I absolutely love this movie. It's got a great cast and the storyline is cute. Will Arnett does a fantastic job as LEGO Batman. I can't wait for a 2nd one to come out.

This show has been an amazing adventure between Rick and his group. It is sad by who we've lost along the way, but you need a good, super bad villian to make the show all more interesting. This show has never once let me down. Definitely my #1 watch.

aken, as a whole, is a good series of movies. It started out as a very good movie with a new and interesting concept. The second movie was a bit of a let down for me in a lot of ways but primarily in that it got lazy. Taken 3, the movie here, is a good movie and a much better effort at telling a new story. It ups the stakes a bit with a plot that makes you want to know more but I graded it down because the main "bad" guys are not well developed. You don't feel like you know them enough to hate them and physically they just aren't dominant on the screen. Neeson is great and he carries it well.

The action was great! Denzel was excellent, played his part great and mostly everyone looked like they had be riding horses for a long time. True, it was not a exact copy of the original, but that was fine. Just had small issue with his name, Sam Chisolm. Reminded me of John Wayne's movie "Chisolm", even the music was almost identical to that movie. But the story was great, action was awesome, and much to our regret not everyone lived. True western! Loved it!

John Wick wasn't designed for a sequel. It began with someone killing John Wick's dog, and ended with the vengeance-bent uber-assassin stealing a new best friend from an animal shelter, after dropping 76 dead bodies along the way. The movie succeeded not on the strength of its story, but on the elegance of its action, and while it reaches at times to justify its own existence, John Wick: Chapter 2 boasts a reunion with Matrix co-star Laurence Fishburne and two major improvements on the original: First, no animals were harmed in the making of the film. And secondly, the human body count is significantly higher.
If the latter detail offends your humanistic sensibilities, then this isn't the franchise for you. Even for Grand Theft Auto junkies and those at the other end of the spectrum, it can actually get tiresome watching Wick eliminate a seemingly inexhaustible stream of henchmen at times. But there's a quality to the violence here that elevates it above the literal and reprehensible nihilism of movies and instead achieves something more akin to dance.
John Wick: Chapter 2 pits Keanu Reeves' titular character against the mean and nefarious of the criminal underworld. Once again, Reeves proves that he is a force to be reckoned with in this ridiculous, over-the-top sequel that is every bit as fun as the original. These types of films are rarely known for their artistic value but sets the bar pretty high, not only in its action, but in it's set design and camera work. This is pure escapist entertainment and is exactly what you're looking for.
The look and feel of the film is very much in line with the first. It has beautiful, vibrant colors that compliment the violence and chaos. The sound is absolutely amazing with each gun sounding the way they should instead of using the stock machine gun or pistol sound which is something the original was guilty of at times.
The performances are incredible and the direction of the action sequences is beyond impressive. This is a bigger John Wick and one that does a nice job at expanding on his world. The only issue that the film may have depends on your taste in action films. This is considerably longer than the original but it moves so fluidly and frenetic that it barely feels like it.
Overall, John Wick: Chapter 2 is a very good sequel. It has everything a sequel should have and doesn't disappoint. If you loved the first one then you're going to love this one.

I went into this second chronicle of Jack Reacher at the theater with even expectations. I didn't expect it to outdo the first film (which exceeded my expectations) and I also didn't think it would be a bust like countless other Hollywood sequels. So I tried to view this from the onset with an open mind and eager to see where this story would go since I have not read yet the corresponding story in book-form.
Overall, I was very impressed with the film! In many ways, I believe it exceeds or even is better than the first Reacher film. From reading some of the initial reviews it looks like others don't share that sentiment, but I disagree. Frankly, too many reviews are colored with the typical criticism of "Cruise doesn't physically match up with the Reacher in the books....blah, blah, blah....". That talking point is way beyond overused at this point. I start to tune out when I read it anymore and skip the review. In my mind, it's a non-issue because 1) It's Hollywood: with any cinematic experience we're expected to suspend disbelief and maybe more importantly, 2) Tom Cruise's performance of Jack Reacher, especially in this sequel, is PERFECT! It is. Cruise nailed the nuances, demeanor, attitude and presence of Reacher in every way and I thought he outdid his performance in the first film. Never Go Back seemed to demand more dialogue and character development and Cruise had me believing in his performance. Yeah, he's not blonde. Yeah, he's not 6'5". It doesn't matter. And it's too bad so many (most?) won't give him and these films a chance and always allow "the talking point" to prejudice their reviews.
Aside from Cruise's performance, the action and storyline were also great. The bad-guys may have been stereotypical, but that's to be expected in many ways. And the fight scenes once again are the most realistically depicted compared to what Hollywood usually offers. They were awesome!

This is one of the few movies that I think the sequel is equally as good as the first movie, even if it did take 10 years for it to come out. Boondock Saints is one of my favorite movie, I watch it every year on St. Patrick's Day, and I felt it was probably time to make the 2nd one a tradition as well.
