Best Router I've Ever Had

In short, this is, quite honestly, the best, and fastest, router I've ever had. The long (although not overly-long) version:
I've had a number of routers over the years, covering the majority of 802.11 standards, although I will state this is my first ac router. Ignoring that point, considering the fact that only our two laptops have 802.11ac (everything else on the network...currently consisting of 10 other devices...is 802.11n, or older), I have run several bandwidth speed comparisons, and the ASUS RT-AC68P has improved our overall bandwidth by a huge margin...and I haven't even optimized it yet.
As everyone knows (or should know), with DSL, you always get a slower sped than what you're paying for, whereas with cable internet, you always tend to get a faster speed - how much faster typically depends on your modem and/or router. While a small part of the bandwidth is dependent on the communication between the router & connected devices, a far greater part of it is related to the communication between the router & modem. Just to provide an easy-to-understand comparison, I've used speedtest.net for basic download & upload speed comparisons.
We currently subscribe to Comcast's "Performance" internet service, which claims a 50Mbps download bandwidth. With the old router, a Linksys 802.11n model that I will leave unnamed, download tests typically produced results in the 55-65Mbps range. With the new ASUS router, they have consistently been in the 85-90Mbps range, with occasional tests producing download speeds as high as 92Mbps. Again, these results have been achieved WITHOUT optimizing the routers settings. When/If I get around to optimizing the settings, I'm thinking it might be possible to get closer to 100Mbps, although I don't expect to hit triple-digit speeds.
I find it extremely interesting that there are a few routers currently available that are, essentially, the exact same (hardware-wise) as the RT-AC68P, with the only real difference being the installed software...yet, based on several reviews I've read, the ASUS RT-AC68P consistently produced better results. For those who prefer to overwrite the firmware with 3rd-party firmware, you could end up with even better results.
Do I recommend the ASUS RT-AC68P...heck yea!!!

Your laptop has to either have built-in Bluetooth, or you need to add a Bluetooth USB.
