Does a good job with about everything.

Our house has a combo of hard and carpeted floors. This Shark Navigator does a good job for both. We have a similar Bissell Cleanview vac, but the Shark is better. The dust/dirt bin is really large and easy to empty. The vac itself is pretty lightweight and easy to move around. It would be nice if it had a light mounted in the front, however. We have a small Pomeranian and he sheds hair when it grows out. This vac has done a good job with pet hair, even pulling it up from the carpeted rooms. Seems to have good power. Overall, good vac in this price range that I would recommend.

Huge fail by Sandisk. Not as good as past versions
on August 7, 2019

First off, the removal of the micro-SD slot is a HUGE fail. I have no idea how people are enjoying the 8GB versions of this player. I had the original Clip, Clip + and Clip Sport players and this latest version, Clip Sport Go, removes the micro-SD card option. The 3.5mm headphone jack is now located on the bottom of the player, where the clip opens up. Worst place to put the headphone jack. Also, this isn't 2009, it's 2019. The fact that they haven't made this player Bluetooth compatible is baffling. I bought a cheap player very similar to the Sandisk Sport Go and it supports Bluetooth very well. This Sport Go player is a big step backwards and still trying to live in the time of a decade ago.

No more cartridges to mess with is a win.

What I want in a printer is for it do do the job without any hassle and do the job of printing well. The ET-2760 checks all the boxes. It was easy to set up and comes with 4 of the ink tanks. This can be set up wireless with built-in wi-fi, which is how I use my printers. Initial set up of the printer is straight forward and painless. It has also a USB input if you want to print straight from something like a camera or USB flash drive. Overall, this is the new go to printer for me and saying goodbye to cartridge replacements is a major win.

Not any better than old school rabbit ears.
on June 23, 2019
Posted by: MIXMASTERICE

I have some non-powered RCA rabbit Ears that I've had for at least 20 years. I compared this RCA Amplified multi-directional HDTV antenna to the rabbit ears and fully expected the amplified antenna to do much better at picking up channels.
Both the amplified antenna and rabbit ears scanned the exact same amount of channels. Both failed to pull in Fox. Fox is a VHF channel and those are usually weaker signals. No matter what I tried, using the RCA signal app, which shows the Fox tower only 9.6 miles away, the amplified antenna will not pull in Fox.
I'm very disappointed in this product, what with it not performing any better than an old pair of rabbit ears that cost around $10. Perhaps in a larger city this may work better and pull in more channels, but plugged in or unplugged, it pulled in the same number of channels. Interestingly enough, I put a piece of aluminum foil on the antenna and it pulled in one more channel, some odd ball analog channel. All this makes me think the amplifier for this product is extremely weak.

A $500 dysfunctional swiffer.

I had really high hopes for the M6 robot mop. If training mode were akin to basic training in the Army, the M6 would fail miserably. The M6 seems completely lost in our open floor plan main level of our home, which has laminate plank flooring. Did the training mode multiple times and every time the M6 will cover one area with multiple passes, but leave huge areas untouched. It ran out of cleaning solution, filled it up and it ran for around 3 hours and never did more than 1/3rd of the area. It's like the M6 is completely lost and can't cover a larger area. The M6 also leaves streaks on the floor in areas. It looks to me like a design flaw where the cleaning pad and sprayer is up front, then it runs over that and the wheels are right behind, so they run through the wet floor and leaves streaks. Maybe the pad should be in the rear behind the wheels?
Anyway, we used both of the disposable wet and dry pads, plus the small bottle of cleaner included. In all honesty, I really don't think it's worth buying new pads and cleaning solution considering how poorly this performs. $500 is a lot of money for something that doesn't seem able to do what it is designed to do.

Better than TV speakers and simple to use.
on June 10, 2019
Posted by: MIXMASTERICE

First off, this is a good system to get for somebody who isn't satisfied with TV speakers, yet doesn't want to get into a complicated and more expensive receiver based surround sound system. This soundbar is also compatible with LG's wireless rear speakers at an additional cost.
Positives:
+ Good sound quality for the size of the speakers/sub
+ Included subwoofer is wireless
+ Supports ARC
+ Has USB and Bluetooth options for music play
+ Supports the LG Music Flow Android App
+ Included remote is full function
Negatives:
- Lacks support for 4K resolution using the HDMI input on the unit
- HDMI jacks are very hard to get to if you have a stiffer HDMI cable
- This unit is very picky about which HDMI cables will work
- Price of this soundbar is higher than many LED 4K TV's.
- LG Music Flow app not supported for Apple
The lack of 4K video pass-thru using the soundbar HDMI is a real let down. This soundbar retails for $279.99, which is kind of pricey. I paid under $250 for a 49" LG 4K TV, so it seems odd to think that the soundbar cost more than the TV.
The sound quality is pretty solid for what this is. The sub being wireless is a nice touch, but I would still keep the sub closer to the soundbar. I have no idea what the soundbar speakers are capable of bass wise and don't know what internal crossover is set for this system, but if you move the subwoofer too far away from the soundbar you can tell exactly where the bass is coming from. This is known as "localization" and not something you want in a system. Keeping the small sub closer to the soundbar will help blend the sound together better. The sub itself is small, about the size of a bookshelf speaker. For it's small size it does a decent job, but not anywhere near what a real subwoofer is capable of.
Overall, not a bad 2.1 soundbar in terms of features and quality, but the price is a bit high. I would wait for a sale to hit in the $150-$200 range before buying this soundbar. I have this set up with a LG 49" 4K TV and LG Blu-Ray player in my basement for my daughter's "apartment" and it does the job well enough. If you want an improvement over your TV speakers, but don't want to go full blown receiver based surround sound, a soundbar is a good option.

Solid mid-range TV, but pay attention to model #s.
on May 23, 2019
Posted by: MIXMASTERICE

This is a very solid mid-level LCD 4k TV. Pay attention if you are buying a 65" M-Series Vizio, as there is more than one.
Positives>
+ Deep blacks.
+ Excellent screen uniformity, with no banding, flashlighting, dirty screen or other noticeable issues.
+ Fast response time for gaming, with a dedicated game setting.
+ 90 dimming zones and 600 nits (brightness)
Negatives>
- Remote is small and not the best to navigate.
- Smart features not well laid out or very responsive.
- No support for Hulu Live TV
- TV itself weighs quite a bit.
For a mid level TV It has enough nits to do HDR pretty well, but it still won't wow you like a higher end TV with much higher nits. The overall picture quality is excellent and screen uniformity is awesome. No real motion blur during fast paced sports like basketball or hockey. Also good for gaming with a fast response time.
Vizio still lacks support for Hulu Live TV with their lineup of HDTV's. For those who don't know, other manufacturers like Samsung and LG do support this. So if you are a Hulu Live TV subscriber this TV will not support it. You will have to buy a Fire Stick, Roku or something like that that does support it.
This model is M658-G1, but there is another M-Series TV, model M657-G0. Be aware when buying a 65" M-Series that the M657-G0 is the lesser model, with 400 nits and only 20 dimming zones compared to the M658-G1, which has 600 nits and 90 dimming zones. Big difference here and somebody could easily buy the lesser model thinking they are getting the better model.
Overall, this is a TV I would highly recommend for somebody wanting a quality TV, but not wanting to mortgage their house to get one. It's not going to compete with higher end models, but I'm very happy with how great the picture looks and how the screen uniformity has little to no issues. Two thumbs up.

Does the job without any major issues.

This is a simple little Bluetooth transmitter that does the job. It comes with a 3.5mm short cable, 3.5mm female to RCA stereo male adapter and a micro USB cable. If you want to use this with a typical home receiver via the headphone jack, chances are you will need a 1/4" headphone adapter, which is not included.
I've used this on a TV and receiver and, at least for the most part, it works pretty well. It has an average range and if you get too far away within your house, particularly with walls between the signal, the sound will start cutting out. This states it's range is 50', but I'm not getting that, at least not indoors.
Listening to music the sound quality is noticeably deteriorated by the transfer of the audio through the transmitter. It's not bad, but it does degrade the quality to a certain degree.
I've used this on my Onkyo receiver connected to the headphone jack, which takes the larger 1/4" adapter you don't get with this device. Connection is stable and pairing up to wireless/Bluetooth headphones was simple, but make sure you don't have the headphones already paired up to another device. This transmitter can work with two devices simultaneously. I also ran this with some Bluetooth speakers, one of which is the LG RK8 Boombox and had no issues.
Overall, not a bad little device for the price. You will have to keep it charged or connected via the included micro-USB cable to something with a USB port for powering devices or a wall adapter (not included), which would then allow you to not have to worry about charging.

Solid option for on-ear on the go headphones.

Positives>
+ Lightweight design
+ Good bass response.
+ Custom Button for voice assist, Google assist or Amazon Alexa.
+ Surround modes, bass level and sound position control from app.
+ Fairly comfortable and not excessive clamping force for big heads.
+ Solid battery life and Bluetooth connection
Negatives>
- All plastic with an aluminum band inside the headband
- A bit lacking in clarity and detail in the upper mids and highs.
- No case included (something Sony doesn't even include on premium models)
- No dedicated EQ in the Music Center/Headphones Connect app.
Overall, these are some very solid on-ear wireless cans. I'm not particularly fond of most on-ear headphones, but these XB-700's are a pair I can appreciate. The Sony Music Center app allows you to change some settings, but the lack of a dedicated EQ for these headphones is disappointing, considering the Sony Bluetooth speaker SRS-XB-32 I have uses the same app and has a dedicated EQ.
Sound quality is typical of Sony cans in the XB line. Good bass response, but the clarity of the highs and detail is a bit lacking. Upper range isn't bad by any means, but compared to some other brands the detail is less.
Build quality is pretty much all lightweight plastic. I wouldn't be too rough on these, as this all plastic design with other Sony headphones in the past has proven to be a bit on the fragile side. The ear cups will lay flat, but these do not fold up. A fold up design with a small case included would have been a good move. Comfort wise these are not bad for on-ear and I give them the "big head" seal of approval. For anybody who likes on-ear wireless cans, the XB700 is definitely one to put on the short list. I would take these over the similar and more expensive Beats Solo3.

Just a slight update to the XB31, but still slick.
on April 12, 2019
Posted by: MIXMASTERICE
from Missouri
If you have seen or own the XB31 then you pretty much know what to expect from the updated XB32. Not a lot has changed, most noticeably being the way the lighting wraps around the edges.
Positives:
+ Long battery life, which is shortened when using lighting.
+ Strong bass output and overall good quality sound.
+ Various lighting modes.
+ Music Center app allows for controls of sound and lighting.
+ Ability to charge other devices from the speaker via USB.
+ IP67 waterproof rating.
Negatives:
- Speaker is a bit heavy and bulky.
- Sound can get a little harsh at louder volume levels.
- Sound is directional, coming only from the front of the speaker.
- Micro-USB still being used to charge instead of USB C.
The XB32 retails for $150, same price as the UE Boom 3. I have both and I prefer the XB32 a bit more overall, but the Boom 3 still has a couple of advantages. The Boom 3 is a bit smaller and offers better portability, with the 360 degree sound. For on the go use, the Boom 3 is probably a better option, but doesn't have any lights. If I'm say going to be working in the garage, I'll grab the Boom 3.
The XB31 is currently on sale for $99.99, so I probably would wait for the XB32 to go on sale for that price or pick up the XB31. There really isn't a lot of differences in the XB31 and XB32, with both being very solid Bluetooth speakers. Pretty much all brands of Bluetooth speakers tend to go on sale quite often, so I would never pay retail for any of them

Great quality non-smart tv
By HDSILVER08 from Waco
Really like the tv. Picture and sound quality are great and the tv is a good value because it isn't burdened with "smart" tv features or 3D. I was disappointed that it didn't have PIP. I didn't even think to look twice as I thought that was a pretty basic feature.

Excellent considering the price
By HABABONE from New Berlin, WI
Pros: Paid $50 for a pair during Black Friday which is one heck of an deal. Polk makes nice looking speakers with pretty good audio quality. T15 are perfect computer speakers, small enough to be placed almost any where, and more powerful than your typical Creative or Logitech speakers. The biggest downside I had was using bookshelf speakers as part of my home theater 7.1 setup, something T15s cannot handle.
Cons: I purchased T15s speakers to complete my 7.1 Surround Sound setup. I'm using Polk Monitor 75s for my front, Polk 70S for my rear, Polk TSX150C for my center, and BIC F12 for my Subs. Upon testing my floor standing speakers completely drowns out these book shelf speakers, I couldn't even tell they were on unless I put my ears right next to them or turn all speakers volume down to -2 and kept the T15 at 10. So I sold this model to my brother for the same price to upgrade his PC speakers, at which they sound great.
Other Thoughts
For PC speakers I would rate these and 5 out of 5, but for home theater setups with floor standing speakers, you will be better off going with Polk Monitors 40-45 for $120-80.

User error.

I have the Monitor 70 Series II for fronts, as well as Monitor 50 Series II for side surrounds. I'm currently using the T15's for rear surround. You must have set up your system wrong or something. I have my surround setup perfectly balanced and in no way do the T15's not hold up their end of the sound chain. Run an auto setup or tweak it yourself, but there should be no reason you can't hear the T15's clearly. Perhaps you were using a receiver mode that didn't properly use the speakers?

Great compact stereo
By GrannyandGrampy247
Our 14 yr. old grandson had picked this stereo out after testing ALL the stereos on ALL the shelves. He is very meticulous about his musical instruments, speakers, headphones and ear buds and when he heard the sounds, tones and bass come out of this compact stereo he was gleaming. Just as they were about to close his brother reached up and found the button that turned on the lights in the speaker! That was priceless!! He had asked for a speaker with lights in it. It works great! People were awesome, got a price match ad, they helped us wrap it up to hide it the day we purchased it! The quality and sound and functionality is a 10 out 10. We have had it for about a month now.
