one that can do pretty much everything while keeping your desktop looking clean

Turtle Beach have been my go to for sometime. I loved last years model and had high hopes or this years upgrade and it has not disappointed at all.

It all comes nicely packaged and well protected if you were considering shipping this item. It should get to wherever you intend safely.
Build quality is top notch, the headset feels very premium with a little weight to it but nothing to heavy for gaming sessions. The earcups are pleather which may be an issue for someone who gets hot while gaming but they are high quality and comfortable. All the buttons are nice and clicky and easy to distinguish. On one of the cups are the volume control wheel, the noise cancelling mode button, Superhuman Hearing/Mic mute button, power button and the Bluetooth button. The mic is also flip up to mute which is an underrated feature. The mic also has lighting to let you know the mic is muted. The Hub is well built and also doubles as the charger for the removable batteries. Overall build quality on the entire package is extremely good.
Setup is a breeze, on the PS5 just follow the on screen instructions and you are in. PC is also extremally easy to set up. Don't forget to download the App on your phone and computer so you can tailor the sound to your liking and also keep thing up to date.
The Turtle Beach App itself is very good and allows you to adjust microphone sensitivity, noise gate, monitoring levels. It also allows you to remap some of your controls to suit your style.
Comfort wise these are really nice. Now like previous Turtle Beach headsets they do have a lot of clamping force at first and this will ease over a few days to the shape of your heard so while they may feel very tight when you initially wear them just know that they will loosen to your head shape. The ear cups are made of pleather which I mentioned earlier could be a small issue for people who get hot when gaming but they also help with the noise cancelling. I personally didn't find my ears to sweat while using them.
Sound quality on these is superb. Out of the box I would describe the sound as more tuned to competitive play where they focus more on the highs and lower the low end so you can hear footsteps easier. Some people love this but I`m more about the immersive experience and you can tune this to has some great low end while maintaining the highs and mids. These are a very versatile headset and even work great for listening to music. The mic is also a step up up with good clarity and detail. Mics can be the downfall of gaming headsets but Turtle Beach nailed it here. The noise cancelling is head and above any other gaming headset I have used and love this. Again this adds to the immersion as it blocks out sounds around you and lets you focus on your gaming. One negative in the sound would be overall volume, they do seem to not be as loud as last year but hopefully that's something Turtle Beach can fix going forward with a software update.
I love the swappable battery system, even though I've never had an issue before with battery life this style eradicates any issues altogether and with the hub also being the battery charger you always have a fully charged battery at arms length away. Its another underrated feature that I think makes this headset stand at the top.
Also being Multiplatform is a bonus as i can switch between my PC and PS5 and while that may sound trivial it means you don't have to buy a separate headset. Its almost a one for all. Its just a shame this one doesn't work with Xbox too, you will need to buy the Xbox version of this if you own an Xbox
Overall I really do like this headset, its comfortable, easy to setup, has some great sound though at a lower volume than I prefer. its customizable and offers a great gaming experience.

Extremely fast with great range

Netgear are one of the best when it comes to routers. They have a rich history when it comes to routers and they have offered some truly great devices. This Nighthawk AXE7300 is on that list.
The Nighthawk line is aimed at gamers for the simple fact you get speed. They tend to be one of the fastest routers available on the market and this is more of tha same. The Nighthawk AXE 7300 is one of a few routers that allow for true gigabit speeds, many routers fail here and will only send around 60% of your total bandwidth around your home.
It also features Wi-Fi 6E which is the latest in Wi-Fi speeds. If you have a compatible device you will get the 6ghz connection that allows for amazing low latency via a wireless connection.
The unit will cover up to a 2500sqft home and I believe that as I live in a 1600sqft home and have great signal throughout. It offers the best coverage of any router I’ve used that’s not a mesh system. It’s very impressive when it comes to range.
The app makes this very simple to setup. Just follow along and you’ll be up and running pretty quick.
Overall this is a great router, it’s blazing fast with excellent range. I have not had any drops in connection or quality issues. It’s a great router

I had the Eufy doorbell and then the separate eufy lock with keypad up to getting this, I loved them both as they worked flawlessly but this all in one is a great package and something that works better than the two older units.
Installation is very easy as is the app setup. You get the bridge/chime in the box as well as the lock and keypad.
This has everything you need. You have a smart lock, with pin, fingerprint scanner, manual key, camera, and doorbell with a 2 way mic and speaker. The fingerprint sensor is a new addition and welcome addition and works really well.
Also another big bonus with eufy is you don’t have any subscriptions unlike others. Clips are stored locally with an as card, you can buy a cloud storage option but I’ve never needed to use something like that. I love that I don’t have to pay to see me clips.
When I’m use it’s super clear and that 2K resolution really does impress, even at night time you can see everything with really good clarity.
The volume is also great and the chime is very loud and can be heard all over my 1700sqft home.
Overall I love this and think you will too

Soundcore do it again!

I really don’t know how Soundcore do things like this, and by this I mean how they offer so much for so much less than the competition. Soundcore continues to knock it out of the park at all price ranges but they may have really outdone themselves this time.
Unboxing is simple with a few extra tips, usb cable, paperwork and obviously the buds and case. Exactly what you would expect at this price point.
Build quality is the usual soundcore quality. Very sturdy dense plastics are used so you do get any creaking or cracking noises. You also don’t get any flexing of the materials like you can on other buds in this price range.
You have full app support which amazing at this price point. I say the Soundcore app is the best app available when it comes to earbuds and headphones and the fact you get full access to its features on these low cost buds blows my mind. The app allows for a real EQ on iOS which is a massive improvement over apples eq profiles. They also have many different sound profiles to suit your needs or you can set the eq to your preference. They also have Hear ID which plays a series of sounds to tune the buds to how you hear things. It works very well. You can also control the ANC and transparency modes with the app… ANC and app support at this price? Yup amazing!
Sound on these is really good, plenty of bass but you can also dial that back if you prefer a more shallow sound. They have a good sound stage and punch well above their weight. These might actually be too good for the price.
ANC is really good, by far the best at this price point and the same goes with transparency mode. A feature that usually doesn’t make it in buds at this price.
Battery is also solid and competes with buds 4 times the price of these.
Amazing buds!

Solid option for MagSafe charging in your car

I love this dash mount. I’ve had several like this and they eventually come loose and the arms just sat and flop around, especially with the iPhone 14 Pro Max as it’s a very heavy device.
This has been extremely sturdy while using. The suction is solid and doesn’t move once placed in the desired location. The arms stay in place and I have very little adjustments needed once I have put the arms in the desired location.
It’s super simple to setup and you will be up and running in no time. Unboxing is a simple affair which I like as it’s not trying to be something other than a dash mount. Literally less than a minute and you’re ready to go.
The magenta are strong too and hold my 14 Pro Max with no issues at all. I use this without a case and it’s not marked the back of my device at all. I have used it with a case and again it stays out but I will also say the case itself will make a big difference to the strength as not all MagSafe cases are the same when it comes to magnet strength
Overall this is a solid option

A solid keyboard that's extremely well made

The first thing you will notice about this keyboard is the weight. Its hefty and feels extremely well built. I like my keyboard to have some weight as i find it help in stopping the keyboard move when gaming or anything like that. It also makes me feel like its built better.
The keys are nice to type on, though not cherry they still feel good but you do get some pressure differences, though that may go away over time as it could be down to being new and not broken in yet if that's a thing with keyboards.
You can connect with the USB dongle that's provided or you can connect via Bluetooth, they both seem to be the same as far as speed. I see no noticeable delay using either so that's a good thing.
The wrist pad looks great but it is more for looks in my opinion, as its not uniform i found it a little uncomfortable and swapped it out for a regular wrist pad, not a deal break by any means and is purely personal choice.
No function keys on this so no more having to remember what does what. It does have controls at the top of the Keyboard though and they are nice features to have.
This is also the only non 10 key mechanical gaming keyboard as far as I'm aware that's made this way and I do like it.
One negative is the lack of being able to use this wired. Wireless only on this so if that's something that concerns you then its likely not for you.
Overall I love this keyboard, its feels premium, looks really good with the RGB, feels good to type on and is a good size

Amazing picture quality for more than just the PS5

As soon as this box arrived at the house I was so exited to get this up and running. This is where my first disappointment happened.
In the box you get obviously the Monitor, AC power adapter, AC power cord, booklets, a sticker and a calibration report, sounds great, right? Well as you can see you don't get any HDMI cables or any Display Port Cables. I'm not sure what that's all about as at this price it should come with both so you can game right out of the box.
Overall the picture quality is really good but not great, I found some uniformity issues which I didn't expect but overall its a sharp picture if a little washed out at times. You do get some darkness in the corners also at times. I didn't notice it a lot but once i had seen this i was aware and always had to look for it.
The stand isn't the best but it gets the job down allowing you to move the monitor up and down but it wont let you turn the monitor, not a deal breaker for me but could be for some.
The monitor has USB passthrough but for some reason they limited it to a lowly 15w. While its better than nothing i did expect better at this price.
Overall its a decent monitor, its good for your PS5 and has app support to quick change settings, it also works with the XBox Series X and S as well as PC. Would i recommend it? If you had to have a 27" 4K monitor with FALD it would be an option but for most people you will find better out there

Is this phone only available on Verizon?
It works on any carrier, the difference between the Google supplied phone and the Verizon one is that the bootloader is locked on the Verizon version, which isnt an issue unless you like to modify your device, my Pixel XL is working just fine on T-Mobile
