Really quick to install (make sure your system has a C wire, or be prepared to buy a $30 adapter!). Setting up took less than 15 minutes, including app download.
After booking it up, had fun messing around with the settings. Tons of personalization options to have your HVAC system exactly how you want it.
Now... to get some paint to cover the spot where the old $5 thermostat was...

Great for exercising... not for video sources.

These are pretty nifty headphones. Fit in really well, and have a premium sound similar to headphones twice the price. My only issue is if you watch a video source such as YouTube or streaming service of your choice, the audio doesn’t sync with lips (I wasn’t able to figure out a way to sync, at any rate).
Not a huge mark against it, since they are aimed at being exercise headphones, and they do that really well. After a nice jog, my headphones didn’t fall out because of sweat, and being true wireless, there was NO neck collar piece flopping about! :)
Great set of accessories. Case gives you an addition 8 hours of playback, so you get the 12 hours advertised.

Used this a lot this weekend, making a potato and corn chowder, as well as a pumpkin pie. Worked fantastic, and has replaced an old “boat motor blender” I’ve had for years that has seen better days. A great unit to have when you don’t feel like pulling the huge kitchenaid out of the closet. Feels durable, easy to clean.

This is a fantastic cable. Very well built and looks beautiful. Slightly larger than the stock cable, so if you have a stand it won’t fit, but as a stand alone charger to keep in a bag or purse, or a backup in a desk drawer, this works fantastically. Charges incredibly fast. My 1st gen Apple Watch charged 10 min quicker than usual.

First, let me get this out of the way... this is adorable!
Ok... this is a fun little distraction. With the app, you can do short adventures, and as a stand-alone Spidey can tell jokes, do basic interactions, comment on his fellow heroes, and his spidersense guards the room.
In my office, he’s mostly there just looking cute, but was really catching the attention of co-workers. For kids, there is limited playability (only the arms move a little) but for younger kids this will really entertain them. It reminds me a lot of the 80’s toy, Teddy Ruxpin.
Hopefully a future Venom Sphero is released, as he’s the main baddie on the box and is part of the adventures.
Overall, he’s a fun little gimmick that is sure to entertain 6-10 yr olds... he definitely entertains this 30-something.
Did I mention he’s adorable?

I’ve used this projector under various conditions using various sources, and overall it’s proven to be a fairly reliable device. Picture quality is superb, audio, however, sounds a little small and “tinny”. Once I split the audio off to a 3W portable speaker, it was perfect.
Now, for sources... First was a Samsung notebook 9 at my office. In a fairly lit office conference room on a standard pullscreen, graphs were sharp, colors rich, and fan noise was minimum. Audio sounded hollow, and could barely be heard over typical meetingroom chatter. Picture slides looked amazing, right out of the box.
If your work environment is quiet during multimedia presentations, this is a great projector for the money.
Next source was an AppleTV at my home. While this is a business projector not a movie projector, I wanted to put it through every kind of test a geek could think of. Against a white wall, watching a digital copy of starwars, colors were again rich, details were sharp, but black levels aren’t as deep as a true home theater projector, however, for a small business owner that might want to take the projector home on a weekend to play a movie for the kids, it can do a decent enough job, if attached to a decent audio system.
Final source, a gaming pc. I know a lot of people might think multimedia = gaming, so I decided to try the projector on that, as well. Booting up Guild Wars 2, it looked really good. Better, in my opinion, than the movie, but not as sharp as the regular “boring” work graphs.
Overall, if you want a great business machine that you can also sneak out of the office on weekends, I highly recommend the Epson vs355. It’s a quiet workhorse that will make your business presentations shine and be fun during weekend family events as well.

I've been in the market for a super light PC for casual use. Most of my social media-ing and web surfing is done on my iPad Pro, but some sites just aren't mobile friendly, and I occasionally enjoy playing the mmorpg Guild Wars 2. This laptop doesn't play it at ultra, but it does a much better job than my 2013 Mac Mini, which just locks up and resets.
This is very light, and feels fairly sturdy. Screen is sharp and the backlit keyboard is a nice luxury. Overall it's a nice package. My only concern is the minimal amounts of ports/USB and no upgrade access. So be sure it's what you want when you get it coz no ram or hard drive access, just a microsd slot.
Overall, it's lightning fast (as are all new computers) and holds a charge really well. Just casual messing around with it for 3 hours and it's still at 75%. Most computers would be 20% or less.

Fantastic security device. I really like the easy to see LED light ring around the lens letting you know exactly the state of the camera. Video is very clear and full of detail. If someone breaks into your home, you'll easily see their face or any distinguishing marks or tattoos.
Two-way intercom mode is great for pet owners or "long distance parenting" when kids get home from school and think no one will see the extra cookie.

Night video mode is the sharpest I've seen on a camera! It's grayscale, not green, and at most maybe 1/10 of the detail is lost! Really a tech marvel for a home consumer product!
App is extremely easy to use. Won't need a college course to navigate. Plug camera in, turn on Bluetooth on phone, create account, and poof! You are ready to go! Took me longer to get the twisty off the USB cord than it did to set up the camera!

This is a pretty nifty robot. I've been wanting one since they debuted at the Consumer Electronics Show years ago. Out of the box, it's quite large. Like "1960's turntable" large, but not very tall. It easily glides under sofas and chairs. After a download of the app and setting up, I let it do its thing. Roomba got confused by my rug, and I can't figure out what algorithms are used to calculate where to go next... it just seems to wander aimlessly and does quite a bit of backpeddling.
My biggest quibble is it has very little storage space in the refuse bin. I have 2 large dogs and two cats, so fur shedding is definitely something that requires a lot of attention. The Roomba did ok, but filled the bin really quickly. I'm going to have to give a good overall vacuuming with the cannister vacuum before letting the little roomba go about as daily chores.
It is cute from a Starwars fan perspective... it's like I have my own "pet" droid! It's fun to watch it just glide around the floor like a character from WallE or starwars, just minding its own business and maybe bumping into the occasional wall.
If you have a big room or multiple hairy pets, I'd skip the roomba, unless you want it for entertainment purposes only. If you have a smaller room or very little carpet, Roomba does a pretty good job of localized cleaning.

Get new use from your old headphones

Like most humans today, I've got at least 100 pairs of white iPhone headphones. Many never even opened. With this divice, I can use them as a wireless set for on the go, or any other time where using my expensive Bluetooth set would be risky. These would also be great for kids. Find a pair of kid-safe headphones and you don't need to worry about tangled cords!
Sound quality takes a slight dip from the conversion to a Bluetooth format, but otherwise these are definitely a great piece of tech to have in the house!

Are you able to put your eye prescription on the frames?
Yes. The lenses are plain Jane, run of the mill polarized lenses. These are regular Raybans, so they accept prescriptions… however, talk with your eyeware specialist to see if they’ll do the custom lenses needed. Not all places accept outside frames, and many more are unsure about messing with tech glasses frames.

Is the scroll button easy to press on this?
I have had no issues with it. I find it smooth and intuitive with it’s design and feel. Every person will have their own experience, but I think overall it’s going to please far more people than it will irk. It’s a nice mouse. I’ve had dozens of gaming mice, and so far, this has been my favorite.
