Keanu Reeves isn't known for his acting skills but when you pair him to a role like John Wick and make a really great action movie about revenge, it's almost like Magic.
What unfolds onscreen will having you wanting more of this story and lucky for you John Wick 2 is already out on Blu-ray and 4K This is one heck of a ride and trust me if you like GUNS , Fast Cars and just all out chaos on screen. Grab this movie you won't be disappointed

Loved this movie, Saw it in the theater and was really impressed the way they handled the story telling and brought this long overdue character to the Big Screen.
Gal Gadot the actress who plays the iconic character Wonder Woman did a fantastic job. Box Office sales surpassed expectations and a sequel will no doubt be in the works. Those interested in this character can also find her first appearance in Batman v Superman the Dawn of Justice. Wonder Woman is also in the feature film Justice League which is currently in theaters at the time of this review: Dec 2017

Anxiety and terror felt. That about sums up what this genre is all about. It's been awhile where a movie doesn't depend on gore, and violence to get the audience involved. Conjuring takes a step back from all the current trend of scare movies and puts fear back into film by not only sound effects but the lack there of. Sometimes silence in film can be just a scary as the POP OUT of nowhere scream or boom, Seriously it's worth a watch and if your a fan of the genre it is most definitely worth adding to your collection.

I like animation and I like animated movies in 3D.
The reason I bought this movie was it was on sale and
even though 3D movies are becoming very rare to find these days, I wanted to at least have this one in my collection before it's no longer available. I gave it a watch and to be honest It's not the best type movie for my liking. Unlike PIXAR and Dreamworks which seemed to find the ballance of Adult Humor and Family / Children presentation... This Movie seemed really more so for the younger audience. I thought the animation was done really well and the 3D at best was delightful. Most animated movies are easy to convert to 3D bluray, more so than a live action movie. The 3D in this offering was focused on depth presentation and not so much on the gimmick in your face pop outs. The movie had some nice moments but unless you have young ones in the house, I doubt this will achieve the level of repeat watching as something offered by Pixar. Is it a bad movie? No. It's just ok.

Ok so if I was the Director, I would have chose a different title because seriously ... BABY DRIVER gave me reservations about even renting this movie let alone buying it for my home collection. Had it not been for the word of mouth around the office, I would prob. have passed on seeing this one at all. I bought the 4K UHD version and from the very beginning I was drawn in. This is one of those movies that Just clicks and does everything right. Only by watching the movie would you understand where it got it's title. This movie has everything, Action, fast cars, love interest , but even better it has a great story. A gem of a movie and I highly recommend this one.

I didn't get to see this in the theater but have been a fan of the graphic novel and since this was adapted for the Big Screen with some really good actors, I bit hook line a sinker when this came out on 4K UHD. Well, the visual and sound did not disappoint. It hit all the bench marks expected of a 4K movie with HDR.
The thing I didn't like about the movie was the pacing. It seemed rather rushed with very little character development. For anyone not familiar with the novel would no doubt be lost with everything going on from the get go. So I am giving this a lower review than it deserves based on STORY and not the Quality of the presentation.
Not my favorite movie but still for what it's worth It wasn't half bad.

Annabelle is a spin off movie and character doll from the Conjuring series. Even though I didn't much care for the Conjuring, I found myself intrigued to watch this movie about a Evil looking doll . Well turns out the doll wasn't in much of the movie, rather a evil entity / ghost figure, that well to be honest....we seen a hundred times in other movies before. Annabelle is not a bad movie, it's just nothing new. Sound effects and noises heard through surround speakers is just about the high points in the scare factor.

What a great movie for the whole family. Disney / Marvel teamed up with SONY Pictures to bring Spider-Man to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The ( MCU ). It's something that I feel should have been done a long time ago. Spider-Man made a cameo in Marvel's : Captain America Civil War and by combining not only the Marvel characters from two different Movie companies they actually created a story arch that ties directly into what's been happening in the Disney owned properties such as Avengers Age of Ultron and sets up events yet to Come in Avengers : Infinity War. Having Spider-man in that cast seems only fitting and Tom Holland does a wonderful job not only playing the part of Peter Parker but he did 90% of his own stunts behind the Spider-man Mask. It just felt like you knew the character already. Spider-man is a HUGE part of the Marvel Universe and it may be safe to say he might even be the Flag-ship of MARVEL Comics. The movie seems fast paced and really there is no origin story because let's face it ... the other movies already out have done Spider-man origin enough. We all know who Peter Parker is by now. I liked this movie better than the previous installments with Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire. There is nothing here though that's original or mind blowing that you haven't seen before but I thought the script was well written and the support cast was good and just having Michael Keaton back in movies was a treat in itself. Spider-man in 3D is just sugar on top. Those fans of Marvel Movies will indeed love this offering from SONY.

They call it a night light however this mask uses red LED to illuminate the eyes. It doesn't produce enough light to see in the dark. I bought this for display purposes. This looking to brighten up a room in the dark may want to stay clear of this one. The quality of the material used is a hard plastic shell. Doesn't weigh much and hanging it on a wall is very simple with the provide template. I'm overall happy with this purchase.

Try replacing your HDMI cable to a 2.2 or 2.2a compliant cable.
There is a new standard when it comes to 4K content that only works with those type HDMI cables.
So if you have a HDMI cable from 2 years ago... well you will see all kinds of problems when playing back 4K content.

I just bought this DVD player today and in the initial setup it was fine. Now this evening I turn it on and all the TV screen says is invalid format. Any suggestions I would appreciate.
Make sure the HDMI cable you are using is HDMI 2.2 compliant.
Make sure if your are using a 4K TV you go into the TV options and set the TV setting to accept 4K pass through from the Player to the TV
Make sure your TV supports more than 1 HDMI input that is 2.2 compliant. If only 1 input is compliant you will need to switch your cable to that input.
Make sure you are using a USA region Bluray Disc. Not all Blu-ray disc are Region Free meaning if you bought something on the internet and had it shipped from overseas... possible you are using a Region Locked Bluray disc.

Why can't my new LG UP970 4K ultra HD player play regular blu ray discs on a regular 1080 HD TV (non 4K TV)?
Most likely you are using a old standard HDMI cable.
Try looking for a 2.2 hdmi cable.
All 4K players require the new standard 2.2a HDMI out connection.
The HDMI going into the display or AVR does not have to be 2.2 compatible to receive the signal but the player sending it does.

Any projector that uses a HDMI 2.2 out will be able to play a 4K movie using a 4K UHD player
The problem with many projectors and the way they label them is kinda confusing.
When you say a HD 1080p projector I assume you mean will you be able to watch regular Blu-ray disc using this player on your projector.
The answer is yes.
However if you want to watch a UHD 4K disc on a projector that can only output 1080p
This player or any player will downscale the image to 1080p format.
True 4K projectors will cost you a lot of money right now but there are other options if you are thinking about upgrading.
There are some projectors on the market that can Pixel Shift and upscale the image from a 4K UHD disc to give you near 4K quality.
