Pretty fast for a microsd, SanDisk quality

I had the older SanDisk microsd 64GB capacity, and bought this one expecting it to be faster.
It IS faster, but still... Current technology for microsd doesn't make these things fast. I got it to transfer files at 30MB per second, which is WAY better than 12MB per second which is the speed of pretty much all other microsd's out there, regardless of their "rating" speed.
Compare that to SanDisk's 128 GB Ultra SD card. SD, not microsd. That card transfers FAST. I know it says 80MB per second, but on several occasions file transfer exceeded 100MB per second. Don't ask me how, but it did. I copied a 4GB ISO in seconds. That was nice.

I needed a nano USB flash drive with more than 4gb capacity, and this 16gb SanDisk cruzer fit was on a Daily Deal. I HAD to get it.
Well, that decision has served me well. I loaded Ubuntu on it and was able to set it up as a rescue drive but so much more. With the 16GB capacity, I have room to load apps. As a result, I have a USB drive I can plug into ANY computer and boot up into Ubuntu with all my favorite software tools loaded.
I love the nano size, when it's plugged in, there is no risk of banging and breaking it.

*Just want to mention if you like to tinker as I do, when you take the drive apart, wanting to use it as a 2.5" SATA drive inside, say, a laptop, you will be shocked to find that internally it has a special connector and cannot be repurposed as a SATA.
Other than that, it's a fast drive, easy to use, JUST ONE cable to connect, a standard USB which operates at USB 3.0 speed. What does that mean? Well, sometimes when you're copying the files transfer at over 100 megabytes (not megaBITS) per second. In comparison I have never seen a USB 2.0 go faster than 30 megabytes per second.
Bottom line it's a fast drive, small and easy to carry around.

Excellent price, excellent performance, seamless

I have a desktop computer which had a drive which was failing. The basic symptom was it took a long time to startup and it would occasionally freeze for a few seconds at a time.
I installed this SanDisk 240GB SSD temporarily in the CD/DVD slot and used Symantec Ghost to copy the old drive to this one. It took about an hour to copy 100GB of data.
Upon reboot, Windows 7 came up as expected and it discovered the new drive then said it had to reboot.
After it rebooted it came up in less than a minute. I was so shocked by the speed I rebooted it again just to make sure. Yup this old (3 years) desktop is now one fast PC.

What is the difference between these two128 gb cards? One says Ultra and the other says Ultra Plus
I own the various 128GB SanDisk MicroSDXC models and the Ultra Plus is the FASTEST. Funny because they all pretty much look the same to me. They're so small I can barely tell them apart, except for when I'm copying files.
The speed difference is noticeable. I had to stop and look closely at it to see it was the Ultra Plus difference...

It is neither 5400 or 7200RPM, it has no spindle, no moving parts. The data transfer rates are more than 10x the speed of a 5400 or 7200 drive. You WILL notice the speed difference. It is VASTLY faster in performance.

Yup it works in that camera, and its superfast speed is noticeable.

Yes, it easily transfers at OVER 30MB per second.

Is this uhs-3 correct, cause most online sellers that sell this item say uhs-1? What is the correct UHSS compatibility?
Correct. When they say 80MB per second, it really DOES transfer that fast. Way faster than an UHS-1
