How difficult is it to set up a wireless printer?
I am an 80 year old who has a basic understanding of computers. I do have a wireless system set up in my home for TV, internet and phones. Do I need accessories to set up the computer. Does it just involve plugging a printer into a socket with my wireless house set up? Or do I have to physically connect my computer to the printer? My computer is on the first floor and the printer is on the second floor. My house is very small and I do not have room to keep the printer attached to the computer. I know this is a stupid question, but before I purchase a wireless computer, I need to be sure that I will be able to hook it up myself and have it work. Thank you very much.
Everything should hook up wirelessly, when you go to purchase the computer or printer the people at Best Buy should be able to explain everything to you as to the compatibility with each other.
I have all Apple products, cell phones & computers, I recently purchased an HP Envy 7640 printer and it was a simple set up, I can print from my iPhone's and my computers...all wirelessly, and my computer & printer are in different rooms.
The printer itself was easy to set up & had easy to follow step by step instructions.
