Pet Semetary adapts the novel just fine, it's just directed without intensity. The scares aren't very effective, the movie flows terribly without any sense of a plot. If you hadn't read the novel you would swear they were just making it up as they went along. The lead actor is also so boringly bad in his performance that the two child actors in the movie actually come off more convincing than him.
Killer Klowns from Outer Space. Title says it all. One of the zaniest most insane sci-fi movies ever made. Unfortunately this blu-ray looks no better than the DVD, but it's cheap and definitely the way to go if you've never seen it before.
The Fly is both an artistic film and a gorey fun one. It tells a sophisticated tale of man seeking to perfect himself and the world leading to terrible consequences. But it also features Jeff Goldblum slowly and disgustingly turning into a fly monster. Cerebral, and scary, The Fly is a classic example of science fiction filmmaking.
The Fog has a delightfully eerie atmosphere and chilling camp fire feel to it that makes it an ideal October movie despite its bland supporting cast. This Scream Factory blu-ray is also packed with features and a collectible packaging for fans of the film.

I wasn't sure which one of these I needed and the salesman asked me lots of questions of what I really needed one for and helped me pick out which one was the best for me. Plus it was on sale which made it even better!

I do not have the Disney Infinity game. But it's been cancelled and this figure was 5$. I adore the character of Ultron and this character was exactly the kind of figurine of the character I've been wanting. Very detailed and looks exactly like the film character. The pose is a bit strange but I put a red Lego canister piece in his hand and it looks even better.
The Killing Joke is often considered to be one of the best Batman stories of all time, and THE best Joker story of all time. Naturally this animated adaptation was highly anticipated by fans of the graphic novel. Unfortunately, the actual film is a disappointment. The animation feels like stiff and unfinished flash animation, and the film adds a 40 minute prologue to the story that feels like an episode of Desperate Housewives with Batgirl. The intro is boring, tedious, butchers the character of Batgiirl and features a shockingly unnecessary and completely uncomfortable love making scene between Batman and Batgirl that feels like something out of a parody on Robot Chicken. Mark Hamill and Kevin Conroy do give it their absolute all as Joker and Batman, but you can just look up those iconic scenes from the book on the Internet. It's not awful, but it feels like little effort was put in, and all the best parts are lifted straight from the Comic. You'd be better off reading that instead.
I don't know how to begin to explain Hail, Casear! unless you are familiar with the style and sense of humor of the film's writers/directors, The Coen Brothers. They have a strange one to be sure. The film's humor is very dry, scattered and allegorical. This is a film for a very specific audience, as it parodies Hollywood in the sixties, and communism. If your not aware of these things and how they are connected, I don't know how much you'll get out of it. Or even if you'll find it funny regardless. But if you know what your getting into with the film, it's sure to be a delight. If your not familiar, watch The Big Lebowski, and decide if you like the style or not.
