I got this because i just wanted a simple alarm clock that works, looks good and most importantly is reliable.
This clock is very nice, easy to use. Took a little bit to figure out the buttons but now I love it. My only gripe is that it can only charge 1 usb. I don't care about charging iphones or waking up to my own music. To me its more important to just wake up to any sounds.
I also like that it has a battery in case of storms. The projector feature is really cool too. I thought it would be gimmicky but its great to look up in bed and see the time if you wake in the middle of the night.
If you want to charge more than 1 device, this clock isn't for you. or if you have an iphone then maybe you want an iphone type clock, but having usb means this will live past my next few phones.

No its the wrong size. Unless its a desktop with laptop internals like some slim pc.

I'm having trouble setting up the remote to control my cable box
I would try getting a later updated list of your provided codes for the cable box. Perhaps this tv is too new to be on that list.

Can the nature sounds stay on all night?
Our sound machine is broken and I like the rain setting to be on all night. From reading the specs it seems that the nature sounds are timed to come on when an alarm is set or only for a certain length of time before it shuts off.
It will stay on for as long as you like.

Use with iPod
If I connect my iPod to this radio will I be able to play music or only charge the iPod? If it does play music, what is the sound quality and will it be broadcast through the radio speaker? If it does not accomplish these results, can anyone recommend an am radio with iPod capability that does.
This will only charge your phone. It doesn't have an audio in jack and it will not stream any music to the clock.
