Please watch this in the original Russian language instead of the English dubbed track. Great use of 3D with spectacular visuals and an immersive soundtrack. Not much in the way of extras though.
The original Airplane! is one of the funniest movies EVER made. The sequel isn't as good as the first movie, but, does a respectable job (which is a shock because the original writers/directors weren't involved in the sequel). As far as video quality goes, it's not going to look like the latest blockbuster, but it's good for what it is. Special features are only available for the first film (commentary, trivia track, trailer and the "long haul version").
I was totally mesmerized by this movie and thought it was great, however, I would be very wary about recommending it. This is one of those films you either love or hate. I don't think there is any middle ground. The film takes place in Scotland, where Scarlett Johansson's character picks up random guys off the street, and they are never heard from again. Don't want to give away too much, but it is a journey of self discovery. Artfully shot and leisurely paced (reminiscent of Kubrick). If you're at all tired, don't try watching this one.
I first saw this movie in 2D because I didn't have a 3D setup at the time. I was a fan of director Bryan Singer's X-Men movies and Usual Suspects. I also really like Ewan McGregor, but this movie was just okay. I was able to get a good price on the 3D and it did add to my enjoyment the 2nd time watching it.

What's not so great: Not as entertaining as I'd hope
I am a big fan of the original 1987 Robocop. Admittedly, I went into the film with low expectations. Remakes are usually terrible. However, this one was actually very entertaining. The main reason for this is that it is not a retread of the original. Sure, the set up is the same for the most part, but, this movie deals with themes not explored in the original Robocop (and they are definitely themes worth exploring ). That makes this remake interesting enough to check out. This one isn't as good as the original and nowhere near as violent (this movie is PG-13 only), but that doesn't mean it can't be enjoyed.
If you like most of the Coen brothers work, you should like this film as well. Taking place during the early 60s, Greenwich Village (right before Bob Dylan hits it big), we follow Llewyn Davis, a folk singer whose had better days. The film's charm, like most Coen films, is the idiosyncratic characters that populate the film as well as the journey, both physical and spiritual that Llewyn Davis goes on. Great soundtrack, great performances. There is only one bonus feature but it is a good one, running about 43, covering all aspects of the production.
Second film in the Hunger Games series does not disappoint! In fact, it is even more entertaining than the first. The cool exclusive steelbook packaging from Best Buy is icing on the cake. Picture quality is excellent, but, note that the aspect ratio changes from 2.35 to 1.78 during the scenes that were filmed for IMAX (once Katniss enters the game). Audio quality is top notch! Audio commentary, an in-depth making of and some deleted scenes round out the presentation.

What's great about it: Steelbook packaging
What's not so great: Lack of DVD despite advertisement
This newly remastered blu-ray of Robocop improves everything that was wrong with the original blu-ray. Remastered picture looks great. A whole lot of supplemental materials to watch and a good, solid movie to boot!
Not to be confused with the new reboot, this is the uncut, heavily violent film released in 1987.
