I have outfitted my home with Nest Brand Smoke Detectors and thermostats. All perform flawlessly. So I thought I'd pick up the Nest Cam. Although the build quality of the product is outstanding, it falls way short on performance. The fisheye look to the recorded images is distracting and adds to the poor quality videos. The cam also gets disturbingly hot when activated. To top it off Nest requires you to purchase a subscription in order to save the recorded video. Needless to say I returned the device due to these issues. Hopefully the next generation NestCam will resolve theses deficiencies.

I bought this SSD drive to replace a standard 2.5" standard HD in a late 2012 Mac Mini. It was very easy to install and the difference in performance is amazing! Yes. This is an expensive case. But just like any apple accessory, it is well made, fits like a glove and offers a perfect minimalist function. I recently upgraded my iPhone 5s to the new iPhone 6s Plus. At first I was a little concerned with the extra size, but after using this larger iPhone for a week, I don't know why or how I ever got along with the smaller screen format all of these years. As many of you may wonder, how does this fit in a pocket, I purchased a Beautiful Cole Haan Leather folio case at BB the same time I purchased the 6s Plus. Now I store my credit cards (The ones not compatible with Apple Pay), cash and iPhone all encased iin one minimalist holder the size of a check book. Everything fits perfectly fin in my back pocket or suit coat pocket. One of the biggest benefits of the larger screen is that my aging eyes no longer have to squint to read the screen. The battery life is also amazing. I went 3 days on one charge and that is with moderate use. When you combine the 6s Plus with the utility of the Apple watch,(which I also own), life doesn't get any better than this!

I keep hearing the unit does not keep the drinks cold enough, I like to have my drinks very cold. Is this not the cooler for me?
If you like your drinks "Very Cold" this is not the cooler for you. I swapped out 2 units until I found one that actually worked. The secret, like the instructions say, you need to let is sit 24-36 hours after unpacking before plugging it in. Make sure it is level as well. The drinks do stay cold (36F lowest I measured) but the frost is definitely not part of the equation. You may want to get a mini fridge with a freezer on top which will lower the temp of the fridge.
