It's almost an impossible mission to keep a movie series fresh, and topping previous entries in the series is a daunting task. Somehow, Mission Impossible keeps doing it. I learned that Cruise wants a different director each time, which may have something to do with it. Whatever the reason, this is one you want!
This superhero drama follows Central City forensic scientist Barry Allen (Grant Gustin), who is given the power to move at lightning-quick speeds after a freak accident at a particle accelerator facility. As a man who has always had a propensity for helping others and doing good deeds, Allen uses his newfound gifts to fight crime and evildoers.
I wasn't sure if I was going to like this when I bought it, but now I can't wait for the next season. It has very enjoyable characters, story lines, and special effects. For all you super-hero fans, this is a keeper!
I'm so glad I decided to get the deluxe version of this. The added blu-ray of videos was priceless. As a big Beatles fan, this is something I've been waiting for for a long time. A must-have!
I have had mixed feelings about the 3D rendering of movies, but I thought it was well done on this one. Lots of action, enjoyable characters, and the 3D make this a welcome addition to my collection!
I'm not sure why, but it seems the animated features do a better job with the 3D. It could be that the fact that it is all done on computer allows them to manipulate the different parts of the screen more easily. That said, this is a fun movie for the whole family, and the 3D just adds to the fun!
