A "Killer" router!

The Linksys - WRT32X AC3200 Dual-Band Wi-Fi Gaming Router with Killer Prioritization Engine was very easy and very fast to install and setup. It only took about 5 minutes – I used their included tri-fold instruction brochure to guide me. Their packaging was both great looking and functional. The WRT32X comes in near the high-end price routers and has features to justify that price. One of the most notable features is Rivet Network's Killer Prioritization Engine (KPE) that will elegantly analyze and prioritize your data for both gaming and video streaming. “Killer” wireless 1535 card prioritization is designed to work with several of the new gaming laptops to decrease ping times, lower latency and reduce lag increasing responsiveness automatically. Using a “Killer” enhanced laptop with the WRT32X, it seemed about twice as fast as using a non-killer enhanced router. Killer's Control Center software lets users prioritize data packets by app and services, optimizing packet grouping for game or video streams, over background tasks, file downloads, or other less important functions. Dual Core, 1.8GHz Processor, Advanced Ethernet Switching, Tri-Stream 160, MU-MIMO, DFS Certified, Beamforming, and Optimized Packet Aggregation make for a great router experience. It is a superb gaming router – highly configurable / customizable but should also function well as a primary router for any household.

The Bissell 2151 Multi-Reach Cordless Vacuum is reliable, convenient, and an overall efficient tool for cleaning both home and vehicle. It helps avoid things like having to bending over to reach remote spots. Its LED lighting ensures good visibility of areas to be cleaned. It has a short run-time of around twenty minutes – great for touch-ups but short for whole house cleaning. Like most vacuums of this style its dirt cup / dust bin is rather small and may need to be emptied frequently. It does not come with a wall hanger making storage a little clumsy. It looks nice and functions well with good suction while still being very light.

The HP ENVY Photo 6255 All-in-One Printer is a moderately priced printer that provides consistently good printouts whether text on plain paper or photos on photographic paper. Setup was made super easy by following the included detailed graphic instructions. I first set it up to print from an iPhone and a Pixel XL – it worked flawlessly. I have since set it up to print from Mac OS X, Windows 10 and the internet. It is fast and easy to use while still delivering high resolution high quality images. If you need mostly photo printing it is very nice and also does a fine job of handling limited faxing, scanning and copying (read single sheet). It has a reasonably small footprint making it easy to find a place to put it. Ink cartridges promise to be simple by using HP’s HP Instant Ink.

Great Sound Bar none

The LG - 4.1-Channel Hi-Res Soundbar System with Wireless Subwoofer and Digital Amplifier is a very well-crafted soundbar system that has a very low profile and nice visual style (and amazingly) without sacrificing audio quality. The quality of construction is very good and substantial. This bar was extremely easy to set-up and install. At about an inch and a half in height and several inches in depth it adds to the audio environment without cluttering the visual environment. The controls allow good well-tailored access to audio quality settings through the LG app. The included sub-woofer drives clean crisp bass. The audio volume is able to blast the aural spectrum from clean highs to strong bass, enough to be able to cover a large room. The installation was simple and fast. With enough modes to aid in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and wired connections it is well suited to a myriad of spaces. This 4K high resolution audio ultra-slim soundbar lets you hear the action in every scene from subtle to ear shattering. It is easily accommodated by not only LG TVs but has multiple types of mounting hardware included for other installations. It has Chromecast and more built-In.
Although small I would like to be able to disappear or at least dim the status indicator.
Easy install and setup plus good style and sound make it a solid buy.

The Philips Viva Hot Air Fryer is a kitchen appliance that does more than just grill or bake - it fries, bakes, grills and roasts food and it does all four styles of cooking well. I tried frozen crinkle cut French fries first. I cooked them at the long side of recommended times and was rewarded with perfect fries that were tender in the middle and crisp on the outside for a satisfyingly good crunch. All the foods followed this to perfection.
It uses up the counter space of about two standard size facial tissue boxes placed side by side. It should fit most counters easily. Clean-up has been simple, easy and fast. Wipe and place in dishwasher – comes out perfectly clean. It will cook enough food for serving up to 4 people per dish in most cases. Power consumption should be less than using a stove top or oven. It is attractively designed and well engineered and built. It uses little or no oil (read healthy but tasty). Foods were evenly cooked throughout. This Airfryer is as good as the advertising says it is - a great multi-use, compact and easy to use appliance!

A novel neckband design with two ways to wear. You can use the retractable cables to use the in-ear headphones, or you can use speaker mode with the external (neckband encased) speakers (which can be disruptive to others). This audio device looks somewhat like a horse collar but also is stylish. The band is part flexible easy to put on or take off and is comfortable to wear although not great for my work outs. The wired earbuds are retractable. When not in use, they retract inside the neckband. It has reasonable controls for audio / phone functions. The audio is not as robust as I would like due to its having subdued base. The system is designed to give you a 360-degree immersive aural experience. The earbuds are able to provide a better experience (but they come with a warning to be careful with the thin cables). You can share music with a person that that has a pair of these (not tested). The unit emulates deep bass through haptics, vibrating the speakers on the neckband. The battery life is excellent 6 hrs. speaker mode / 35 or so hrs. earbud mode. I would like to see them rated for water / dust intrusion. Great concept, Great features, mediocre execution.

Very easy mesh network setup

First – this was the fastest (under 10 minutes) and easiest mesh setup I have experienced to date. I downloaded the Connect app and followed the easy to understand instructions.
Second - The Samsung Connect Home 3-Pack Mesh Wi-Fi System is designed to be the hub of your smart home. It combines a Wi-Fi router for data and a SmartThings hub Wi-Fi for data, and Bluetooth 4.1, Zigbee and Z-Wave for wireless control of your compatible home automation devices. all in one. This allows you to manage your Wi-Fi and all your smart devices from the Samsung Connect app. A smart router – Connect Home’s smart home hub functionality allows you to connect compatible thermostats, cameras, lights, voice assistants, and more to control your home from your phone, tablet or voice (think Alexa) Plus it updates automatically.
