Nice Photo Printer

The HP ENVY Photo 6255 All-in-One Printer is a moderately priced printer that provides consistently good printouts whether text on plain paper or photos on photographic paper. Setup was made super easy by following the included detailed graphic instructions. I first set it up to print from an iPhone and a Pixel XL – it worked flawlessly. I have since set it up to print from Mac OS X, Windows 10 and the internet. It is fast and easy to use while still delivering high resolution high quality images. If you need mostly photo printing it is very nice and also does a fine job of handling limited faxing, scanning and copying (read single sheet). It has a reasonably small footprint making it easy to find a place to put it. Ink cartridges promise to be simple by using HP’s HP Instant Ink.

The LG - 4.1-Channel Hi-Res Soundbar System with Wireless Subwoofer and Digital Amplifier is a very well-crafted soundbar system that has a very low profile and nice visual style (and amazingly) without sacrificing audio quality. The quality of construction is very good and substantial. This bar was extremely easy to set-up and install. At about an inch and a half in height and several inches in depth it adds to the audio environment without cluttering the visual environment. The controls allow good well-tailored access to audio quality settings through the LG app. The included sub-woofer drives clean crisp bass. The audio volume is able to blast the aural spectrum from clean highs to strong bass, enough to be able to cover a large room. The installation was simple and fast. With enough modes to aid in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and wired connections it is well suited to a myriad of spaces. This 4K high resolution audio ultra-slim soundbar lets you hear the action in every scene from subtle to ear shattering. It is easily accommodated by not only LG TVs but has multiple types of mounting hardware included for other installations. It has Chromecast and more built-In.
Although small I would like to be able to disappear or at least dim the status indicator.
Easy install and setup plus good style and sound make it a solid buy.

The Philips Viva Hot Air Fryer is a kitchen appliance that does more than just grill or bake - it fries, bakes, grills and roasts food and it does all four styles of cooking well. I tried frozen crinkle cut French fries first. I cooked them at the long side of recommended times and was rewarded with perfect fries that were tender in the middle and crisp on the outside for a satisfyingly good crunch. All the foods followed this to perfection.
It uses up the counter space of about two standard size facial tissue boxes placed side by side. It should fit most counters easily. Clean-up has been simple, easy and fast. Wipe and place in dishwasher – comes out perfectly clean. It will cook enough food for serving up to 4 people per dish in most cases. Power consumption should be less than using a stove top or oven. It is attractively designed and well engineered and built. It uses little or no oil (read healthy but tasty). Foods were evenly cooked throughout. This Airfryer is as good as the advertising says it is - a great multi-use, compact and easy to use appliance!

A novel neckband design with two ways to wear. You can use the retractable cables to use the in-ear headphones, or you can use speaker mode with the external (neckband encased) speakers (which can be disruptive to others). This audio device looks somewhat like a horse collar but also is stylish. The band is part flexible easy to put on or take off and is comfortable to wear although not great for my work outs. The wired earbuds are retractable. When not in use, they retract inside the neckband. It has reasonable controls for audio / phone functions. The audio is not as robust as I would like due to its having subdued base. The system is designed to give you a 360-degree immersive aural experience. The earbuds are able to provide a better experience (but they come with a warning to be careful with the thin cables). You can share music with a person that that has a pair of these (not tested). The unit emulates deep bass through haptics, vibrating the speakers on the neckband. The battery life is excellent 6 hrs. speaker mode / 35 or so hrs. earbud mode. I would like to see them rated for water / dust intrusion. Great concept, Great features, mediocre execution.

Very easy mesh network setup

First – this was the fastest (under 10 minutes) and easiest mesh setup I have experienced to date. I downloaded the Connect app and followed the easy to understand instructions.
Second - The Samsung Connect Home 3-Pack Mesh Wi-Fi System is designed to be the hub of your smart home. It combines a Wi-Fi router for data and a SmartThings hub Wi-Fi for data, and Bluetooth 4.1, Zigbee and Z-Wave for wireless control of your compatible home automation devices. all in one. This allows you to manage your Wi-Fi and all your smart devices from the Samsung Connect app. A smart router – Connect Home’s smart home hub functionality allows you to connect compatible thermostats, cameras, lights, voice assistants, and more to control your home from your phone, tablet or voice (think Alexa) Plus it updates automatically. It covers up to 4,500 sq ft. Very impressive.

Set up of the Samsung - POWERbot R7040 App-Controlled Self-Charging Robot Vacuum was easy. It took about ten minutes to unpack, read instructions and set-up. I used the included remote control to start it’s first sweep. It does a great job on both hardwood and carpet without human intervention. It is superb around furniture and other obstacles including corners. It navigated multiple rooms and mated with it’s base automatically to recharge. Very cool!
After an initial sweep, it has an adequately sized dust bin for my location (under 2,000 square feet). If it needs to recharge during a session it will resume cleaning when fully recharged.

To be a total solution for me it needs to handle the fringe / tassels of Oriental rugs (they jam now).
I hope to be able to use the Samsung Connect Home 3-Pack to manage the POWERbot.

Cool yet tough functional styling with respectable portable sound quality providing clean strong highs, mids and bass. It floats (waterproof and submersible to 3.3 ft. and has a waterproof dry-box (2” x 4.75” x .25”) for keys etc. plus it is drop-proof to about 4 ft. making it a superb outdoor speaker. The AQ10 is easily portable coming in with a weight under one and three-quarter pounds. Delivering up to 13 hours of battery life, it is great for outdoor events. Having dual front facing drivers and passive radiators it is able to reach 94 decibels (dB) with no discernable distortion while playing a high-quality track. A built-in microphone is provided for mobile-phone speakerphone capability. The AQ10 can also be used to charge a phone or use a patch cord for a physical connection to another audio source. Coming with Bluetooth 4.2 it is power efficient, pairs with up to 8 devices and reliably provides a consistent stream of audio. All of the controls are easy to use. The speaker shape has handles that are handy and a square x rectangular shape that will prevent it from rolling or sliding under most circumstances. Make sure you close the port and lid hatch covers before exposure to the elements. I would like to have USB charging available although I believe the 12-volt power source allows for faster charging.

Beautiful styling, very durable long-lasting construction and great sound! These foldable, over the ear headphones with tactile controls are fantastic. They are quite comfortable, even when I wear glasses over extended periods of time. The style is modern yet timeless, using premium luxury leathers; rich cowhide for the headband – soft lamb for the ear pads. The component materials are all high quality stainless steel and other durable premium materials with perfect fit and finish. The sound is very natural with great detailed highs, mids and solid base providing a rich, warm sound with superb noise isolation, maintaining the perfect equilibrium of aesthetics, durability, comfort and functionality. When used with a player’s equalizer they handled a broad selection of musical genres with perfection. The custom antenna combined with Bluetooth 4.1 and Qualcomm® aptX™ with multi-device connection capability provide best in class quality, connectivity and range. Battery life is above average, easily accommodating a full day of pure listening pleasure. Parts like ear-pads are easily replaceable and available on their web site. The Linksys MAX-STREAM AC4100 Tri-Band Router (EA9300) was very easy to install. Unpacking and setup required less than 15 minutes including a firmware update. I read and followed the easily understandable instructions. I then configured the Linksys MAX-STREAM AC4100 Tri-Band Router (EA9300) using the Linksys Smart Wi-Fi software. Ideal for multiple connected devices, this router provides ample bandwidth for simultaneous 4K and HD video streaming(my wife and I both watched different HD videos at the same time), online gaming, and other data-heavy uses. Three dedicated bands minimize lag when multiple devices are connected, delivering speeds of up to 600 Mbps (2.4 GHz) + 1667 Mbps (5 GHz) + 1667 Mbps (5 GHz). Applications are routed based on bandwidth needs. I was able to prioritize my attached devices, allocating bandwidth where needed. I have consistent connections. I installed this router in a very electronic “noisy” area with over 30 networks visible at any given point in time. The centrally located router reaches the entire location with no dead spots. Easy install, great build quality, good technical specs, great performance and great management software. The technical specs are cutting edge for this range of routers at this time.
