Great case with bizarre company branding

This looks far better in person. I wasn’t sure when I first looked at the design but figured I’d give it a go.
The rails are a soft but sturdy TPU material which makes it really easy to get the phone in and out of the case. No worries about scratching the titanium rails on the phone. On the right hand side rail it does have say that the case is made from recycled phone cases which is a really cool idea but I do think that should be on the packaging of the case and not directly on the case itself. Luckily it’s not very noticeable but when you see it you will always see it.
The buttons feel pretty good, they’re the same material as the rails on the case so no metal buttons or extra clicks buttons. I prefer it when they add plastic or metal buttons to cases but that’s purely something I prefer and not what everyone will like.
The cutouts are precise and the case forms to the phone extremely well. Not seems out of line or out of place. The camera cutout does have the company logo etched around it. I thought this was some kind of sticker I could remove but it’s not, I’m not a huge fan of that personally.
The snake design is pretty nice and it’s textured. It’s not your run of the mill sticker or flat printed design, the snake skin actually feels somewhat like snake skin. The clear back is also nice as it is crystal clear.
It’s also nice and slim fitting which I like but still has adequate protection for small drops.
I’m overall I like this case. The over the top company logos on the camera cut out are the only reason I have this a 4, I honestly think this should be something the consumer can remove and sadly I wouldn’t buy another Casetify case for that reason

Lightweight Headset for long term gaming

With this year’s iteration of the H5 I feel Sony made some decent improvements.
This headset has comfort going for it. The H5 is lightweight which is great for extended gaming sessions. The weight makes a huge difference with how comfortable a headset can be, a lot of people don’t think of this at get time as generally most headsets don’t feel heavy initially but after a couple of hours you can really start to notice. With these I had no such issue. The cups are also extremely comfortable and I didn’t find they made my ears hot or create any sweat. For me Sony nailed the comfort aspect, thigh I will note if you have a larger head they keep feel a tad tight for a few days.
These are not Bluetooth and do require a 2.4ghz dongle that comes with the headset. People may frown at this but it’s actually better as you get a better distance reception so if you were hoping to pair these with a phone then you’re out of luck.
Sound wise these are decent. Spoken word is crystal clear and ambient noises in games are picked up quite well. The lows are not as deep as I would like but that’s all personal preference.
You can also use these on the PC and download Sonys software but I’ve only used them on my PS5.
Overall these are a good companion for your PS5 and that’s about it, they’re made for gaming and use a dongle for wireless connection so be aware of that before diving in hoping for an all in one solotion

Kid friendly device that my autistic son loves

Amazon are the pioneers of smart speakers and smart displays, dating back to 2014 when they released the first smart speaker and 2017 for the first smart display. One thing people know when it comes to these things is it’s an Amazon product with Alexa.
At $99.99 you have a lot to like about the new 3rd generation. It comes with improved speakers which do offer a better sound quality over previous generations and perfectly acceptable for a device of this size and cost. While they don’t have the deep lows of more expansive and larger speakers they still sound great for your kids to use.
The display is 5.5 inches and looks good. It also touch screen so your kids can interact. No problem here with the display.
Setup is extremely easy, just connect to wood and setup your kids profile, Fire OS is really easy to work with as it’s a fork from Android so everything should look familiar if you’re an android user.
My son is autistic and absolutely loves talking to this device, he asks so many questions which help him with is speech delay and also helps him with his motor skills using the touchscreen.
There is plenty to do for your child on here and it’s not brain numbing garbage. This is a great way to get your child use to the modern day tech that surrounds us and will assist in making this completely normal as they grow.
The only downside is the Amazon sales connected to some of the things. I know Amazon need to push sales through these as that’s likely most of the profit bargain.
Overall my son loves this, he calls it his robot and talks to it all the time and his face lights up when Alexa responds back to him.
I think this is a must have for most kids and I would highly recommend this for any child with learning difficulties.

Technics have just made the best buds you can buy

Technics are back and these earbuds are right up there with the best of them.
Technics was always a brand that was known for high quality audio. The Z80M are exactly that.
The packaging is similar to the slight cheaper z60m and the unboxing is identical with what you get in the box. You get 7 different types of ear tips which is a great thing as you’re almost guaranteed to find the best fit for you.
The earbuds themselves are extremely comfortable and in the black they are quite discreet, they don’t stick out and they don’t give me any ear fatigue at all.

These are also ipx4 rated so fine for working out but be aware the case has no ratings at all. The case is a nice size and also supports Qi wireless charging
Battery life on these is really good too, I’m getting a hair over 7 hours with ANC enabled and 9 without it which is right up there with the top dogs.
These are also the first earbud to offer 3 way multipoint connectivity and it works perfectly. Pause your music on one device and carry on listening on any of the the 2 other device you have paired. I’ve never had multipoint work so well, technics nailed it.
The ANC is also right up there with the best you can get providing uninterrupted listening while keeping the high quality audio that these produce. They also have transparency mode which still works great but not quite the quality of the ANC. Overall very solid
The app is the same as you use with the z60 and as I mentioned in that review it is by far the best app I’ve used on any earbuds. It’s feature filled and easy to use.
Now the most important part. The sound on these is in my opinion the best you can get at this price point. Sound separation is the best I’ve heard with instruments and different voices coming through in rich detail, the lows are so nice and smooth. The soundstage on these is above the rest and offer a consistent high quality no matter what music you play. And with the EQ in the app you can dial them in even more to your liking.
Technics hit a home run with these and I highly recommend you trying these over the usual suspects at this price. You will not be disappointed

This is the best soundbar I've used!

I've always loved Bose sound bars. They always offer great sound and this new Bose Ultra Smart Sound bar is the best yet in my opinion
Coming in at about 41" long with a height of a hair over 4" the Ultra packs a lot in what I consider to be quiet a small frame. It houses 9 speakers which consist of 6 full range transducers, two custom upwards firing dipole speakers and a center tweeter. All this gives you extremely immersive audio while watching your movies or playing your games.
This has dolby Atmos support and it really does work well when in use, it amazing how this soundbar can make it seem like you have speakers around you and not just firing in front of you. It really does seem like you have a speaker above you at times. If you're watching something that isn't in dolby Atmos then truespace does a pretty good job of trying to give you that similar experience. While not quite what you get with Atmos it still does a good job of sound separation. High marks for Bose on how this works.
One big problem I've found with sounbars is dialogue being drowned out by explosions or any other loud noise but with the Ultra this is greatly improved as it uses something called AI dialogue mode which makes so you can still hear spoken word during fire fights and races. I find nothing worse than watching a movie only to stop it to change my sound settings to hear what people are saying and then removing all the action noise. It totally kills the audio experience and Bose has done a great job of not needing to do that.
You can use Bose simple sync with this which allows you to connect your other Bose headphones and speakers, while I didn't try this feature it's nice to have options like this.
This soundbar is also voice activated with Bose voice 4voice. When I connected via HDMI ARC I could turn on my TV and soundbar with my voice, it also utilizes amazon Alexa. It works really well.
It also have Bose app support which you use to setup the soundbar, it's very simple to use and makes the experience much better
Apple airplay2 and Spotify also work here but I didn't test those as I don't use those services.
Overall this is the best soundbar I've owned. The audio is crisp, clear and immersive. Voices come through really well even in the high octane moments. Setup is easy, the app is well laid out and the size is respectful.

Some of the best sounding earbuds available!

I’ve not seen technics for years, the last time I owned anything Technics was back in the 90s when I had one of the SL turntables. Technics was a huge company in England in the 80s and 90s so I was really intrigued when I noticed these new earbuds by them.
Unboxing is pleasant. Everything is packed well and has that premium feel to it. You get various size earbud tips, a short USB C cable for charging, and of course the buds and the case.
Build quality is exceptional. Like most earbuds these are plastic but not that cheap feeling plastic. These feel like a premium set of earbuds from the moment you touch them. I understand why they use plastics in earbuds and that’s because of weight and these things are nice and light while still made really well. The case isn’t the smallest I’ve come across but it’s also not the largest and again is constructed really well. The mage nets inside the case are nice and strong and keep the earbuds in the case even when shaken around. The case also has wireless charging capabilities.
The Technics app is extremely good, you will find an update after you go through the initial setup for your earbuds. This has to be the most fleshed out app I’ve seen. You can change almost everything to suit how you use your earbuds. It’s by far my favorite app when it comes to earbud control.
When it comes to sound these sound great! Don’t let the 8mm driver size fool you, these have a great sound. They cater to so many different types of music without missing up any of the kids and retains the details in the highs. They have smooth lows which are not over bearing but still over that head nodding bass.
ANC is right up there with a certain fruity companies Pro buds and so is transparency.
The only negative I have is they could be better for phone calls, but I don’t use the buds for calls so it’s a non issue for me but for some the quality isn’t matching the rest of the package.

Built to go where other e-bikes can't. Even when you aren't riding this e-bike you can take it where others can't go thanks to its easy foldability. Durable, shock absorbing off-road fat-tires can take on any sort of bike path or trail you can think of. Be sure to make use of the rear storage rack so you can take more than what's in your backpack.

My first eBike and I love it!

This is my very first e-bike. I had always wanted one but wasn’t ever sure enough to take the plunge. How I wish I had done many months ago as this thing is great fun.
So obviously the box this comes in is big and pretty heavy. The bike does require some assembly like attaching the front wheel, attaching the handle bars and seat and screwing the pedals on. Putting this together is pretty simple and didn’t take much effort though I would recommend having someone with you to move the bike around when installing the parts to make the bike complete.
The item ships with the battery disabled but all you do for this is insert the key which is done by interesting near the folding mechanism under the frame and turn it anti clockwise. This will engage the battery.
Once you get this out on the road I would suggest putting it on 2 or 3 at first, I put it on full speed not expecting it to take off like it did, once you start peddling the motor kicks on and takes you to 20mph really quickly. I was shocked how fast this goes. It’s great fun.
Range has been great and charging is easy with the included adapter. This is such a fun item and makes riding a bike so much fun. I have rheumatoid arthritis and couldn’t ride a bike but this makes it so I can now ride a bike and I love every minute of it.

Big sound with a great light show!

Not only do I love this speaker but so does my autistic toddler. I’ll get more on to why later.
So this is a pretty big speaker, it’s quite heavy and very well built, this is a party speaker so be aware of that.
LG have done a couple of really good things to make this thing easily moved. I’ve had big speakers before that are cumbersome and just a pain to move around. LG decided to put wheels on this unit and also and extendable handle. It’s the same setup you would find in a similar sized suitcase and it’s extremely effective when maneuvering to where you want it. Genius idea by LG.
Build quality on this is solid. It’s made from a very dense plastic and just feels substantial. It feels like a quality product. It has the XBOOM name on the front and sides but it doesn’t look garish. Buttons are easily accessible on the top of the unit and have a pleasant feel to them.
You get app support from LG also which allows you to use preset sound profiles or select your own with an EQ. Also in the app it lets you control the lights on the speaker and the led display. You can even create your own design for the LED display which is great.
The lighting on this looks really good with no billed through, it can react to the music and this is where my toddler loves it, he loves to see the dancing graphics while he has me blast out the peaches song by jack black. It really is excellent.
Sound is also really good from this and very loud. With the EQ you. An make this sound however you like but it has great lows while not not slipping into the mids. The highs are also clear and present and it makes for an enjoyable listening experience
I love this speaker and so do my family. Battery is great, Bluetooth range is great, sound is great and so is the build quality.
You and your family will love this

Big monitor with a big price and big performance

I’m sure you know this but this is a massive monitor, it takes up my entire desk and look’s beautiful. Just be aware it’s ginormous when thinking about desk space.
So this is the latest and greatest from Samsung. The big thing now is Samsung have gone with OLED which is fantastic, not only do you get really low response rates, but you get amazing visuals due to amazing brightness and the deepest blacks possible.
This is basically two Quad HD monitors fused together like other G9s before it. It has an aspect ratio of 32:9 obviously because it’s an ultra widescreen. This is extremely immersive, especially playing games where you would use 3 smaller monitors usually like racing games and such to give you that cockpit view.
At 240hz you get silky smooth gameplay from this. If you’ve never played at that high of a refresh rate you’re going to be shocked as it’s just so smooth. Just be sure you have a gaming rig capable of providing the power to do so.
For gaming this is amazing but be aware that not all games will make use of this ultra widescreen format and current consoles also do not support ultra wide so expect black bars on each side of the monitor. So if you’re a console gamer I would t recommend any ultra widescreen.
This monitor is also amazing for video edition and photo editing due to having extremely great color accuracy. Having a massive timeline to edit my videos makes it so much easier than having to scrub back and forth. This is an editors dream other than not being quite 4K. While it’s not 4K the OLED panel makes up for it in so many ways.
One negative is the lack of ports, and I understand why they do this as it’s almost a bezeless display and they lack room to add these. Somehow they did manage to cram a couple of speakers in there which are not the best but will work if needed.
You also get the gaming hub that offer Xbox gamepass meaning you can do console/PC free gaming via streaming over the Xbox service which is a neat feature.
Overall I love this monitor for both gaming and editing. Yes it’s expensive, but if you’re looking at this type of monitor you already know about the cost of these things. This is by far the best 49” ultra widescreen monitor on the market, the OLED panel crushes VA and IPS panels when it comes to quality.

The Fastest Consumer SSD You Can Buy!

So this is the latest and greatest from Crucial. It’s the upgrade to the P5 and comes with double the performance! More on that later.
So packaging for this is simple, straight to the point and is nothing special. However the contents here are what are special.
So this looks like an everyday M.2 SSD with a heat sink and that’s because that’s what it is except it’s now running PCI 5.0 up from the previous versions 4.0. Running this SSD on the latest hardware is going to give you massive performance gains. As I mentioned earlier you are getting double the performance from this but you do need specific hardware to get that performance.
The device itself has the largest heat sink I’ve seen on an SSD and it’s understandable due to the speeds this reaches. The SSD is also very cool with this and without it would be an overheating mess. So please take note that this may not fit in your gaming laptops due to the heat sink.
So while using this everything just feels faster. Boot is almost like instant in, it’s just so fast. It’s a remarkable difference going from an older PCI 3.0 setup to a new 5.0 system. It really is a noticeable upgrade.
So to get this performance you will need to run an Intel 13th Gen or AMD Ryzen 7000 CPU and DDR5 RAM. This will allow for the full power to be unleashed. If you’re on a PCI4.0 system then you will still see gains but just not as impressive with the hardware mentioned
Overall I love this SSD. It made an immediate difference and made an already super quick PC even quicker.

It works on any carrier, the difference between the Google supplied phone and the Verizon one is that the bootloader is locked on the Verizon version, which isnt an issue unless you like to modify your device, my Pixel XL is working just fine on T-Mobile

The Verizon version i have comes with no bloat, i removed the sim before powering on, it also works on T-Mobile
