I bought this MacBook Pro for my son who is just starting freshman year at college. Since I was so pleased with how my daughters MacBook Pro survived 4 years of her college experience, there was no hesitation in buying another one. What I really like about the MacBook Pro is they just work! No worries about the ridiculous blue screen of death or incompatibility issues or sketchy touch screen gimmicks I have personally experienced with my Corporate Windows 8 based machine. Mac Products are truly worth every expensive penny you pay for them. Think about it. Apple builds the machine as well as the software! So everything is designed to work together from the ground up! And the seamless connection with other Mac products as well as ease of connecting to WiFi is amazing! So if you are in the market for a reliable, well built laptop, look no further. I keep hearing the unit does not keep the drinks cold enough, I like to have my drinks very cold. Is this not the cooler for me?
If you like your drinks "Very Cold" this is not the cooler for you. I swapped out 2 units until I found one that actually worked. The secret, like the instructions say, you need to let is sit 24-36 hours after unpacking before plugging it in. Make sure it is level as well. The drinks do stay cold (36F lowest I measured) but the frost is definitely not part of the equation. You may want to get a mini fridge with a freezer on top which will lower the temp of the fridge.
