tricky film to pull off considering that we all know how this came out - Tom Hanks is excellent as Sully and Aaron Eckhart is terrific as his co-pilot - We found ourselves enthralled and worried for Sully despite knowing what happened in real life - a lot like "Apollo 13" in that regard - only quibble is about the very underutilized Laura Linney but we're not sure how they could have incorporated her any better

We are hoping that there will be a season 2 of this series - it is a slow starter but patience will be rewarded - wonderful music and beautiful cinematography enhance scripts that suck the viewer into this time period and these characters - the series is based on a series of books by Max Allan Collins but the series take his title character and goes its own way entirely

Two questions 1. Can I tape a program directly from my TV to the recorder to make an instant DVD ? 2. What inputs are there on the recorder to accommodate whatever cables can be brought in ? Can RCA cables be used ? Can USB cables ? Can HDMI cables? C

1. You can record from whatever device the input is coming from. Does the TV have outputs?

2. Inputs include DV, A/V, S-video, RCA-video and analog audio. There is no DVD recorder that has HDMI input available in the US. Something to do with laws and/or copy-write.
