I have had just a few days to try out this new 2021 Elements and Premiere Elements. My last version of these was Elements 2018 and Premiere Elements 2019.
There ave been no major changes in the UI so both are familiar and did not take any time to get used to.
As for Premiere Elements, I use it to put together short videos of mostly family events to share with other family members. As always the videos are easy to import, edit and share. Premiere Elements is a fantastic program to use if you don't want to pay for a subscription from Adobe. The possibilities are really limited to only your imagination, and you can easily put together a show that will dazzle and impress your friends and family. I always recommend Adobe Elements and the 2021 version is no exception. There is simply no other editing software that can perform like Premiere Elements.
As for Elements 2021, this along with Capture One are my go to editing programs. Again no subscription required for Elements and it is a very powerful editing software. I have been using elements for several years and have never had a need or desire to go with Adobe's subscription format. Elements is good enough for anyone to the beginning or advanced photographer. As with Premiere Elements, Elements is easy to use. Improting, editing and sharing photos is a breeze, as is editing RAW or JPEG's. Of course it is much more powerful for RAW editing, but you can produce some very good JPEG's as well.
Juts today I took delivery of the new iPhone 12 Pro Max and was hoping to see if Elements is compatible with Apple's ne ProRAW, but just haven't had the time yet. I will play with it later and see.

Fantastic, with one frustrating issue

This is by far my favorite way to stream and view content. I received the Epson projector yesterday and have had it on pretty much non stop since. It was bigger than I anticipated, but no issue there. The one issue I did have was with the remote. After unboxing and setting up the projector, the Bluetooth remote set up was next, this is where the issues started. I get a prompt to pair the remote with the projector by pressing and holding the Home and Enter buttons at the same time. I did this and the remote would not go into pairing mode. I tried over and over, still no pairing mode. I tried 5 different sets of AAA batteries, same result, no pairing. I tried resetting the projector and starting trying to pair again. Still nothing. I worked on this for over two hours, went online, read the manual, tried again and still not pairing. The issues is, the remote is only partially functional with out being paired via Bluetooth. I tried to call customer service but it was after hours and I was unable to reach them. I finally just walked away and decided to call CS again during business hours.
I decided to try again after waiting for about another hour. This time, I reset the unit and started all over again. This time when I got the remote pairing prompt, I pressed the Home and Enter buttons and once again it would not pair. I tried several more times and finally it went into pairing mode and paired wit the projector. The pairing took over three hours, which is unacceptable for a $2000 item.
After the remote was paired I connected my Cable box and and was blown away by the picture, the Yamaha speakers, and the overall quality of the experience. I streamed several different shows, from football, to a TSO concert. The sound and picture are amazing. I have it set up to project an 80" picture and I can say that football is incredible and larger than life. The TSO show was just incredible, the colors and the sound were just so awesome.

I love the fact that this is a short project unit and it can be set up close to the screen or wall you project to. Mine is set up about 3 feet from the screen and the picture is crisp and not distorted in any way. You will most likely have to fine tune focus which is easy and done with a lever on the right side.

Ive really needed an car charger for some time now and when the chance to try this came along it was just what I needed. I am on the road for work everyday and need a reliable way to keep my Samsung Note 10+ and Galaxy Tab charged for the day for work. This dual charger has worked flawlessly. My phone charges quickly and stays charged. I use Google Maps to get from place to place, plus I have music or podcasts going while I am driving. The Belkin does the trick and keeps me powered all day long.
I am very happy with this charger and would highly recommend it to anyone who needs a reliable to keep their devices charged while in their vehicle.

Great sound with a couple of serious issues

I've been using these for several days now and have to say the sound is fantastic. I would say these sound better than any other wireless buds I've ever used. They have a deep rich sound, deep bass, smooth mid tones, and clear highs.
The buds come with a charging case which claims to give 20 hours of play time. The buds will last about five hours before needing recharging and the case will give 4 charges, so this seems to be accurate. Pairing was ultra simple, just press the button on the back of the charging case and without removing the buds it goes into pairing mode. These paired with my Samsung Note 10+ with no issues. The buds are controlled by touch on the right or left bud, the touch controls are good and have worked as stated. There is no volume control on the buds, but this is not an issue for me.
My first issue is the noise cancelling feature. A long press on the right or left side put you in and out of noise cancelling, two beeps for NC and one to turn off NC. What I am finding is that I cant tell any difference between when NC is on or off. I still hear ambient sounds at the same level whether NC is on or off. Ive tried several different times, even re-paired with my phone, but still no difference. I can tell that it is active, because when I am in my car when NC is off the music sounds very good. When I activate NC I get a loud static from the wind noise which goes away when NC is turned off.
My second issue is these really hurt my ears if inserted for longer than an hour. I've tried all three sizes of of the rubber inserts, and still have the same issue. I've had and used several different wireless earbuds and these are the first ones that have caused ear discomfort. I have ordered some foam inserts to try to see if they make any difference. If they do I'll come back and update this review.

First off I just wanted to say I had an issue powering up the camera. I plugged it in to charge and when charging was completed I tried powering up the unit and it would not power up. It took several tries over two days to get it to finally power up. It now appears to be functioning properly. I have no idea why it would not come on to begin with as I did nothing different than i would normally do. I contact NextBase Customer service and they did get right back to me, but by the time they contacted me the unit was operating as it should. NextBase CS was very responsive and willing to assist.
As far as the camera goes, I am happy with it. Install was easy and took about 20 minutes. Once installed in the vehicle, I downloaded the app and connected the device and got it set up with no issues.
There are many options to choose from when setting up the unit and it will depend on your individual needs to determine how you want to set it up. My needs are a dash cam that is reliable, works well at night and has no issues recording and storing video. This checks all the boxes, the video is clear in daylight and very good after dark. The video is clear enough to read and record the license plates of the vehicles in sight of the camera which for me is a must. I am on the road daily going from job to job and like the security of having a good reliable camera in the event of an accident.
Overall I would highly recommend this camera and applaud the customer service of NextBase.

Very Good Video Doorbell/Security Camera

I used the Eufy to replace an existing Video Doorbell I've used for over a year. So far it is a better all around experience.
Installation was as easy as it gets, again replacing an existing video Doorbell. The only thing different was you have to jump the wires (Jumper Wire Included) on the existing doorbell chimes in your home. Something anyone should be able to easily do. And of course the new chime just plugs into an outlet and you are done installing.
You will need to download and install the Eufy app on your smartphone. Once this was done connecting the phone and doorbell was again simple.
Lots of great features, such as live view and recording, two way audio, and activity zones.
Camera really delivers great video in light and after dark, and not so many false notifications.
This will remain, and the other brand will be relegated to storage in the garage. Overall I really like this Video Doorbell and would recommend it highly.

Very good no complaints

Ive been using the Bose Sleep buds for several nights now. My first impression is that they are very comfortable and sound great. The noise quieting works very well, and I no longer hear my wife snore all night.
First off, the buds are fairly small in size and Ive had no issues with ear discomfort. The sound is very good as well with no issues noted. The buds come in a nice silver colored charger/carrier and the buds arrived at 50% charged. It only took about 45 minutes to an hour for the buds to fully charge. While they were charging I installed the Bose Sleep app from the Play store. After the buds were fully charged, I opened app and paired/connected the Sleep buds and got started just checking out the available sounds. Once paired the buds connect very quickly once removed from the charging case.
There is quite a large selection of sounds from Naturescapes, Noise Masking and Tranquilities. There are 40 different sounds to choose from.
The only complaint I have, is the buds can only be used with the Sleep App and not any other programs. This is just an observation, not a complaint. Although I wish you could use with other music.
For what these buds were designed for, they are terrific and i would recommend them if you just want a nice sleep aid with no other functionality.

I've had a few days to put this system to the test, I really like it. The first thing I noticed is that the unit is a bit bigger than I had pictured, but this is not an issue just an observation. It does have a handle at the top for ease of moving it around to where you need it.
The sound is terrific, crisp highs, clear mids and booming bass, this system doe get loud with no real loss of clarity.
Bluetooth is easy to pair and connect, Sony's LED speaker lights, and the quality of sound make this a system I would highly recommend to anyone.

I have had this back up battery/Surge protector for several days and have found it to work as advertised. The device has 5 battery and surge outlets, two surge outlets and one USB input for charging a phone.
The device is big about the size of a brick and weighs about 2 - 3 lbs.
Upon unpacking the device I plugged it in and attached the yellow battery connector in the back of the unit.
You can program the unit to adjust voltage sensitivity, green red or amber light on the power button, indicating low medium or high sensitivity. I disconnected power and the unit immediately went into the alarm mode, the green light flashing green as it should. All my devices were charging as they normally would. This unit appears to work as advertised and I would recommend it to anyone needing a battery back up and/or a surge protector in case of a power outage.

This is easy to review, this is a very good personal trimmer/groomer. I've used several different brands and all of them have had too many shortcomings to justify purchasing them again.
This Philips groomer does not have any that I have found. There are several attachments to choose from and all work perfectly. The round nose trimming attachment is sharp and does not bog down or worse, rip the hair out of your nose. The eyebrow trimmer with 2 different lengths works great, and the wide trim attachment is good for cleaning up and trimming the back of your neck.
I comes with a decent case for easy carrying when traveling.
I'd certainly recommend this to everyone who needs a personal groomer.

This review only applies to all DSLR users that plans to transition over to the Sony A-series. I bought this camera and returned it the next day. DO NOT buy this camera. It looks good on paper until you've actually tried it. PERIOD!
Pros: price package <$1000 with 2 kit lenses. It has WIFI and NFC capabilities. It is portable and cheap battery availability. Fair pictures and can be compared to point and shoot camera qualities :). The low light quality is fair. If you are a landscape lover - you'll get away with the kit lenses. You can charge the batt via USB connection.
Cons: you'll end up spending more money on the adapter in order for you to use your old lenses or buy buy new e mount lenses. The pictures looks very soft and can't zoom to crop - picture quality is is horrible for a mirrorless camera. A Nikon D3200 can do a lot better job in general (trust me- I did a comparison - wit kit lense). All false claims of fast moving auto focus and fake 24.3 mega pixels. The camera over heats for a period of long usage - and short batt life.

With your assessment of the Sony a6000. Anyone who says the picture quality is comparable to Point & Shoot cameras has never used this camera. First, the Sony sensor is much better than even the best P&S cameras. Second if you are getting poor quality photos from this camera, the problem is not the camera, but most likely a lack of operator experience and knowledge. Photos are razor sharp, and auto focus is one of the best I've used.
I was a Nikon user, DSLR/SLR, for many years and can say from experience that almost nothing the reviewer states is accurate. The Sony system is incredible and I could not be happier that I switched from Nikon.

I received this last week and have had about 6 days to use it. The system arrived well packaged and easy to get out and set up.
Set up took just a few minutes, batteries came fully charged from factory, nice. Package consisted of 2 cameras, 2 batteries, 2 domed mounts, charging cable, charger, base station and quick start instructions. Pairing the cameras with base station was quick and no issues.
I mounted the cameras, downloaded the required app, and was up and running.
Then the problems started, one camera continually disconnected from base station. This required climbing up to where it was mounted and take it down and re-pair it with base station. After the 3rd time I connected NetGear customer service. They emailed me with possible solutions which I tried but did not work. Within 5 minutes the camera had lost connection again. This camera was located about 25 ft from base station, so I ended up moving it closer to base station where it has stayed connected. This is not a good solution because the cameras are now too close together and cannot provide coverage to my entire front of house. I found these cameras lose connection if they are further than 15 feet from base station. This is impractical if you are looking for good coverage of an average house.
The other issue is battery life, I'm only getting about 3-4 days of use before a recharge is needed. Now cameras are mounted near roof which requires me to have to climb to the roof every 3-4 days to recharge.
In conclusion, the system is not reliable enough, will not provide adequate coverage, and battery life is not good enough to be a viable home security camera system.
When the system is working it does what it is designed to do. It just is not reliable enough for me to recommend. Customer service is also a bit slow, and combined with the poor camera system this is not recommended.

Just minutes after posting this review the second camera disconnected from the base station again. At this point I am going to remove the system from my house. It is just not worth the hassle anymore.

I love this Camera and I got the Kit with Sony Bag and Extra Lens 55-210 Zoom , I sold my D5300 Nikon, and this camera blows it away, and with the Sony Play Memories Apps you can get for it, I was able to do Time Lapses that move! Pan, Zoom etc.., and All kinds of other nifty programs you can buy, like Star Trails, Fun! and the Pictures blow my mind! The Kit Lens is Just Awesome, don't let people tell you that they just think every kit lens sucks, go on Facebook and look up the sony A6000 group, over 11,000 members and see their pictures with kit lens, just amazing, most popular Camera out there I believe.. Mirrorless! is the way to go, glad i did not invest in Nikon lenses, but you can buy and adapter and use other brand lenses with this camera!!

Yes there are 3 threaded holes on the bottom of the projector for ceiling mounting. There is also a remote included with it.

Hi, I really want to use this camera for portraits of friends, as well as capturing scenery and buildings. Will this camera be dynamic enough to photograph all beautifully?
It has been for me, the aps-c sensor captures more than enough information for the shooting you want to do. The a6000 Flickr group has many examples of the capabilities of this terrific camera.
