Simple packaging and very easy and quick setup once you download the software. The pointer is extremely slim and lightweight...just what you need from a presentation pointer. Being able to charge up in a little over a minute to get 3 hours of use with the included USB C cable is wonderful.
The pointer itself has very simplified interface, you have only three buttons at your disposal: a large "forward" in the middle; a smaller "back" arrow below it; and a third bullseye button that sits at the top of the slender wand.
Customization is what make this pointer so powerful in my opinion. The functionality of these buttons isn't fixed; you customize the actions they execute using the companion app. So, for example, where a quick press on the main button might move you on to the next slide, a longer hold can be set to launch the magnification feature; a raised hand gesture can trigger changes in volume.
A final neat touch is the haptic feedback, you can configure the Spotlight to vibrate at set times, which could be beneficial to pacing your presentation and your overall timing.
It's compatible with most of the presentation software you're likely to encounter including PowerPoint, Google Slides, Prezi and Apple Keynote.
I give it a solid 5 stars but the price needs to come down a bit for most users like myself to justify the premium price.

Near perfect but for lack of more LAN and USB port
on January 15, 2017

from Queens, NY
First be careful unboxing the Linksys Velop system as the towers come individually protectively wrapped in a thin layer of form fitting laminated cardboard. They are upon pulling from their resting spot in the box very easy to slip out of the cardboard and fall on the floor and in my case ouch onto my toe.
The Velop system I can safely say is the best system I ever tested in seamlessly giving excellent coverage and connection speed throughout my house and unattached solid brick gargage that is about 20 feet from my house. In addition my house is an older house that lacks an open floor plan and has lots of doors and plaster/metal lath walls.
The units each have two gigabit LAN ports but NO USB PORTS which is a shame for those like me that have hard drives and non wireless printers that I share using USB ports on my old routers.
Some further manufacturer specs are: Each Velop node is basically an AC2200 router that can deliver speeds of up to 400Mbps on the 2.4GHz band and 867Mbps on each of the two 5GHz bands. Inside each node are six antennas, tri-band 802.11ac circuitry (one 2.4GHz band and two 5GHz bands), a quad-core processor and 512MB of RAM. The Velop Wi-Fi system support Multi-User Multiple Input, Multiple Output (MU-MIMO) data streaming, which transmits data to compatible devices simultaneously rather than sequentially, allowing for faster all-around throughput speeds. In order to get the full benefit you need devices that allow or can utilize these features.
Velop offers a nice set of management features, including parental controls, guest networking, device prioritization, and a handful of advanced settings (port forwarding, MAC filtering, and Internet connection type).
The app is nice to use and it guides you throughly in setting up each node and indicates if in range or out of range, allowing for moving to better location. I set up one node on my first floor, near my modem, another in my garage and the other in my basement...I think two would have been enough as my house is a little under 4100 square feet.
If your a power user you will find many advance features you are accustomed to not accessible and also there’s no web-based interface: It’s the mobile app, or nothing.
Coverage in all areas was improved drastically over my old systems, no dead zones, no weak spots and everyone had fast access. I have 3 roku, 18 tablets/iPads/smartphone hones/laptops/desktops and 3 gaming systems along with several connected smart TVs. No issues...great system.
The main issue is lack of additional LAN ports on any of the nodes or any USB ports. I think there is a number of users that like me have multiple devices near their modem that they want or desire to have direct connect to LAN ports...I have both a desktop and full size laptop that I prefer to be direct connect.
I am not sure the reasoning for this top quality product to not include multiple LAN ports and at least one USB ports on one of the nodes. Could not be cost as this a very expensive router.
Other than this lack of ports...the system is very good for families that desire simple install and quick web access but for power users many features are currently lacking as well as needed extra LAN ports and USB ports...therefore 4 stars.

The product is both bulky and clunky, which makes its usefulness limited if maintaining mobility is your aim for your iPhone 7 series, which lack a headphone jack. You will still need headphones and a charging adapter.
A short cable connects the Lightning plug to the phone or iPad where two Lightning cables can be inserted — one Lightning cable for charging and one for audio but you can’t plug in two charging cables or two audio cables at once, if you had any desire to do so.
The best thing I can say is the device works and does its job well but adds too muck bulk to your iPhone 7s reducing the mobility of the device. If your in need of a wired headphone then the device fulfills this purpose.
But if you are in need of charging and listening at the same time then you are tied to your nearest power outlet or a portable battery, which again adds more bulk in addition to the Belkin adapter and the other cables...you see where I am going.
Being stationary is where the product shines but all that being said I think you might just be better off with a decent set of Bluetooth headphones. But if you prefer wired headphones then this does solve your jackless iPhone 7s.
If the cable was shorter and less bulky then I think it could be well received. But overall the product feel well made and all the cables feel durable. If you do not mind the additional bulk and possible limited mobility but want the use of your wired headphones, then yes good deal overall. But not for me.

So once I got the unit unpacked, read through the included quick start up guide...a more detailed PDF 78 page manual is available on the website for download...I had all the units powered up and ready for final camera placement in under one hour.
Placement is also very quick if being used indoors or even outdoors because of the small size of the camera, the flat camera base and the strong magnetic power in the rear of the two cameras. You can place camera indoors on any flat surface without having to use any mounting device or use the wall mountable metal bases.
Network setup was a breeze, I did connect the included Arlo hub not to my router but to my gigabit switch to avoid any possible interference with my router...others seem to indicate it is best to have the Arlo hub away from the router. I did eventually test it both ways and it did seem faster with direct router connection so really as far as I am concern no router interference. My cable network provider provides me 300mbps.
The picture quality is very, very good at 720 but 1080 would be much better especially given the cost. Nighttime clarity is also very good given the size of the camera itself. I do love how small and well balanced the camera weight is, this adds to the ease of camera placement.
I placed the cameras initially facing indoors then mounted them outdoors using the metal base. Overall this process was completed within 30 minutes indoors and a little over an hour for outdoors.
Recently the cameras weathered a mini snowstorm that had 30-40mph gusty winds with total snowfall of 9 inches. Neither camera suffered any water or physical damage, neither lost its connection before or after the storm, neither camera lost its point of view placement and battery life continued to be 100 percent even though temperatures for the last 3 days averaged 20F.
All of this makes the product a solid 5 stars but now for the loss of a star reasons.
The battery seems to be proprietary to Arlo and worse, they are very, very expensive...in excess of $40 per battery. No stand alone battery charger is included and that too is expensive. The only way to charge the battery is to use the camera to charge by plugging camera into a power outlet using the including charging cable and adapter.
This means unless you have a power outlet near the camera or a portable battery, you will need to move or unmount the camera to bring it to be charged. Which unfortunately means your security will be compromised until camera is moved back to position or remounted. This can be avoided by purchasing at least one extra battery and of course a stand alone charging adapter. I think overlook the proprietary issues but I feel for the price that Arlo should include a stand alone charger.
If you like me mount your cameras outside up high then charging can be a tedious task but I feel so far that the battery life seems to be on the order of weeks if not months given that it is not continuously recording.
Another issue is that the Arlo hub and cameras seem to only talk to each other and that the cameras do not seem to have any addressable IP so that you cannot possibly add the camera views to an existing security system.
Everything from the stand alone charger, the batteries and Arlo hub seem to be very proprietary. But that aside, the ease and quickness of setup, lack of any wires, picture quality and durability make the system a pleasure to use. The ability to move the cameras at the spur of the moment to anywhere on your property and the wireless range all over come the loss of the star.
I would gave ARLO/NETGEAR 4 1/2 stars. The half star loss is due to the fact of a weakness due to the proprietary nature of how Arlo process the data. When you call up a live picture view, it can take from 5 to as long as 10 seconds before the view comes up...regardless of how the Arlo hub is hooked up...directly to my router or my switch. I believe that the data is first sent to Arlo web servers then back to your device for viewing because the cameras do not seem to be using non-proprietary IP protocols.
As others have said the two way sound is good coming from the camera to your device but low and weak going to the camera.
I love the system, the design, the ability to hide the cameras and the very, very loud siren. Still experimenting with the various ways to set up the viewing and alarm features but this is a keeper...in addition to my wired NVR IP security system that took over two week to mount and install and make holes in my house...ugh...this ARLO NETGEAR was such a pleasure to set up.

I got my product two day ago and assembled it the same day and put it into use for the holidays. It comes with 1600-Watt Motor Base with Auto-iQ Boost, 88 ounce Pitcher with Lid and Pour Spout (about 80 ounce total though) A set of very, very powerful rust free Total Crushing Blades, (2) 24 ounce cups and an 18 ounce cup and (3) Spout Lids, Instruction Book, a very nice 20-Recipe Inspiration Guide and a useful (to me) Quick Start Guide. The box shows two bases but it does in fact only include one base.
I am a first time user of these types of fruit smoothie blenders and must say this is a pleasure to use. The jars are all BPA free plastics and not microwavable nor useable for hot items.
The blades are the most difficult part to set up but that is basically a breeze. The power of the motor seems suitable for a small snow blower. The motor completely obliterates the fruit and other ingredients and makes the smoothie a real professional smoothie you pay money to get at fancy stores. Strawberries, omg are so delicious, ice cream smoothies are the best. I just love the machine and love the smaller jars to blend smaller on the go portions.
I think the overall design, easy of cleanup, power and durability make this one machine to make part of your permanent kitchen appliances. I feel healthier for just having it. I can not wait to experiment with more fruits and whatever else I can think of. Ah yes great for making delicious adult beverages...really fun experimenting so far.
Buy it!, it can replace at least two kitchen appliances so you will have room to make it a staple appliance on your countertop.
One other important thing is the stacking nature of these blades and the IQ programs are what makes mixing ingredients throughly better on this blender than other blenders I have seen at friends homes.

I am always looking for thin and light cases that can display the color of your devices front and BACK. Check, this one hits all the marks. It is a breeze to install, done in under 5 minutes including the install of a simple snap screen protector. Be sure to remove all the interior plastic backings before installing as I missed one. I had to reopen but even that was quick with the included plastic key to reopen the case.
But in any regard, all the openings and cut outs line up perfectly, the sensors worked flawlessly, the camera and flashes all continued to capture great pictures. The fingerprint sensor is protected and continues to work the same with or with case in place.
The water tight intergrity does not seem effected by the addition of my simple snap glass screen protector. I tested it very quickly and so far no issues. The case does of course add some weight and dimension but you get some security with the water intergrity and drop protection. It is clearly a well made case with above average protection and considerable lighter and thinner than otterbox defender series cases.
I got it for $97.49 which is costly but very few cases if any offer this much protection and the ability to see the color of your device front and back...I do not understand why all cases are not clear in the back. What is the point of selecting a color for your device if no one including you will see it. I later obtained a very nice bestbuy price match guarantee that reduced the effective price with tax to under $83.
Cover your iPad Air screen with this Simple Snap protector. Tempered glass with a 9H hardness factor reduces the risks of cracks or scratches, even if your device is bumped or dropped, and a waterproof application keeps moisture from the screen. This Simple Snap protector adheres quickly to your screen and won't interfere with touch controls.

I bought it for my iPad Pro 9.7, all the cuts line up and nothing seems blocked. This was the easiest install of a screen protector ever. The included cleaning accessories were used and in under 3 minutes the deed was done. Not one single bubble to squeeze out and no dust or lint got trapped accidentally. I hope they expand the line to include more devices other than just Samsung and apple.
The snap template is a pleasure to use. I then installed a nuud case and so far no issues with the water tight capability of that case.
So my iPad Pro is fully protected back and front and the see through nature if the nuud case means I and others can see the back of my iPad beautiful rose gold color.

I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised by this device. Essentially all I wanted it for was for the main razor head, the precision detailer, and the beard comb. I have used everything and am very impressed.
MOTOR The motor is a little quieter than my previous trimmer. You can also really hear the difference in the motor between heads, with the motor moving much faster/louder on the precision detailer than the main comb, etc.
MAIN TRIMMER The main trimmer is very functional. Most of the time when I am using this it is combined with the beard trimmer guide comb. Setting the beard trimmer comb to the desired length can be a bit difficult but after a while I got the hang of it.
DOUBLE FOIL BODY SHAVER This is the thing more than any other that I was very pleasantly surprised with. The way it is designed is it has trimmer (kind of like mini clipper blades) blades on either side of the double foil shaver so no matter which direction you need to go or how you are holding it you can move it any direction and it will trim then shave the area. It sometimes takes a few passes from different angles, but the way it is designed this usually just means running it back and forth rather than contorting to odd angles like you do a razor. I have never experienced discomfort from using this thing. I absolutely love it.
CONCLUSION All in all it does everything expected of it, the double foil shaver ended up being a very pleasant surprise.

Well as owners of the IPad 2, IPad 4, iPad Air 1 and 2 and now the iPad Pro 9.7 128GB Rose Gold. I appreciate the new color option. I feel strongly that the 128GB configuration is a sweet spot. I think it gives you more than enough memory to store a large photo and music library and still have room for video intensive applications.
The finger print scanner is sensitive until I place an otter box case and then it becomes a bit more problematic especially with the latest iOS update. The screen fluidity and improved graphics are all noticeable over my prior iPad devices. The weight and thinness are all fantastic until I put that super heavy and thick otter box case but I want the protection.
But the real kicker is the FOUR speaker system which again is a fantastic improvement and allows very loud and clear playback from games, movies, videos and music without the need for additional speakers when using for personal listening or even to play in an enclosed room for company.
Great device with faster response time and great touch response.

Well I have had my iPad Air 2 for a bit over a year. The battery I easily get 8-10 hours with moderate to heavy usage...real pleasure on that front.
The touch response and fingerprint scanner all work flawlessly even in an otter box type case.
The graphics and speed execution and screen fluidity are an improvement in my "old" iPad Air 1. The memory configuration is a sweet spot allowing you to storage a huge photo and music library on the device with room to spare.
With the reduced Price and frequent sale price this is still a great buy for a very responsive and still cutting edge device. Get it if ON a budget but go for the 128GB configuration.

This has been the absolute worst electronic purchase ever! I am on my 3rd unit having 2 replacements sent to me from linksys as well as my 2nd range extender (the RE7000) that they have replaced as well. Invested 15-20 hours on the phone with foreign, yet pleasant enough, tech workers. I live in a square, 3,300 sf 2-story and cannot get consistent or far enough coverage. When paired with their extender to take advantage of the mumino technology, the internet fails to open at all on multiple devices, causing us to set up the extender under a different name and losing the purpose of why we bought in 1st place. After being refused to exchange into their new Velop product for all the problems, I ordered the Netgear Orbi yesterday and leaving the linksys brand forever ( I have purchased 9 routers from linksys in my lifetime for personal and rental homes ). Beyond frustrated and out $500...

Great Robo Cleaner at a Good Price
ByJBCTECH
I've been using robot vacuums for a few years and am a fan. The Samsung - POWERbot R7040 is my first experience with a next-generation model. There are great improvements in this one over my previous, 'bumper-car' versions: 1) Much better normal cleaning 2) option of a powerful turbo-cleaning mode 3) camera-aware movements which reduce the 'bumper-car' approach radically 4) options for manually controlling direction, spot cleaning, and repeat cleaning 5) an app that can control it from anywhere (and gives a diagram of where it went after a cycle) 6) a remote controller that can control it from anywhere in the home and manually direct it's path 7) a much more accessible, top-loading dirt collector that is easy to empty and clean. It was very easy to set up and start in auto mode. For me, dialing in the added features took some time and trial and error. Better instructions on these features would be a big help. For instance, in manual mode, I would click the directional arrow and it would stop but not move in the desired direction. It took awhile to discover that it wasn't just a matter of clicking, but you have to click and hold the arrows in the direction you want it to go (duh). Once I discovered this, it worked very well (though the sensitivities of manually controlling it are best left for directing it into an adjoining room when you're in a hurry for it to find it's way there - and not in the mood to carry it). I'm also not yet clear on how well the Spot function works. This is too early of a review to address that. All-in-all I'm very pleased with the way the POWERBot 7040 works. It is powerful, smart, simple and affordable!

brick?
In addition to having several things running on the wifi, I have a brick wall within my home that I need the wifi to travel through. Will this get through brick, and what is the maximum range?
I have brick in and around the house and inside my brick garage which is about 60 feet from the Router I still get a signal that says connected at about 25mbps.
