missed opportunities abound

this feels to me like the sequel to a better film - the flashbacks to Tarzan and Jane meeting and her life in Africa feels like the better film - there is real power to their story but considering how busy the plot is, no real emotional connection with anything else - basically, the human stories are very lost amid the special effects - a wasted opportunity - and don't get me started on how wrong Samuel L Jackson was!

For most movie lovers, seeing the Coen Brothers attached to a movie is enough - for all the "trademark" touches, especially in these later years, a Coen Brothers movie is always original - this is a lesser but no less wonderful movie - Because the film takes place over the course of 1 very long day in the life of a studio fixer, you don't get to know any of the characters he's dealing with very well - the fact that I would love to see all the characters in more depth and detail shows what a terrific glimpse the Coen Brothers offer us

Two questions 1. Can I tape a program directly from my TV to the recorder to make an instant DVD ? 2. What inputs are there on the recorder to accommodate whatever cables can be brought in ? Can RCA cables be used ? Can USB cables ? Can HDMI cables? C

1. You can record from whatever device the input is coming from. Does the TV have outputs?

2. Inputs include DV, A/V, S-video, RCA-video and analog audio. There is no DVD recorder that has HDMI input available in the US. Something to do with laws and/or copy-write.
