It is very unusual to find poignancy in an action movie, but The Accountant manages to do this in a very exciting manner. The action in this movie is fantastic, and if that were the only reason to watch no one would be disappointed. However, there are many underlying relationships that are explored in the movie, as much as can be done in a two-hour timeframe, between the different characters. There is father-son, brother-brother, a disenfranchised mother, and a love interest that can never be amongst others. So, if you are watching to see the formation of subtle relationships you wouldn't be disappointed either. The combination existing in this movie is fantastic. I watch a lot of movies, and this is in the top 10 of the last five years.

I hadn't seen any episodes on Fox before buying this. I bought it based on the reviews here and the overall concept of the show. I binge watched the whole season over the course of a few days. Overall very funny.
The episodes are one continuous storyline so they need to be watched in order. I'm hoping to catch the reruns of season 2 in order on TV, but if not, I'll have to wait for season 2 to come out on DVD to continue watching. Being a pretty funny non-animated comedy on Fox, I expect it to be cancelled at any moment.

I've been waiting for 31 to come out forever, I finally saw it today, I loved it. It's undeniably a Rob Zombie film but it's a no holds barred straight up slasher flick! In my opinion his best since The Devils Rejects The plot is simple. It's 1976 and a group of 5 carnival workers get kidnapped and must play a demented game called 31.
The carnival workers have to survive 12 hours locked in warehouse with bunch of insane killer clowns. As with Zombies films the cast is great because he uses actors that are good but have been somewhat retired for one reason or another. The stand outs are Richard Brake Lawrence Hilton Jacobs and Meg Foster but all others are effective in their roles too.
It's non stop action, blood and gore from beginning to end and Zombie doesn't wimp out with the raunchiness and grit either. Richard Brake was spellbinding and down right disturbing as the craziest clown of them all Doom Head.
If you are a Rob Zombie fan or just a slasher fan in general I highly recommend this. Then again as with all of Zombie's films people either love them or hate them. There's usually no middle ground. It is rated R but gets away with quite a bit. I hear there's an NC-17 directors cut coming soon, can't wait for that!

As someone who read the books(and thoroughly enjoyed them), I can't justify giving this TV series a poor review. Obviously this isn't 100% true to the books, but no video adaptation ever is. Authors will tell you themselves that great books don't translate into great video without being heavily altered, and it's true. They're 2 entirely different forms of media, and require many alterations to translate over to another form.
That being said, this is a great show. It takes place in the same world, with the same fundamentals, covering much of the same information, and does an excellent job at portraying the characters from the book. In my opinion they chose a fantastic actor for Quentin, it's spot on. Pulls off all of Q's quirks excellently.

I was surprised that I enjoyed this movie. There many people who have important places to be on Christmas Eve. The power in New York City, a section of a large area, goes out. It is interesting how groups and individuals cope with not only missing the traditional Christmas concerts, seeing family members or friends and are instead are stuck in elevators with people they hardly know or strangers. It was better than I ever guessed it would be.
This release contains the complete first season of the Starz original horror comedy series Ash vs Evil Dead. A follow up to the Sam Raimi's Evil Dead film franchise, the series takes place thirty years after the events of the movies, and follows Ash Williams (Bruce Campbell) once again at war with the Kandarian Demon after he accidentally unleashes the fury of the undead. The series co-stars Lucy Lawless, Dana DeLorenzo and Ray Santiago, with Raimi serving as a show developer. he show is so fantastically well done, it was everything I could have ever wanted as a fan. They keep more to the style of Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness. Even though there's some cgi, the action is there along with Ash being his goofy self. They don't have the rights to AoD, but they make rereferences to AoD where they basically give the finger to Universal by being similar, yet different so they don't get sued for copyrights. It is a clever well done show, and any negative reviews you see are just probably people that aren't happy it wasn't exactly the same as the movies. It is fantastic. I watched the show as it aired, and the end of every episode left me wanting more. I can't wait till season 2 finally airs!!!

Superb adaption of a marvel character, (albeit not exactly like the comic but still great) Very interesting seeing the beginning of wolverine and how he came about being. Hugh Jackson is a charismatic actor who played the part really well. All the marvel universe action and excitement put movie action. This is one of the most popular marvel universe movie characters and we can see why. A must see for any marvel fan (again, I'm not an aficionado on marvel comics, and so I'm not a stuck-up arm chair critics of Stan Lee's marvel world films.) Rather I just like the films- be it seeing old time fav comic characters on live action film/ nostalgic feelings from growing up reading/collected them as a kid? So I'm not over critical of them) I enjoyed it for what it is- a great movie based on marvel world comics.

Despite what the critics say and some of the non-critic professionals say, this is an amazing movie. I am not a gamer, and I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. This movie made me become a WarCraft fan. The cast of characters, the acting, the CGI, the story line, everything I so enjoyed. No spoiler alert no fairy tale ending, but can we please have a part 2 picking up where this one ended, I am ready to go see this.
I am not sure why people who are not into a particular genre, become critics of it in general, for they would never appreciate it, so why criticize because that is all they do.
Anyway, my view point is sit back relax and enjoy this well done cinematic viewing of this movie. I actually went back and saw it twice. If you did not see it due to listening to the critics, that's your bad. But don't listen to me I generally don't listen to critics at all and go see things for myself, and I'm rarely disappointed. I'm a movie buff and pretty old school, where we went to the movies to be entertained, not judgemental.

This show got off to a slow start and the first few shows were a bit confusing trying to set up all the elements that were in play. But then, it really picked up. I like that it is set in a background that isn't typical in series TV. Really looking forward to how the season ends and really hoping it comes back.
A haunting sense of loss pervades the first few episodes of the musical dramedy's fifth season, due to the sudden and untimely death of actor Cory Monteith on July 13, 2013. The season's third installment, "The Quarterback," serves as a fitting tribute and a heartbreaking farewell to both Monteith and his character, Finn Hudson. As the season progresses, the storylines alternate between the gang at McKinley High and the alumni who have moved to New York City. Several cast members, including Heather Morris, Amber Riley, Mark Salling and Harry Shum Jr., cease being regular players in Season 5 but still appear occasionally as guest stars. The main cast includes Matthew Morrison, Lea Michele, Jane Lynch, Kevin McHale, Darren Criss, Jenna Ushkowitz, Chord Overstreet, Chris Colfer, Naya Rivera, Jacob Artist, Melissa Benoist, Blake Jenner, Alex Newell and Becca Tobin.

Glee Season Five was, for me, a disappointment. I thought the first three seasons were great. But Season Four made what I feel was an error in judgment. Faced with the problem of a number of the most popular characters graduating from McKinley High, the creators chose to try and retain them in the show, splitting the action and the plots between Ohio and New York City, while at the same time adding new characters in both locations. The result was that everything was spread too thin, the flow of action became disjointed, and the show suffered as a result. They would've been better off by either splitting off the older characters into a new 'After Glee' show of their own, following them in New York by themselves, or taking the chance on just sticking with - and developing the younger characters and keeping everything going with New Directions at McKinley High. But now with Season Five, it seems that the creators not only didn't resolve the structural problems with Season Four, they've continued to add to them in Season Five with what amounts to a complete loss of direction as well as any sense of what really made the show work in the first place. And of course the death of Cory Montieth cast a pall over everything.
