Must Have Speakers

If you purchase the Sony HT-Z9F soundbar these rear speakers are also a must. The depth and sense of surround they help add to the soundbar cannot be understated.
They are wireless all you need to do is plug them into a power source, and I must say I was a bit worried that I would get audio drops here and there since where I live there are tons of Wi fi signals around. But I never once heard and audio drops or crackling or any loss of of sound quality.
The settings for the soundbar help you adjust the volume for each speaker individually which helps a ton.
I highly recommend getting these speakers.

Very Solid Almost Great Soundbar

Sony's new soundbar at times sounds great as close as I have ever heard a soundbar come to a true 5.1 system, but other times I am reminded that this a limited 3 speaker bar.
Let me start off with the good, sound clarity is great and the depth of sound is excellent. There was excellent separation of the highs and mids, voice quality was much better than most sound bars I have heard. My biggest surprise and delight was Sony's Vertical Sound Engine, it makes a huge difference is the sound when you are watching movies, with it off the sound was very flat and felt like the it was coming just straight out of the speakers. with it on the sound definitely felt more surround like.
The passthrough on the soundbar also worked great I was able to play movies in Dolby vision and HDR with no problems and I did not see any input lag added when the Xbox one X was connected directly to the soundbar.

Now for the downsides of this soundbar.
While the voices come in pretty clearly at higher levels there are two issues, there is a huge dynamic range gap that at high volumes hearing voices is no problem but explosions and other sounds are incredibly loud, and at lower volumes it becomes harder to hear voices clearly. the nighttime feature does help a bit in terms of flattening the other sounds but does not help too much in terms of voices.
Sony's Vertical Sound Engine is fantastic and helps give the soundbar a much wider soundstage but it still never feels as good as even a basic true 5.1 system unless you add the extra wireless speakers you can buy seperately, and while the system does let you tweak some of the values of the speakers it does not give you the full control to tweak the center speaker compared the left and right.
Overall I am very pleased with the soundbar and I think it sounds much better than most other soundbars, and the vertical sound engine makes a huge difference, but if you are looking between this and a true 5.1 system I would recommend that over this.

Excellent Air Purifier

I have owned several different air purifiers over the years and all of them seem to work about the same. So call me skeptical when I was reading of how this Dyson Purifier was a smart enabled product and it would work better than any of the other purifiers I have owned before.
Well I am happy to report that I was wrong. We needed a new purifier for my sons room, his room gets the dustiest very quickly so having a purifier in there when he sleeps is a must. I was shocked when we turned on the Dyson for the first time and it told us the air quality was not great in the room, so we turned it on closed the door and came back a couple hours later and I couldn't believe it. The dyson was telling me the air quality was now better and I could immediately tell. the air quality seemed better it was like breathing in fresh air. I was utterly shocked. We have been using the purifier every night in his room and he has been getting better sleep every night since.
I highly recommend it if you are looking for a purifier.

Solid 1080 TV Bad 4K TV

Let me start with this if you are looking for a tv to get into 4K movies and play games In 4K with HDR then you should stay far away from this tv.
Yes it is compatible with HDR but it doesn't seem to have a wide color gamut nor does it have a very good contrast ratio. The black levels are terrible when watching widescreen content the bars on the side cannot get black, The documentation says the tv is backlit but it doesnt seem to have a local dimming feature so it cannot darken areas and brighten others to help with HDR.

I do not want to just bag on the tv as their is some good to it. The TV is relatively bright and colors look very good watching 1080p content. The build quality while all plastic was better than I had anticipated.
Smart tv features worked as advertised, I was able to connect and stream from Netflix and Vudu very easily. It is not the fastest tv when using network features but it does work well.
If you are looking to Jump Into the 4K realm I would skip this tv and find something better suited for 4K but if you are looking for a big screen and just going to play blu-ray movies or stream then it would be a pretty good choice.

OK Training Watch

I do not want to be overly negative in my review but let me start by saying that I really like the design of the Suunto Watch. It fits my style very well and I find it pleasant to look at and even to show it off.
The watch functions relatively well but I have noticed a lot of issues while using it. The first thing is the Step Counter on it is an absolute joke. While I was setting the watch up I was sitting on my couch I was slightly moving my arm around getting the watch and fitting it in a comfortable position and when I look at the step counter it had said I had taken 32 steps already.
This has continued throughout my time using the watch. just going about my normal business I will take a look down and see my steps have increased by several hundred or thousand. My job requires me to sit for long stretches of time. So the step reader is incredibly innacurate.

The phone is also very particular on where it has to be on your wrist to get a good reading for the heart monitor. The phone would eventually slide down from where I would have it and began to display incorrect heart rate information until I adjusted the watch on my wrist.
Also the connectvity to my phone has not been great, I do not recommend using it for notifications I kept having issues where a notification would pop on the watch, I would dismiss it on the watch and phone and it would notify my a couple more times on the watch about the notification even if it was something I had deleted several minutes ago.
All of the other basic functions of the watch seem to work very well and the watch is very easy to use, its very easy to scroll through the different options and get to where I need to go on the watch.
I wish I could love this watch and recommend it to everyone I know, but all of the issues I experienced using the watch left me not feeling great about it.

A solid 4K Blu Ray player

I have already enjoyed using Sony’s disc players through the years as they have always had good build quality and held up over time. And the ubp-x700 is no exception.
When I first saw the photos for the player I was a bit worried it was made entirely of plastic and that would cause it to make a lot of noise when the disc is spinning since it did not have a strong frame, so I was pleasantly surprised when I opened it up and saw that most of the player was made out of aluminum.
My one big complaint is that the remote is tiny and does not feel good, the buttons are so incredibly squishy they just feel terrible to press.
They are not a ton of streaming services but all of the major ones are here ,Netflix,Amazon, Vudu, Hulu, but if you use direct tv now or sling tv your out of luck.
Overall I’m very impressed with player and if your looking into jumping into 4K this is an excellent player to purchase.

Excellent Gaming PC For Beginners

The Hp Omen Gaming PC is a great PC for someone that wants to get into gaming but is unsure of how to build their own PC.
You will almost always end up with something better if you build it yourself because you can personalize and build in a way that suits you better than buying something pre built but I have to say this PC is pretty darn good.
Let me Start with the positives The PC graphics card and Cpu are pretty good, they are not the highest end that you can get but you should have no problems playing any of the newer games out or coming out.
The case is designed very well and has plenty of space for any future upgrades you would like to do.
Now lets move onto the negatives, there is not a lot of ram in the system at 8gb most newer games are maxing this out if you try to run on higher settings , the good thing is the computer is very easy to upgrade your ram, I just wished it came with at least 12gb if not 16gb.
The other issue is the Graphics Card it comes with a RX580 which is a pretty good mid range card the issue is that this is the 4Gb vram version of the card. that is very little vram for trying to run games at high settings. Running Destiny at High settings had me using up almost all of the vram and I was getting dips below 60fps.
While not a big issue at the moment this will become a bigger issue in the coming years when games are going to need more memory to run.

Even though the PC has these negatives I think overall this PC is a very good value for someone looking to get into PC gaming and kind of unsure where to start. It helps you build a very good foundation and learn.

Amazing Bluetooth Speaker

I cannot say enough good things about the Audio Pro Addon T3.
It is Honestly the best bluetooth speaker I have used. The sound quality is excellent from low volumes to even when you max it out. I never heard any distortion or strain from the speaker.

The Battery Life is excellent I took it with me to work the other day and had it playing for 9 hours straight at about half volume, and it still had more than half the charge.
The design is also excellent while it is a bit blocky it is very sturdy and well designed.
If you are in the market for a bluetooth speaker you cannot go wrong with this one.

The design Of this Monitor is great it looks fantastic.
They market that this monitor is very thin and that is true the only issue is the stand is pretty wide which takes away from how thin the monitor is.

in terms of picture quality I would say the monitor is very good. I would not quite put it at great, blacks are not quite as dark as I would like them to be. and their is not much you can do in terms of color management.
Now this might be a small issue for some but I really do not like the placement of the power button it feels like it almost angled a bit and is sometimes hard to find when you are trying to turn on the screen.

It does have speakers on it but I would recommend you buy a pair of speakers for your PC rather than use the ones on the screen.

Everything You Need To Create Delicious Meals

Let me start by saying I love cooking at home but I am a beginner as beginner can be. I am by no means a great chef but I am able to create decent meals.
So when I received the Ninja Intellisense system I was incredibly excited.
There was so many possibilites opened up to create different kinds of meals with it, and I love that everything is so incredibly easy to use.

I am interested in the new LG UP970 4K Blu-ray player. the limited info out now indicates it has two HDMI ports out. one is 2.0 and the other is 1.4. my question has to do with the slower one. is this full spectrum, both audio and video?
The First Port Is For Video and Audio and the Second Port IS for Audio only as I understand. The Point of the feature is so you can connect your 4K tv to get all of the features and benefits of 4K UHD but if you have a receiver that cannot pass that through you can still send Audio to your receiver.

Can google home speak or answer to foreign languages. Google now does speaks multi languages, but I don't know about google home can do this. I know Alexa can't speak foreign languages.
In the Options menu I only see option for the assistant language to be in english
