Good Smart Speaker

Starting us off with the unboxing experience it's pretty plain jane. You get the unit with a charging cable. Everything does look quality packed with extra attention to detail on the box itself, for those who care about that experience.
Once you get to performance we start by judging it for sound quality. Bass is decent for how little the speaker is but where it lacks is in the higher volumes. Speaker will sound.... crunchy once you get past that 3/4 volume which to be fair even at that volume it's loud enough to overpower a shower. It's even able to take those google commands while music is playing and shower is going. One pro and con is that when you leave the speaker on it knows to turn it off. The problem with that is when you walk back in that room and say the "Ok Google" command it can't hear you. Powering on the unit and having it connect to the wireless network seems to take thirty seconds which if it could connect faster I would appreciate it. Last thing is battery life, which I feel like three and half hours shouldn't be a standard for these type of speakers.
For the price I think this speaker is worth the money. I hope this helps you decide.

Quality with a flaw...
on December 11, 2017

Disclaimer: I am not a audio expert in anyway this is just my opinion.
Starting us off the unboxing experience is great. The headphones made of a quality metal and heavy in a good/bad way. The quality is only knocked down a peg when you touch the outer of the ear cups and your greeted with cheap feeling plastic. Underneath all of that you get a quality carrying bag for your new headphones filled with two cables to charge and connect.
Performance tells you great and bad things about these headphones. First, my biggest complaint and one that has heavily influenced my review is comfort. These are the MOST uncomfortable headphones I have ever worn. You could say that it's designed to keep the sound in but I've worn a lot of headphones and none have sacrificed comfort for quality of sound especially for the price. Sound is what you expect amazing with great lows and highs. The app that is recommended to you to adjust is better than a lot I have used with simple controls to better your experience. Last thing on performance, battery life was a bit better at 24 hours which while wearing them for more than an hour it does tend to heat you up.
Overall I think these headphones are great sounding but the comfort alone is so bad that it's hard to recommend them. If sound quality is all you want with a premium brand name to back it up than these are the ones for you.

Great but that cost though...

To start off my needs for a blender are pretty basic as I only tend to use them for smoothie making for my morning breakfast. Please keep this in mind when reading further.
Once you get this unit you are greeted with exactly what I didn't expect. This is a small gripe but the unboxing experience is poor with just the unit inside and not securely fashioned down which I've come to expect when opening up higher end.... well anything. After you remove the unit's base and blender you are greeted with a nice book which had recommendations for smoothies which I will say were good. Another con for me though had to be that it came with no attachments. When your spending this much for a unit and the units at half the cost which can perform very nicely themselves it was a huge loss to see that not even one extra blending attachment could be found.
Past that we get to performance and this is where the unit truly shines. The controls are very basic to the point that I would say anyone could figure out. When I throw in my usual strawberries, bananas and a handful of ice, it handles them with ease. Quickly smoothing them up for my consumption. This is a well built machine no doubt about that.
Wrapping up though for me I can't get past three small things. First, not well wrapped which for the cost I expect at the very least more cardboard to support the unit. Second, extra accessories that might fit other peoples life styles which for me would have been a smaller container with a drinkable lid for example. Finally, the one thing I thought I would get from my experience of buying more expensive appliances I thought sound would come into play. Make it quieter which honestly if they had done this I would have easily felt the cost was worth it. If all you need is a blender that will survive the years I have a feeling this is the one for you but if you feel efficiently alone isn't enough to justify price than I'd recommend keep looking around.
I appreciate you reading my review and I hope it helps you choose the right one for your situation.

Starting off sound is subjective and I'm not a sound aficionado.
That being sound let me start with what you get in the box. First, plenty of ear cups sizes to go around so if your worried they won't fit, DONT BE! Second, After following the steps, yes you need to follow the steps, to pair them up successfully you realize that it's not a terrible experience but could definetly been a easier setup process. It recommended me downloading the app and once I went to the store to get it you see a 2.5 star rating.
Getting into sound quality it's just okay. Reason I say this is becuase volume seems inconsistent in the sense that if your at 1/4 volume and you turn it up it sounds like you went up a whole 1/4 and you turn it down to go back to volume you swear is louder than when you were just there. Next, the treble's for me were just too high which stopped me from venturing past half volume due to the pain they caused. I will say that the function buttons are something you have to get use to but once you do they are your best friends.
All in all I'd only recommend these headsets if you care about two things. Connectivity to your phone which they exceed at. Or if you are only getting them for the true wireless aspect. Other than that there are better options, mind you with cables, but better options which put sound quality first.
I appreciate you reading my review and I hope it helps you in your decesion.

To start off sound is super objective to the individual listening so I'm not saying I'm a sound aficionado just going to tell you how it sounds to me.
First thing that you need to talk about with this unit is the unboxing experience. The manufacturer made it a fun experience with a quality feeling EVERYTHING!
Once you get past that you see all its features and I was excited. I booted mine while it was on it's wireless charger to find my first pro and con. Alexa is great if you have amazon music which to be fair Logitech gives you a trail of it to get you started. I don't listen to my music from Amazon and didn't like that I was forced into because my music service was not supported. Asking basic things like paus stop or next track are fun but I noticed that when I used the Alexa side it disconnected the Bluetooth side... every... single... time. So I stopped using it for that and just focused on sound quality. Unfortunately this was a tall order on this unit. I felt the sound had a incredible amount of treble which hurt me even at 50% volume. My phone luckily supports a great equalizer built in and I tweaked it to sound good but not great. For how much you invest in a unit like this I felt like they fell short. It has a lot of things to love like the basic waterproofing it offers and wireless charging to make everything super simple but to me those are cool/gimmicky.
To summarize if water proof speaker is what your looking for with wireless charging then I would say this is probably the best one. If your looking for the best sound you can get I would say maybe something else.
Thank you for taking the time to read my review and I hope it helped a little in your decision. Good Luck!

Best Camera Solution I've ever seen!
on November 13, 2017
Posted by: AverageConsumer
from Arizona
I want to start off by saying I've played with a lot of these Wi-Fi Camera's which is why I can make the bold claim in my Summary.
Starting with what you get it's pretty straight forward. Two camera's with two mounts to match. Arlo base station with power cable and a cute sticker to warn others you have a camera system. When it comes to the base station please keep in mind two things. First, you will need to have it hooked up with a direct ethernet so if you router only supports one extra free plug which your using that may be a problem. Second, if your like me and your tired of your computer room getting more little lights that don't turn off than you will be slightly annoyed when you see the three new lights to join the family.
Once we get into performance is where this unit shines. I have had problems with just estabilishing a connection to other Wi-Fi camera's to the point where I gave them away since the manufacturers wouldn't help me. Arlo DOES NOT HAVE THIS PROBLEM! Arlo takes a few seconds, maybe ten, to get you into the live view and see what the alert is telling you. Which brings me to something you will need to adjust immediatly the alerts. I put this in my garage and front door and it goes off like crazy. The worst part is that it's naturally set up to send you emails too so first day I set it up I had 28 emails of Arlo has detected motion and my phone just beeping like crazy. Video quality is great at 1080p and the ability to talk through the camera to talk to delivery guys is amazing. The last thing that I find amazing about this product is the FREE SERVICE. Yes, you heard me right FREE for up to five camera's with 7 day recording. If you do need more cameras for your house than yes you will have to pay but that's a great deal especially when your just starting out and trying to find the best camera for you.
Simply put everyone I recommend the Arlo to you and your friends and family. I personally love it enough to where I want to go buy more and maybe get a sking to help hide them which they do sell here or on Arlo's own website.
Hope this helps and thanks for reading my review.

Good for what you get
on November 6, 2017

I want to start off by saying this was a hard review. Reason being there is a few things extra that you have to consider before making this purchasing decision. First being does your county require a permit to have on of these systems because mine does but luckily only $10 a year. Second, which of the two monthly services do you pick the interactive one that gives you control of our system through your phone. That's the one you want and it's $24.99 a month or $14.99 a month for a hey we will call if you something happens.
Before that when you unpack this system you get a lot of sensors for the money. 6 entry sensors which covered every door and window in my smaller home. You might need more if your house has more but luckily you also get two motion sensors which all ties in with the keypad and base station. First thing that you will love about this system is EASY INSTALL. Just some adhesives to put up instead of a complicated drilling holes kind of setup. Keep in mind you do get screws just incase the adhesives don't work for you but you should be okay.
What's really nice about this system is it's a good starting base meaning if you need to add a camera or another sensor just get it and stick it. Setup was easy and I also appreciated the multiple way to do it, including a usb stick key fob incase you prefer a simple setup wizard way.
My only gripe is what I mentioned at the beginning. I want the $24.99 option but I don't think it's worth and extra $10 a month. I almost feel like they should have just given only one option at $20 a month instead also everything is super cheap plastic. Other than that the system works well and gives you a nice grace period so you don't actually set it off and have to pay for the sorry alarms. Everything uses batteries so nobody can just disconnect the power to bypass the system.

Gaming at its finest

Let's begin with the in boxing experience. First, you get the usuals unit+power cable and then a wired keyboard mouse combo that you probably won't use since it's basic and not designed for gamers. Once you get the computer pulled out though you see a beautiful design plus a convenient handle for those of us who take our computers with us.Tie it all together with sssoooo many ports and upgrade capabilities that personally I think is a good starting platform to make whatever computer your looking for.
Performance is what you should expect from this unit. With it's solid state drive you fly through boot up times. The first thing you will notice though is how incredibly quiet the fans are. Once you get into the system you see that you have controls to overclock whatever you need so even someone like myself who isn't the most tech savvy in doing that can. I tried a ton of games I own on this computer and yes the performance was amazing but even how long it took to get a game started was cut in 1/10 compared to my old computer. More time playing and less time waiting. Every game I put on this was able to push everything at MAX settings with ease. The only con which is a small one is the fact that out of the box it's not 100% compatible with some of the VR options out there which the newest VR said it only needed a driver fix so not too difficult.
Simply put if your a gamer like me or someone who just wants to make sure they will have a great computer for anther 5-10 years, you can't go wrong with this one.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Value vs Easy of Use
on October 19, 2017

I want to start off saying I'm not much of a cooker but the few things I do this does help.
Now saying that let's start with what you get. The base station, the two container compartment system, add two blades and a topper to seal it up. From my above statement the one and only problem I ran into was ease of use. Someone like me who has never used something to cut up my onions etc. before I spent a good amount of time trying to figure out how to change the blades and their purpose. This should be the case, I would have greatly appreciate a simple pamphlet that said oh by the way here's how you build your lego creation. It made me feel dumb but once I got past that I was thanking my lucky stars that I got this. Performance is strong but it just makes things that normally would take me a few minutes with my hand feeling abused after to a few seconds and me singing songs while I'm cutting them up.
I would say for the price of this unit it's easily a wonderful addition to the collection. Even cleaning it was simple which if you can't tell I enjoy simplicity.
Thanks for reading my review and hope it helped.

This shaver is so amazing you will shave way more often and you might shave whole face/head in a happy frenzy!
I got this shaver to replace an old $400 shaver I still have and starting off with the unboxing experience it's pretty straight forward. You get the shaver, one blade piece, one trimmer attachment, a nice charging stand to make life easier and a nice enough shaving case/bag to carry it in.
Once you get past that you grab your unit and shave. The blade gets really close without cutting myself like crazy or what my old shaver would do is YANK my hair out as it tries to cut. Thank you for that Phillips! The unit is a close shave and even after shaving my entire face it only lost 5% of it's battery. Looking forward to a long battery life with this unit.
I have nothing bad to say about this shaver and some might say but yeah you are now hooked on their blades for life but my response to that would be. If I think of it like this I saved over $300 getting this one over another one my old clunky ones so I can afford the blades. Also, I had an old shaver that wanted to replace the blades after 9 months so it can't be helped plus they are pretty cheap.
I hope my review helped you in your decision and seriously buy this I would be seriously surprised if you returned it.

Poor quality at higher volume!!

I know it's just a sound bar! But a 1500 dollar soundbar! Sounds great until u crank it up! Sub totally distorts! I would expect a lot more from Bose and especially for $1500!! For that amount u wud be better off getting a whole surround system with a larger more powerful sub!! Skip this one! Sorry Bose!

sounds just like LG soundbar, wall mount extra $50
By gadgetnerd1 from VA
Before buying this soundbar, I visited the BestBuy store and tried out about 10 different brands/models. I needed a soundbar with wireless subwoofer. I read reviews on different websites. Most wireless subwoofers interrupted the WiFi, or were really big. I picked Bose because it sounded excellent in store (other soundbars were connected using stereo cables or were non functional).
Setting it up was very easy. I did the audio calibration, which in my opinion did not make any difference to the audio quality. I watched some action scenes from the Bourne movies and Matrix but it didn't sound as great as it did in the store.
Then as I proceeded to do a wall mount, I realized that I had to buy a mount separately. Seriously Bose? You couldn't make keyholes in the base like every other soundbar has? I have ordered it online and waiting to get it delivered. It's like buying a $500 printer, taking it home and realizing that they did not include the $2 USB cable.

Listen to it yourself because this review is wrong
October 2, 2012
I agree with you that the fact you have to buy a 50 dollar mount is ridiculous but how dare you say that it's the same quality as that poorly constructed Lg sound-bar. It cracks at even mid range volume and it only has bass if you can get that subwoofer to pair which it tends to disconnect on its own. Everyone reading this go buy the Bose 1 SR I guarantee that you will not want to give it up and if you need more convincing think of this have you ever seen a open or used Bose for sale at a Best Buy? Never returned!

Needs work
By guardLK from Selinsgrove
I returned my entire Samsung Radiant set and replaced them with one of every sonos speaker. The sonos sound MUCH better, dont distort like the samsungs did, the software works better. These samsung radiant speakers sound good at low volume, but once they go over about 60% they start to distort, the bass drops off and they sound hallow. With the sonos bridge, it creates its own network for the speakers that wont choke up my WiFi. I had problems with these speakers staying connected if i had more than two on at a time. There is no competing product like the sonos bridge/boost. These are samsungs second attempt at around the house speakers, and they are better than gen 1, but still need quite a bit of work all around. Overall, Sonos still owns the home speaker market.
One thing thats great about the R5 (that the rest of the Radiant series doesnt have) is that it can connect wirelessly to any newer Samsung tv. Use the TV Connect option in the samsung app on your phone to connect the two, and thats it. So if you ARENT interested in a whole home set up, but maybe just looking for a bass boost on your tv setup without breaking the bank, this is a good place to look.

I agree with the other commenter, I own 2 of the Samsung Radiant R7's in my living room and they are nothing short of breath taking. The audio is flawless at any volume but I came on the reviews for this one to see if was just as good or if I should just spend the money on more R7's. After reading this review I found it to be Sonos Advertisement-y to be a real person so I'm just going to pick one up tomorrow from Best Buy and I'll post my review. So I guess thanks for your review I'm sold!

Mixed
By Mike10
So far I find it ok, having had its predecessor. I'll Pro/Con it below:
Pro:
-more comfortable than the Gear Fit 1
-much quicker responsiveness than its predecessor when pressing options
-the motion trigger to turn the watch face on seems accurate
-compatible and working with Nexus 6p (good sign that it works with other Android phones with Android 4.4 and after as they claim)
-quick setup but the navigation is harder to grasp than the Gear Fit 1 (at least to me)
-improved heart rate monitor allows intermittent testing (something tantamount to every hour)
Con:
-no obvious way to turn the screen off after it triggers on (you have to wait until it fades to off at one of the preset intervals)
-the watch faces look ugly and there aren't that many to choose from
-the stair counter isn't very accurate
-why have and claim mp3 player for this when all it is is really a small flash drive seeing as how it has no speaker unto itself or headphone jack to issue any music
-The initial declines in the battery make me doubt the battery life claims (it loses %s to fast)
-Notifications are not displayed well (very easy to accidentally block the app which sent the message when you in fact only wanted to close the notification or reply)
I'll conclude by saying the like the idea of this Gear Fit product as I did its predecessor but I'd pay more for better. I tried Moto 360 and others and didn't like them. I wish Samsung would stop restricting the better Gear products and allow them to work with non-Samsung phones. I guess I could just buy into Samsung's phone lines but I don't want to.

Agree to disagree

I agree with most if your review as I was an owner of the original Gear Fit myself but a couple of things come to mind. First, you can have the display go off by simply covering the screen. Lastly, the music player function might not be for you but is a welcomed feature in my book. If you go for a run and don't want to take your phone you can just take a pair of Bluetooth headphones and your gear. Other than that good review.

How do I clean this case if I got a stain on it .

The way I clean mine is remove it from the phone and than just run it under a sink while rubbing everything off. As long as you dont use chemicals you should be fine.

Enjoy your favorite music through these Sony Sports wireless noise-cancelling headphones. The in-ear design ensures a snug fit, so you can jog or walk without missing a beat, and the wireless format eliminates the need for cumbersome cords. The Ambient Sound Mode on these Sony Sports wireless noise-cancelling headphones keeps you alert to your environment.

Two questions: First, 6 hours battery life for listening time? Second, Can you turn off the noise canceling to increase battery life in-between charges?

Yes and with the ambient noise turned off which is just a little button on the headset you can get about 4 more hours of battery life in my experience.

Enjoy up to 10 hours of wireless audio with these Sony noise-canceling headphones. They produce rich sound by playing at audio frequencies of 3-40,000Hz and have a closed-back design that blocks outside noise for a better listening experience. These Sony noise-canceling headphones sit comfortably behind the neck and work with or without the 1m wire.

Can I use to headphone while charging it?

No, pressing/holding the button doesn't do anything while it's charging.

How difference between this product and Samsung - Galaxy S7 edge 32GB (Unlocked) - Gold Platinum?? Both of all can work with At&t prepaid and internationally? I will leave US around 4 months. So i worry about it if i would pay almost $800

Gold one works only for GSM while the new silver one works with every carrier including Verizon and Sprint that use CDMA towers. For your needs both would work fine.

Does the phone come in other colors beside silver?

It does but this is a test run of fully unlocked so it only comes in silver if you want it to work with all carriers.
