I have been using the SoundTouch 300 sound bar for about a month or so, and I am completely and totally in love with it. I really didn't think it could get any better until I added this little beauty.
First things first, this is a solid unit. You can really feel the quality in both this, and the sound bar, but this has some serious weight to it, like a good sub should. Once I got it out of the box, I was so excited to get it hooked up. I plugged in it, and fired up AdaptIQ on my SoundTouch 300. I was paired, and up and running in under 30 minutes from opening the box to completing AdaptIQ.
I put on a few movie trailers, cranked up the volume and sat back. The first explosion hit, and *woah!!! - the floor is shaking. The next one hits, and holy cow, I'm immersed in the middle of the action. Not only does this deliver a depth to your music and movies that you can hear, but it brings another dimension that you can actually feel. When a door closes, there's a (the only way I can describe this sound..) "whump" as if you were right there in the room and you can feel the air moved by the door swinging shut. When a helicopter is flying around, you can feel the blades chopping at the air and it resonates so well.
This unit blends in great with every day sounds. It doesn't over power things, and only comes out to play when called upon. When it is called upon, though, it's a heavy-hitter. I have never experienced an Acoustimass module with this kind of dynamic range. All without an ounce of distortion. It has to be heard to be believed.
I can not say enough good things about this. It's absolutely deeper, smoother, an
more powerful than you can ever imagine. Music is stellar, too. Kick drums you can feel in your chest, bass that feels like you're in a club or concert, etc.. My family isn't as passionate as I am about sound equipment, and even they don't want to stop listening to this sound bar since I added the Acoustimass 300. Well done, Bose. Well done!

Let me start off my saying that I'm a fan of all things Bose. Every piece of audio equipment I own is Bose, and I find it hard to stray to anything else. This product is absolutely no exception.
I'm coming from a Cinemate 1SR - which was, and still is one of the most fantastic sound bars I have ever listened to or owned. The SoundTouch 300 exceeds the performance of the 1SR, even without the need of an added Acoustimass module. There is deep, deep bass coming out of that tiny, slim sound bar. I hope I am able to get the wireless subwoofer to get the full experience one of these days soon. I don't yet have the wireless surrounds, but this does a wonderful job of throwing sound all over the room, even without them.
Simply put, this one single piece of the puzzle will amaze you. The vocals are so crystal clear, and the music is so amazingly present, that it genuinely feels as if you're sitting in a full sized movie theater. Acoustic guitars sound so bright and open that you can hear the contact of the pick on the strings. Drums have a dynamic, resonating sound that can't be described, it has to be experienced to be believed.
Overall, this product is a HUGE win. The only down side is that it was a bit time consuming to get up and running on my WiFi, but once I got the app installed on my iPad, it was a breeze. I would highly, highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for home theater sound in a sophisticated, elegant package, without having to wire everything all over your living room. A++

I can't believe how great these are. I know they're expensive, but they are worth every penny. When I first got them, I had a couple of people try and locate the subwoofer while I played music. These little (comparatively, given their sound) speakers are amazing. I can't say it enough. I'm a long time Bose customer, and these may be my favorite all around product I've ever owned of theirs.

This blender is great! I've been using it every morning to make smoothies. It makes short work of anything we can throw at it. It's amazing how this can turn skim milk protein powder, ice and frozen fruits into a smooth, creamy treat that tastes like it came from a major chain smoothie place.
I've been using a bullet-style Ninja up until now, and it always leaves chunks and puts a lot of air into the drinks. I'm glad I got this one - it's a much, much better blender. It's very easy to clean, but be careful, those blades are SHARP.
I have yet to try mixing anything hot, but this seems like it will power through souls and sources with ease.
I also like the way it looks. It is a sleek, upscale looking blender with green LED lights on the black base. It is very futuristic and modern. My only wish is that it had a glass pitcher because I feel that keeps the smoothies colder while mixing, but it's honestly a very minor wish.
Highly recommend this - it would make a great wedding or housewarming gift. The recipient is sure to love it.

I can't NOT believe how incredibly awesome these headphones are.
Full disclosure, I am a Bose FANATIC. I absolutely love their products, and absolutely everything I own for sound is Bose. I've used their noise canceling headphones since the QC15, and bought the QC25 upon release. The QC25 have been the best headphones I've ever owned. Until now.
I have had these since their release and I have used them for absolutely everything. They take the QC25 up an ever so slight notch in every category. The sound on these things is absolutely mind blowing - the Active EQ brings out the smooth, plentiful bass. It's just enough to bring out the emotion in your music, but it doesn't rattle your head like some others do.
Sometimes I sit at my desk without music, just enjoying the quiet these provide. If you're stuck between these and any other model, I'd highly recommend these. I didn't think I'd be as dependent on Bluetooth headphones as I am, but these are stellar. I can put music on my MacBook and walk around the office without even thinking about it. These are perfect for mowing the lawn, working out, or just sitting and watching TV/Movies on your tablet/phone or streaming TV device. I can't wait to take them on a flight to enjoy wireless freedom combined with the best Noise cancelation in the business. These really are a #gamechanger.

I was disappointed when Apple stopped making the leather smart covers for this generation, but once i realized how much protection this provides for the back, I was sold.
Even with the smart case, the size and weight are still less than the previous full sized iPad. I'm very happy with it.

I was interested to give this thing a shot when I found out that it uses the same technology as the Bose TV, but has an added Acoustimass Module.
When I brought it home, it took less than 20 minutes to get it all up and running, and another 10 to run the AdaptIQ setup. When it's going through that, you can really hear it throwing sound at the back wall and in the corners.
What's amazing to me is that, even sitting right next to it, you can't really tell the sound is coming from just that one bar - it's all around and it's amazing. NFL football games are astounding, and it feels like you're part of the crowd.
If you're in the market for a sound bar, and can swing the steep price tag, you will NOT be disappointed by this.

I've had the full size Soundlink II for quite some time now, and I love it. I use it all the time, so when the Mini came out, I figured it was worth a listen. What I didn't know, was just how comparable in sound to the full sized unit it actually would be.
This thing is INCREDIBLE. While it doesn't get near as loud as the Soundlink II, and doesn't have the same amount of really low bass, when used in a smaller setting, I actually like it a little more. The Soundlink II, I use to fill my back yard with music, and this little thing will still fill my kitchen/living room/office area without hesitation.
I did a little experiment and placed it on my desk between my computer speakers and asked a few co-workers to listen to the music, and they thought it was coming from my Companion II's - That's how good this thing is. I'm REALLY happy with it, and it just drops into my bag without taking up much room at all.
What's great about it: Sound quality, size, durability
What's not so great: could use a speaker phone option, but that's not a big deal

I had purchased the Companion 2 Series II about 3 weeks ago, and I loved them. I thought they were perfect, and there was nothing I would change about them, until I heard the Series III.
You won't believe the sound difference. They are both fantastic speakers, but the Series III have a crystal clarity about them that is unmatched, and the bass response is incredible for such a small pair of speakers. The detail in these little bad boys is awesome. From every pluck of the guitar strings, to intricate cymbal work, these allow my music to shine.
I use them on my desk in my cubicle, and they are perfect at ANY volume. The best part is, the sound doesn't carry across the room/gets absorbed by the cube walls, so I can turn these up a little bit, and they make my day so much better.

I've had the entry level SonicCare toothbrush for some time, the one that takes the AA batteries. It was a great toothbrush, but I really wanted something a bit smaller with a rechargeable battery. I also thought that the higher models might have a bit stronger motor in them, and with the clean and white mode, I do believe that to be true.
I like how easy this model is to hold in your hand, and I really like the quad-timer. My mouth hasn't felt this clean in a while, and it seems to stay clean feeling all day. Very pleased with this purchase.

How do you talk on the iphone with these? Do you connect with the wire with mic like the Bose noise cancel ones I already have and does a telephone wire come with them?
You do not need to connect a wire to your phone to talk. These connect via Bluetooth, like one of those tiny bluetooth headsets you used to see people wearing. You have a conversation completely wirelessly

If the lithium battery dies on you while you are at the Airport, is the battery quickly replaceable? Can you quickly swap out a spare battery when you need one in a hurry?
It is not. It is an internal battery that is not easily swappable. However, it's got 40 hours of wired playback and over 20 hours of Bluetooth. I have yet to have the battery die on me.

Is an extended warranty available for these headphones?
A lot of people love these, but some people say the quality just isn't there and that sometimes they break right around a year after purchase. Also, some have said that Bose doesn't do a good job of standing behind their products. So do you offer an extended warranty to help deal with that sort of problem? How well does Best Buy stand behind the product?
I'm a huge fan of Bose products, and their customer service. I've never owned something of theirs that they haven't stood behind. I've ready numerous reports of people taking in broken QC3 headphones, and getting a new pair of QC15's for a very good price (long outside of warranty). That said, I've purchased the Geek Squad protection plan on my headphones from Best Buy as well. It's $39.99, I believe, and it's a 2-year replacement plan.
I've used it already once when I broke a pair of QC15's (totally my fault) - and I just went in to the store and left with another pair. If anything, it keeps you safe for the 2 years, and then after that, Bose technical support/service is usually pretty good about working to keep its customers happy.

I wouldn't see why not. So long as it's got a headphone out, it should play through the AUX port just fine.

Is it stereo? Do I only need one?
Yes, you only need one. There are 4 drivers and 2 passive bass radiators inside. It puts out VERY full sound, and gets VERY loud.

Are these good speakers for use with an ipad?
Need to have greater volume for classroom presentation.
Most definitely. I'd considered using a pair of these for my bedroom TV speakers for a while until I discovered the Solo. They provide plenty of volume, wide coverage and stereo sound.

Will a Microwave oven interfere with the sub?
I am planning to install the Cinemate 1 in my kitchen. The sub will be install in the last third of the room( 20 feets long). Will the microwave oven interfere with the subwoofer when in operation?
My microwave is just around the corner from my living room, and I get 0 interference with the Acoustimass Module. I think you'll be fine with that setup.

What is the ideal tv volume?
When I first installed my sound bar, the tv volume was set at 20 (out of 70 or so), unknowingly to me. So, at times I was having to turn my sound bar all the way up to the point it was maxing out and I still wasn't getting enough sound. Then I realized the issue and put my tv at 40 and so now the overall sound is better and louder without having to turn the sound bar all the way up. Is their an ideal tv volume level (ie at the tv's midpoint?) to set when using the sound bar?
Ideally, you should turn off your TV's internal speakers and volume control. If you go into your settings and into sound, it should have an option to set speakers to external, and that will output at a constant volume to the sound bar.

can I connet my smart phone to listen music from my device ?
There are L/R inputs if you should choose to run a cable to the back of the sound bar, but there's no particular dock or feature that allows connectivity. I play mine through Airplay over my Apple TV.
