This show is an amazing gem! It puts other documentary shows to shame! And I actually like documentaries! I think it it's brilliant that the actors actually lip-sync to the drunk narrator's words. The hours of extra content that you get in this package definitely make this worth the price. If you have never seen an episode of this, don't mess around with your DVR, blind-buy this. You won't be disappointed!
This collection of Japanese monster movies includes Gamera: The Giant Monster, Gamera vs. Barugon, Gamera vs. Gyaos, Gamera vs. Viras, Gamera vs. Guiron, Gamera vs. Jiger, Gamera vs. Zigra, Gamera: Super Monster, Gamera: Guardian of the Universe, Gamera 2: Attack of Legion, and Gamera 3: Revenge of Iris.
Gamera 1-8 Gamera is like the off-brand version of Godzilla. Despite Gamera looking scary, These movies are about as kid-friendly as the Godzilla movies of the 60's and 70's. I never found the kid-friendly Godzilla movies to be all that great. With that being said, I wasn't too into this series. Though, I found that the gore scenes were pretty amusing, seeing as these came across as kids movies. If you are a fan of the Godzilla movies, from the 60's and 70', I think you owe it to yourself to check this series out too.
Gamera (reboot) 1-3 Gamera is like the off-brand version of Godzilla. Despite that, TOHO, the company that owns the rights to Godzilla, bought the rights to Gamera and came out with this trilogy. I found these Gamera movies to be MUCH better than the original Gamera movie series. If you are a fan of the Godzilla movies, from the 1990's and 2000's, I think you owe it to yourself to check this trilogy out too.
It is great that you can have 11 movies, all in one case, to save space on your movie shelf. However, it's too bad that this set does not include "Gamera the Brave" from 2006.
This extensive release for fans of the kaiju monster Gamera offers a collection of over eleven films about the reptilian beast, including Gamera vs. Barugon, Gamera vs. Gyaos, Gamera: Super Monster, and many more.

Godzilla may be the King of the Monsters, but Gamera is humanity's last hope in this three-film collection featuring Gamera: Guardian of the Universe, Gamera 2: Attack of the Legion, and Gamera 3: Revenge of the Iris.
