Simple Review:
For what it does and how much it costs I personally wouldn't recommend this product.
Extended Review:
Unboxing this little guy gets straight to the point. The camera up front with the necessary cable to charge it. Google's presentation is always simple but done in a beautiful way.
Past that we get to performance and this is the hard part. Google only promises 3 hours of battery life which if your going to out this on I'd assume it would be nice to have at least 8 hours....you know a full days usage. I felt like it died closer to the 2 hour mark which if I use it for a party or something that only lasts two hours than maybe. The pictures/videos were just okay quality. My phone can do better of course but not only that for some reason they didn't do a wider angle lens to get more in the shot. Just a thought for the next iteration.
To wrap up it's a fun idea and I'm sure it's going to be a great product in the future. As it sits now it's not ready for the lime life.

Noise Cancelation in a small package.
on May 26, 2018

Simple Review:
For what it's amazing to do which is be a lightweight headset with noise cancelation, I would easily recommend this to friends and family.
Extended Review:
Starting with what you get in the box...pretty plain jane. Unit, charging cable and that's about it. What I wasn't a fan of is that we still have mice USB cable chargers. It should be USB C for the money but small gripe.
Performance is where this baby shines. Sound is good out if the box but once you customize it with the app so much better. For me it does lose a star that it didn't sound amazing out of the box. Treble was ear bleeding high but a little tweak in the app goes a long way. Battery life was great getting about 10 hours with noise canceling off but if you turn it on a bit under that 6 hour mark. So it might not do a whole plane ride depending on where your going but you can find ways to make it work for you.
It's a good headset, even a great one, for the money I dont think I would tell someone not to get it. I feel it's easily worth the price and I hope my review helps you decide on making that purchase. Thanks

Simple Review: For what you get it's not a bad little guy if you are using it for it's very designed for purpose. Streaming.
Extended Review: Starting off with the unboxing experience I was a little excited. The packaging and look of the device gave a quality feel but once you open it up you realize maybe not the best build quality. Don't get me wrong they put in one metal bracket which gives that old timey radio authentic feel but everything else is cheap feeling plastic. I do appreciate the adapter for the base incase I needed it even though I personally didn't. Last thing I didn't like in this category was the mini-usb charging cable.....REALLY! We are on USB-C or I would have given less fuss over micro-usb but mini-usb is just insulting and should be a dead cable.
Performance to start this off I want to make sure your aware I tried this on my PC, laptop and PS4. PC and laptop handled it like a champ and it made since for the design of it. This is why I brought up earlier if your using it for it's intended purpose than it should do just fine. Once you hit the PS4 well I don't know many gamers, me including, that have a setup that could have this close enough or comfortable enough to me while I'm playing. That unfortunately wasn't my main issue. While the PC and laptop didn't need to learn anything and was very plug and play. The PS4 I plugged in and it said it was good but never worked. I ended up having to pull out the instructions to see if it was something I was doing and well I was unsuccessful. Besides that audio quality was good with nobody complaining about hearing me and I felt like I could be a comfortable distance from the mic.
Wrapping this all up I think it's a good product for a very specific need and I know some might think yeah duh but to me why would I spend almost a $100 for something a headset for $150 could do too with more functionality. Enhancing the experience is the point and I feel like this one fell a bit short.
I hope this review helped you and thank you for taking the time to read it. Thanks

Brand new quality product with old traditions...
on April 23, 2018

Simple Review: If your a fan of small devices its one of the best choices you can get. Definitely has some drawbacks so keep an open mind.
Long Review: Starting off unboxing this unit is what you come to expect. USB C charging cable with wall plug, the phone and sim ejector.
The look and feel of this little device is not terrible but just ok. It's made to be a premium device but the back feels like cheap plastic which I'm not a fan of. Personally though my biggest gripe is software. So much bloatware and when j say bloatware I mean Applications you cannot uninstall or remove. There is even as in the software update screen. Its preloaded with trailers to Sony movies. It's a bit ridiculous especially since this is a unlocked phone and they tend to be the cleaner choice to carrier options.
Performance wise was good in most categories except call quality. I'm using AT&T service here in the states and had complaints about static or talking underwater or in a tube. The last complaint is sound quality on the speakers. It feels like the equalizer needs to be played with badly so out of the box it's just too much. It is zippy so it feels incredibly fast and has a battery that even though its smaller can survive a full days usage from my tests.
So to wrap up while this is a powerful little phone for people who don't like the giant phone trend. It's not something I would recommend unless size is all that matters to you.
I hope this review helped a little bit in your purchase decision. Thanks for taking the time to read it.

Depends on your Needs

Simple Review: If you care more about security than you do performance than I would say this is the router for you.
Non-Simple Review: Starting off with the unboxing experience it's nice for what you get. Feels like opening up a premium unit which for the price it should. It provides quality cables and the best part is long enough cables to do anything you should need. The unit isn't crazy big which is appreciated and while most routers will be covered in lights that will keep you up this one has just a little ring of light on the base of the unit. Not too bad Norton not too bad.
My gripes come down into performance. It's not a terrible unit but when the router tells you that it's recieving 276mbs and you test it on your devices and you get an average of 10....something is wrong. I tried messing with it and getting some basic support but honestly you shouldn't need to have to do this. The setup was atleast fast and easy which is always appreciated so if you are afraid to hook up stuff like this please don't be on this unit.
Wrapping it up it's the protection. They make it seems like your getting so many features like the app usage. To be fair other routers in this prize category give you this so not a huge feature. Security is appreciated and feeling more protected by a number or safety score the unit gives you is appreciated. The monthly cost of this is not. If it asked about half of what it's asking for a month I'd probably be open to it as it would match what you usually have to spend on internet security anyways but it's hard to recommend it at that cost.
As mentioned above if you care only about security than this could be your favorite one package fits all feel. I feel like for it's cost you could get better security and a better router than what this offers.
I hope this review helps and thank you for reading it.

Sound that Shakes
on March 28, 2018
Posted by: AverageConsumer
from Arizona
Simple Review: The sound on this speaker is amazing and the fun feature of the colors is amazing to the beat. One issue that I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt to but still wish it wasn't there. Is the fact that you have one of those proprietary cables instead of a USB C or Micro-USB like on the models below this one.
Extended Review: Let's blast through the unboxing that includes the very generic massive unit which is clearly built well and designed to survive the moisture of my world. One issue I had above and continue to have here is the circler connection which means you can't just use any charger you need this annoying cable which is less likely to be found anywhere you go. I'm sure Sony had some charging problems that require this cable but still don't like that the model below this one uses a basic USB and this one doesn't.
Performance is where you will look at that one little complaint and say "I don't care!" The sound is amazing, the bass is strong and it keeps it's clarity no matter the volume level. This is the speaker I grab whenever I want to entertain or just close my eyes and let the music take me. Sound is simply the best I've ever heard in a speaker at this cost point. It's on-par of a speaker I have that's TWICE it's cost. Last thing for performance is battery life, which it does have USB ports on the back to charge up units on the go so if that matters to you than enjoy. I have been using it now for about a week and I haven't had to charge it yet. I use it for 2-3 hours in the morning and at night and still haven't killed it. Battery life is solid without really have to go to in-depth with it.
Wrapping up is this worth it...YESS a thousand times Yes! It's so close to a perfect 5 star it's sad. Once they change out that awful port than it would be the perfect Bluetooth speaker but until than I would say it's easily worth the money.
Hope my review helps and thanks for reading it.

Portable Projector...not bad
on March 20, 2018
Posted by: AverageConsumer

Simple Review: This is a great projector for doing little presentations and if you have a similar situation needed than it's a great projector for you.
UN-Simple Review: I enjoy getting things included in the box. First getting the cables like VGA and even a carrying case are small addons yes... but it shows the company is going a little above and beyond which I appreciate. I wish they provided an HDMI but small issue on an overall great experience so far.
Performance is good for low lit rooms so if you cant darken the area or doing it in a store enviroment than it can be a little bit tricky. Though I'm just using this on a wall most of the time with nothing else and it easily takes care of my needs here. One little gripe I have and it's a small one is about the upside down HDMI port. Some of my HDMI cables are those hard to turn kind and this can be annoying when your trying to plug in your laptop or other source to it. If you are hoping to use this as a home theater projector I would say maybe at night you could get away with it. Don't be expecting any crazy screen quality just good quality which is amazing when you compare how small it is.
Overall its a great little portable projector for a buisness need or I would even go as far as a little projector in a bedroom.

Sony Sound is Sweet!
on March 20, 2018
Posted by: AverageConsumer
from Arizona
Simple Review: This is an amazing little speaker with advantages like water resistance and a light show that sets it apart from a lot of other brands. It's best feature though, which also happens to be the most important, is all about that sound!
UN-Simple Review: Starting with the unboxing experience your not surprised but it's not below expectations. Sony is kind of known for getting straight to the point but simple packaging and enough padding to keep the unit safe/secure. You do get a small charging cable which I never appreciate and that's pretty much it.
Once you get to performance is where this speaker shines. Any speaker can be loud but this speaker has deep enough bass for those gritty songs. Also, has that clarity so you don't feel the need to crank it to max to enjoy it. I have many Bluetooth speakers at this price range and I promise you this is the one to buy. We get to battery life and I'm pleased to tell you it's great. 24 hours is what it quotes on the box though I found myself enjoying it for 2 hours more than that. Sounds + Battery Life + Water Resistance makes this speaker a win. One thing that I though I would like but ended up turning off later was the light show. I just didn't think it attached itself well to the beat so it was more distracting than appealing to me.
Wrapping up this speaker is easily worth the cost. I would recommend this to you, your family... I myself am even going to the store to purchase another one to pair them together to get a stereo effect. Hope this helped you in your purchasing decision and thanks for reading my review.

I wanted to like this...
on February 26, 2018
Posted by: AverageConsumer

To start off let's head to the unboxing experience. It is a lot smaller than you think it's going to be being able to fit in the palm of my hand which was a benefit when it came to installation. You have to use there own micro-usb vehicle charger which is a complete all in one system which I wasn't a fan of because I already have usb ports in my car and other car chargers.
Installation is where most people will be annoyed. I tried to hide mine by making little holes to funnel the cable under my dash but I didn't like the fact that it used micro-usb because when i found the perfect spot i wanted it looked funny because the cable only goes one way. This means I have a bit of a loop going in the opposite direction which is a minor problem but I expect more for something at this price level.
When you jump into the app this is where I disliked the most. First, you can't just view live feed the camera has to change what time of connection mode it is EVERY TIME when you go in and out of gallery to get to live mode. Second, you got a voice activated Garmin so you can ask it to take you places right....WRONG it will inform you that you must use the app to input your searches. To answer your question yes I went to Alexa's skills to see exactly how you need to say it to Alexa and still nothing. Last thing I want to say and the reason why I do not recommend this product is the BEEPS. You need to find Garmin's perfect spot in your car because if you are even slightly off it will beep at EVERYTHING. When it thinks there is a car in front of you but there isn't BEEP. When it thinks your switching lanes when your not BEEP.
I wanted to like this to prove that point I have holes now around my car for something that I am uninstalling today. I'm annoyed and my recommendation is to simply wait for the next one.
Alexa, ask Garmin to take me to "ADDRESS".
Alexa responds: I'm sorry but you must use the Alexa app to input the address.

So close to perfection...
on December 11, 2017

Let's start with first impressions or the unboxing experience. Simply put they did good with extra plastic and even a little fiber layer that covered the keyboard. Favorite part here for me was the charging cable giving a two piece attachment like most laptops but this one connects a little more elegantly which I appreciated.
One past that you life it out of the box and go this is kind of heavy. I might be spoiled with laptops that use solid state which makes them incredibly light and fast. Booting up is where you really feel the hard drive speed instead of solid state. Taking a minute or two to fully boot. Past that performance is great with this laptop able to handle all of my games at their highest specs with zero lag. Sound is another amazing thing here with those Bang & Olufsen speakers that are crazy loud and clear. Very immersive sound which is only brought down with an okay keyboard experience. Everything feels condensed which made it hard to use the direction arrows because they are crazy tiny on this keyboard. For those who use those keys religiously will understand that this will make some things difficult.
Final thoughts are for what you get for the price it's hard to say this isn't a good laptop. I hope that this helps whoever is looking at it and thank you for reading my review.

I know it's just a sound bar! But a 1500 dollar soundbar! Sounds great until u crank it up! Sub totally distorts! I would expect a lot more from Bose and especially for $1500!! For that amount u wud be better off getting a whole surround system with a larger more powerful sub!! Skip this one! Sorry Bose!

sounds just like LG soundbar, wall mount extra $50
By gadgetnerd1 from VA
Before buying this soundbar, I visited the BestBuy store and tried out about 10 different brands/models. I needed a soundbar with wireless subwoofer. I read reviews on different websites. Most wireless subwoofers interrupted the WiFi, or were really big. I picked Bose because it sounded excellent in store (other soundbars were connected using stereo cables or were non functional).
Setting it up was very easy. I did the audio calibration, which in my opinion did not make any difference to the audio quality. I watched some action scenes from the Bourne movies and Matrix but it didn't sound as great as it did in the store.
Then as I proceeded to do a wall mount, I realized that I had to buy a mount separately. Seriously Bose? You couldn't make keyholes in the base like every other soundbar has? I have ordered it online and waiting to get it delivered. It's like buying a $500 printer, taking it home and realizing that they did not include the $2 USB cable.

Listen to it yourself because this review is wrong
October 2, 2012
I agree with you that the fact you have to buy a 50 dollar mount is ridiculous but how dare you say that it's the same quality as that poorly constructed Lg sound-bar. It cracks at even mid range volume and it only has bass if you can get that subwoofer to pair which it tends to disconnect on its own. Everyone reading this go buy the Bose 1 SR I guarantee that you will not want to give it up and if you need more convincing think of this have you ever seen a open or used Bose for sale at a Best Buy? Never returned!

Needs work
By guardLK from Selinsgrove
I returned my entire Samsung Radiant set and replaced them with one of every sonos speaker. The sonos sound MUCH better, dont distort like the samsungs did, the software works better. These samsung radiant speakers sound good at low volume, but once they go over about 60% they start to distort, the bass drops off and they sound hallow. With the sonos bridge, it creates its own network for the speakers that wont choke up my WiFi. I had problems with these speakers staying connected if i had more than two on at a time. There is no competing product like the sonos bridge/boost. These are samsungs second attempt at around the house speakers, and they are better than gen 1, but still need quite a bit of work all around. Overall, Sonos still owns the home speaker market.
One thing thats great about the R5 (that the rest of the Radiant series doesnt have) is that it can connect wirelessly to any newer Samsung tv. Use the TV Connect option in the samsung app on your phone to connect the two, and thats it. So if you ARENT interested in a whole home set up, but maybe just looking for a bass boost on your tv setup without breaking the bank, this is a good place to look.

I agree with the other commenter, I own 2 of the Samsung Radiant R7's in my living room and they are nothing short of breath taking. The audio is flawless at any volume but I came on the reviews for this one to see if was just as good or if I should just spend the money on more R7's. After reading this review I found it to be Sonos Advertisement-y to be a real person so I'm just going to pick one up tomorrow from Best Buy and I'll post my review. So I guess thanks for your review I'm sold!

Mixed
By Mike10
So far I find it ok, having had its predecessor. I'll Pro/Con it below:
Pro:
-more comfortable than the Gear Fit 1
-much quicker responsiveness than its predecessor when pressing options
-the motion trigger to turn the watch face on seems accurate
-compatible and working with Nexus 6p (good sign that it works with other Android phones with Android 4.4 and after as they claim)
-quick setup but the navigation is harder to grasp than the Gear Fit 1 (at least to me)
-improved heart rate monitor allows intermittent testing (something tantamount to every hour)
Con:
-no obvious way to turn the screen off after it triggers on (you have to wait until it fades to off at one of the preset intervals)
-the watch faces look ugly and there aren't that many to choose from
-the stair counter isn't very accurate
-why have and claim mp3 player for this when all it is is really a small flash drive seeing as how it has no speaker unto itself or headphone jack to issue any music
-The initial declines in the battery make me doubt the battery life claims (it loses %s to fast)
-Notifications are not displayed well (very easy to accidentally block the app which sent the message when you in fact only wanted to close the notification or reply)
I'll conclude by saying the like the idea of this Gear Fit product as I did its predecessor but I'd pay more for better. I tried Moto 360 and others and didn't like them. I wish Samsung would stop restricting the better Gear products and allow them to work with non-Samsung phones. I guess I could just buy into Samsung's phone lines but I don't want to.

Agree to disagree
June 11, 2016
I agree with most if your review as I was an owner of the original Gear Fit myself but a couple of things come to mind. First, you can have the display go off by simply covering the screen. Lastly, the music player function might not be for you but is a welcomed feature in my book. If you go for a run and don't want to take your phone you can just take a pair of Bluetooth headphones and your gear. Other than that good review.

How do I clean this case if I got a stain on it .

The way I clean mine is remove it from the phone and than just run it under a sink while rubbing everything off. As long as you dont use chemicals you should be fine.

Enjoy your favorite music through these Sony Sports wireless noise-cancelling headphones. The in-ear design ensures a snug fit, so you can jog or walk without missing a beat, and the wireless format eliminates the need for cumbersome cords. The Ambient Sound Mode on these Sony Sports wireless noise-cancelling headphones keeps you alert to your environment.

Two questions: First, 6 hours battery life for listening time? Second, Can you turn off the noise canceling to increase battery life in-between charges?

Yes and with the ambient noise turned off which is just a little button on the headset you can get about 4 more hours of battery life in my experience.

How difference between this product and Samsung - Galaxy S7 edge 32GB (Unlocked) - Gold Platinum?? Both of all can work with At&t prepaid and internationally? I will leave US around 4 months. So i worry about it if i would pay almost $800

Gold one works only for GSM while the new silver one works with every carrier including Verizon and Sprint that use CDMA towers. For your needs both would work fine.
