I was working on a computer in PearlRidge and I found I needed a standard VGA cable to connect my PC to the monitor. I was debating driving home to get the one I have sitting in my parts box, but BestBuy is only 5 minutes away.
Luckily the price was great so not only did I save time and stress but money as well. Gas prices are low but my car would have eaten roughly the same price in gas.

I recently bought a Wacom CINTIQ drawing tablet for my daughter. I didn't check to see what ports were available on her laptop.
When the tablet arrived I found out it has an HDMI input, and I needed an adapter that took DV-I output from the laptop and fed into and HDMI input device. Well, this works great!
It would also do well if you want to go from DV-I output on a laptop or PC and you want it to display on a big screen TV which has HDMI input...

I tried the Rival brand, and ironically, it is no "rival" to this Insignia brand item.
The little window is a nice touch, I can see at a glance how much water is in it.
The top pitcher docks to the base and undocks in use, very nice. I would hate to unplug and plug constantly. This item is very well designed for convenience.
It also heats up quickly and automatically shuts off.
There are so many subtle design considerations that make this a godsend. It also has a nice blue light when the unit is heating the water up. Once the temperature is reached, the light shuts off and the boiling water sound subsides.
All good, and it makes my life so much easier.... In regards to boiling water, that is.

I bought an iPhone 5 used which came with a cable that didn't allow me to sync. Part of the process of moving from the old iPhone 4 to the iPhone 5 is to backup the old iPhone 4 then restore onto the new iPhone 5. Well, with a non-working cable (which works for charging only) I was stuck. I went to bestbuy.com and found this Insignia brand sync and charging iPhone 5 lightning cable.
It works GREAT, better than the original. I use it as my master cable the "known working" one. Anything else is good for charging, but not much else.
Oh yeah, I guess I could have gone with an Apple genuine cable, but I looked that up and it's $20+. For me, I'm thinking if the Insignia works the same, I don't see a reason $12 or another way of saying it "spending 75% more" for the Apple one.

It's a really great drive, very fast and reliable. The only thing I have to mention is my daughter has a Macbook Pro, and when she plugged it in and tried to use it, she could only READ NOT WRITE.
I checked and the default format for the drive is NTFS, which her Macbook Pro running OSX 10.10 could not write.
I had her launch Disk Utility and Erase, format FAT Extended, Quick
It took a few seconds, and then it showed up where she had to click in Finder to open it, then it showed as mounted.
From there, she was able to copy fine. Like I said, it's very reliable and fast once you do this quick step on the Macbook.

What is the difference between these two128 gb cards? One says Ultra and the other says Ultra Plus
I own the various 128GB SanDisk MicroSDXC models and the Ultra Plus is the FASTEST. Funny because they all pretty much look the same to me. They're so small I can barely tell them apart, except for when I'm copying files.

no metal parts in the kettle, it appears to be some kind of abs plastic.
The heating element is inside the base which undocks from the kettle piece.

Can I use the Seagate on my Mac Air without an apple time machine and if I don't need the time machine can I do a complete backup without the drag ?
Do I have to have an apple time machine with this Seagate to back up my mac book air? And if I can just use the Seagate without the time machine can I set it to do a complete back up periodically without having to drag and drop?
I just submitted a review on the Seagate 1TB USB drive, where I mentioned having to go to Disk Utility and Erase as FAT Extended.

Is this uhs-3 correct, cause most online sellers that sell this item say uhs-1? What is the correct UHSS compatibility?
Correct. When they say 80MB per second, it really DOES transfer that fast. Way faster than an UHS-1
