Nice little lens, can't beat the price

Can't beat this lens for the price. It's nice that it's a genuine NIKKOR lens with Vibration Reduction. It's a bit slow in low light, but that's to be expected. It actually performs better than the comparable Canon models for their cameras, which is nice.

This does the trick, and does exactly what it promises. It's extremely easy to use, too. Works as soon as it snaps into the mini displayport port.

Puts you in the middle of the Red Rocks action

I've always wanted to experience Red Rocks, but haven't had the opportunity to yet, as I'm all the way across the country, but this Blu Ray puts you right in the middle of the venue, as well as close up to see the passion this band has when playing.
This is great for any Mumford and Sons fan, and anyone who is interested in live music on DVD/Blu-Ray, as this is one of the best.

I bought this as a gift for my parents to go with their 50" Insignia plasma TV that we got them last year. They were looking for something to improve their listening experience, and provide some depth that TV speakers just can't, and this does the trick. They love it, and use it every day.
What's great about it: significantly improves TV sound, MP3/AUX input
What's not so great: tiny little remote, easily lost

Their best album to date - Still my favorite

I love DMB, and everything they've put out (with some exceptions..) but this is by far my favorite album. It's dark, and just well put together. The production and mastering is second to none. Listen to this through a good pair of headphones, and you won't be sorry.

Made the jump from AE2 - Glad I did, love these!

How Often Used:Daily
I have been using the AE2's for a few weeks, but I realized I wanted a bit more noise blockage, so I decided to give these a go. One thing I did notice is that, since the drivers are a bit further from your ears, the sound is a bit deeper and more punchy, at least to my ears.
I wear these at work when I want to slip away into my own world, and get my stuff done. I'm going to try them at mowing the lawn this weekend, but I think they will work wonderfully for that, too.
Overall, I'd definitely give these a solid 4.5 stars. The only "downside" is the price point, which I'd say they're totally worth, but it's a lot of money to part with.
What's great about it: sound quality, noise cancellation
What's not so great: at $300, it's not the most affordable, Can't listen in passive mode

Great for when you need sound, but need to hear

How Often Used:3-5 times a week
These things are great for when you need quality sound, but still need to hear what's going on around you. Running is a great example, but also if you're in the office and need to hear the phone ringing, or anything like that, these are wonderful.
I still prefer my AE2's for long listening sessions, but these are great, and deliver an awesome sound space, plus thunderous bass, without having to create a seal with your ear.
I highly recommend these for working out, or anything that doesn't require sound isolation.

I am simply in love with these headphones. I've had them for a month and a half now, and I use them every day. I only wish the bluetooth version was out when I decided on these.
They're not active noise canceling, but they block out enough noise that it doesn't matter.
I went through SEVERAL sets of headphones before finding out how amazing these were.

These are my fronts, paired with a ProCenter1000, and 600's in the rear, plus a Definitive ProSub 600 and a MartinLogan Dynamo - I couldn't be happier with the way my system sounds. The sound space is incredible, and you can hear individual rain drops, strings being plucked, etc.
Absolutely worth it.

I had a full size iPad with Retina display, but I sold it on eBay to pick up the mini. It's so perfect, fits in one hand, has enough surface area for games, reading, surfing and working.
I'd highly recommend it if you're thinking of making the switch - it really is the perfect iPad, and the price is right.

How do you talk on the iphone with these? Do you connect with the wire with mic like the Bose noise cancel ones I already have and does a telephone wire come with them?
You do not need to connect a wire to your phone to talk. These connect via Bluetooth, like one of those tiny bluetooth headsets you used to see people wearing. You have a conversation completely wirelessly

If the lithium battery dies on you while you are at the Airport, is the battery quickly replaceable? Can you quickly swap out a spare battery when you need one in a hurry?
It is not. It is an internal battery that is not easily swappable. However, it's got 40 hours of wired playback and over 20 hours of Bluetooth. I have yet to have the battery die on me.

Is an extended warranty available for these headphones?
A lot of people love these, but some people say the quality just isn't there and that sometimes they break right around a year after purchase. Also, some have said that Bose doesn't do a good job of standing behind their products. So do you offer an extended warranty to help deal with that sort of problem? How well does Best Buy stand behind the product?
I'm a huge fan of Bose products, and their customer service. I've never owned something of theirs that they haven't stood behind. I've ready numerous reports of people taking in broken QC3 headphones, and getting a new pair of QC15's for a very good price (long outside of warranty). That said, I've purchased the Geek Squad protection plan on my headphones from Best Buy as well. It's $39.99, I believe, and it's a 2-year replacement plan.
I've used it already once when I broke a pair of QC15's (totally my fault) - and I just went in to the store and left with another pair. If anything, it keeps you safe for the 2 years, and then after that, Bose technical support/service is usually pretty good about working to keep its customers happy.

I wouldn't see why not. So long as it's got a headphone out, it should play through the AUX port just fine.

Is it stereo? Do I only need one?
Yes, you only need one. There are 4 drivers and 2 passive bass radiators inside. It puts out VERY full sound, and gets VERY loud.

Need to have greater volume for classroom presentation.
Most definitely. I'd considered using a pair of these for my bedroom TV speakers for a while until I discovered the Solo. They provide plenty of volume, wide coverage and stereo sound.

Will a Microwave oven interfere with the sub?
I am planning to install the Cinemate 1 in my kitchen. The sub will be install in the last third of the room( 20 feets long). Will the microwave oven interfere with the subwoofer when in operation?
My microwave is just around the corner from my living room, and I get 0 interference with the Acoustimass Module. I think you'll be fine with that setup.

What is the ideal tv volume?
When I first installed my sound bar, the tv volume was set at 20 (out of 70 or so), unknowingly to me. So, at times I was having to turn my sound bar all the way up to the point it was maxing out and I still wasn't getting enough sound. Then I realized the issue and put my tv at 40 and so now the overall sound is better and louder without having to turn the sound bar all the way up. Is their an ideal tv volume level (ie at the tv's midpoint?) to set when using the sound bar?
Ideally, you should turn off your TV's internal speakers and volume control. If you go into your settings and into sound, it should have an option to set speakers to external, and that will output at a constant volume to the sound bar.

can I connet my smart phone to listen music from my device ?
There are L/R inputs if you should choose to run a cable to the back of the sound bar, but there's no particular dock or feature that allows connectivity. I play mine through Airplay over my Apple TV.
