Bordering on disposable.

There are a lot of cheap portable projectors you can find these days for anyone looking to set up a movie night on the go. And many are well made and fully featured devices that offer a surprising amount of utility for the price. This unit is not one of them.
The unit bears all the hallmarks of a product being drop-shipped from some unknown Chinese factory. The unit I got arrived with very large fingerprints all over the lens, requiring me to clean it before I could get acceptable image quality. It rattles whenever you move it, and as far as I can tell this isn't the result of damage so much as the lens mounting and adjustments just being built far too loose to stay in place. And the light from the main lamp leaks out of several places on the casing, most notably the cover for the rear remote which looks to have paint smeared all over the inside of it. The core features are also exaggerated. I was told that I should focus on the adjustable screen size for this review - however I find it hard to justify doing it as it essentially doesn't have that ability. Most projectors offering variable screen size have a zoom wheel or slider that adjusts the focal range of the lens. This does not. You "adjust" the screen size by moving it closer to or further away from your projection surface, which means that if you want a larger screen you're going to end up with a much dimmer image. They claim that you can go up to 150" - based on my testing I'd say anything past 70 or so is probably optimistic unless you've got a pitch black room to work in. Though at the resolution it runs at, I'm not sure you really want to push it much more than that anyway. I also can't say much for the optics you get. It focuses well enough but the keystone correction is atrocious, badly blurring the top and bottom edges of the image if it's applied at all.
If you can look past the issues with the design and construction, the projector's overall performance is about what you'd expect. You've got a built in media player that can read common video and picture formats from a microSD card or thumb drive, a pair of HDMI ports, one VGA port, and an RCA port which will requires a 3.5mm adapter (not included.) They all worked when I tested them, although again the picture quality left a lot to be desired given how much downscaling is being applied.
If there is one defining virtue of this thing to be found, I'd say it's probably in the fact that it's cheap enough that I really wouldn't care what happened to it. This is the kind of thing to use on an outdoor movie night where you might need to deal with rain, or to give to a kid for them to play with. But if you're expecting a genuine bargain, I'd look elsewhere. You get exactly what you pay for here - a projector that's just short of being fully disposable.

Great picture, fewer cables

Epson's latest home theater projector makes an interesting case for why you should pick it up in place of a conventional TV. Anyone who's tried to set up a home theater for themselves can testify that one of the worst parts of the whole ordeal is figuring out how to run wires to the thing in a way that isn't immediately obvious. Epson's answer to this is to stick an Android TV streaming device inside the projector, allowing you to skip all that in favor of WiFi. It's definitely an elegant solution, though I'll admit I feel like there's still some room for improvement to be had.
First up though is everything that's great about the projector. Epson's 3LCD tech continues to deliver sharp and vibrant colors even in less than ideal lighting conditions, though obviously for best results you really should stick to a darkened room. The fans are located behind dust filters and noise baffles which do an exemplary job of keeping noise down to a minimum. And the Android TV streaming device works great, with support for pretty much every major (and most non-major) streaming platform out there. It's also got full support for RF 3D shutter glasses for anyone looking to play 3D movies on the thing, albeit you'll need to buy from a third party if you want to use that feature as Epson no longer manufactures glasses themselves.
The only thing that keeps me from giving it full marks is a lingering sense that it was rushed out the door. To be clear, there's nothing wrong with it, per se, just an abundance of somewhat odd design choices. One of the first ones made itself apparent when I was unboxing it and discovered two very different looking remote controls had been included. My first thought was that this was some kind of shipping error, and that the remote from another device accidentally got packed in the box, but then when I looked at the parts description I saw that they were both supposed to be there. After a little more reading I discovered that one remote is for the projector and the streaming device, while the second is only for the streaming device, with a note that seemed to suggest that you can use it independently of the projector. Maybe I just don't tinker with my home theater setup enough to know why or how one would want to do this, but this seemed like a very odd design choice to me that adds complexity where you don't need it. Why give us two remotes when only one is actually capable of running the full projector? And is there really anyone who's going to be eager to use the carcass of a dead projector as a streaming device if it does break down?
The second bit of weirdness came when I checked out the IO. The back of the projector has a very attractive cloth grille/filter secured with magnets covering up the speaker and the IR remote receiver. It's a very stylish alternative to the usual grid of ports and vents you get at the back of a projector, and I really liked the look of it. However as it turns out, the ports (such as they are) are still back there. And if you want to make any use of them, which presumably you will as I don't think anyone's going to be inclined to stick with the single small speaker built into the projector, you have to remove the grille and keep it off. I can't figure out why they didn't just build the thing with an appropriate pass-through for cables, particularly as they only included support for a standard 3.25mm audio jack and a single HDMI.
To be clear, I don't think these are deal breakers by any means. The core functionality you get with this thing is still rock solid. But this is also positioned as a flagship device - and with a flagship device you usually expect to see a lot more attention being paid to details like this. Hopefully the next iteration of the device can improve on these. But for now, the Home Cinema 2250 would still make a worthy addition to your home setup.

Premium experience on a budget

It feels a little odd describing any kind of mechanical keyboard as “mid-range.” Overkill is a concept baked into mechanical gaming keyboards at the most basic level. But after spending some time with the AW410K, it’s the only label I’ve come up with that fits.
To be clear, this should not be taken as a bad thing. Alienware has checked just about every box for what you might be looking for in a premium keyboard with this thing. USB passthrough, programmable per-key lighting, support for on board lighting profiles, Cherry MX switches, media controls, it’s all here. It very much feels like a premium device – it’s just not priced like one. Which makes it a great choice for anyone looking for a slightly more affordable option for their gaming setup.
Build quality overall is good. The frame is primarily plastic, however there’s an aluminum top plate to help add some additional rigidity. I did still note a small amount of deck flex in my testing, but not enough to strike me as a major concern. It has support for three separate angles of elevation with the built in two-stage feet, and while it lacks any kind of wrist rest the frame’s “chin” isn’t large enough to interfere with me adding one of my own. The switches are standard Cherry MX browns, and the keycaps are the usual single-molded translucent plastic with a thick layer of black paint sprayed over top. Connectivity is provided by a VERY thick braided USB cable with two connectors (1 for the keyboard and 1 for a pass-through port on the rear) that looks like you’d need a bolt cutter to get through. And there’s no rattling or shaking I can detect even when I’m banging away on the keys.
Speaking of, the user experience is also good, though there is a bit of room for improvement. The keys are satisfyingly tactile without being completely deafening, it’s plenty responsive for gaming (though admittedly the brown switches are a bit better tuned for typing) and the RGB effects are clearly visible even in a well-lit room. The one weak point is the Alienware Command Center app you need to use to program custom lighting setups. The tools they give you for this are very rudimentary and the interface is not at all intuitive, and I hope that future updates to the tool will address this with a better interface and more complex options to mix the library of pre-defined effects (or at the very least compatibility with other RGB ecosystems.)

Lightweight design, heavyweight sound!

One could be forgiven for overlooking the Elo X. At first glance there's not much to make it stand apart from any of a hundred other gaming headsets you might find on the market. There aren't any fancy RGB effects, wireless support, mic pass through, or any of a hundred other gimmicks that have been used to make headsets stand out from the competition. The moment you actually put it on and start playing sound through it though, you'll realize that this is far from another disposable budget headset.
The first thing you'll notice is that you don't need to do anything to adjust the headset to fit your head. The two stiff metal hoops stretching over your head, which would usually slide up and down into the frame supporting the ear cups, are fixed in place. Instead the padded headband beneath them will stretch to fit your particular noggin, then sit obediently in place while you play. At first I thought this might be a nuisance, that I'd be able to feel the headband trying to pull back down on my head over prolonged use, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that I barely noticed it. Special mention also should go to the contouring done on the thick memory foam pads on each ear cup, designed to reduce the pressure they put on the frames of any glasses you might be wearing. I'm not going to say this was ever a huge issue for me, but it's definitely one of those small little touches that you appreciate once you've got it.
As comfortable as the headset is though, that's not really what I'd consider to be the primary selling point for this thing. That would be the audio quality, which completely blew away my expectations. The 50mm drivers in this headset produce absolutely fantastic sound, easily the match of headsets that list for four times as much. I tested it out with game audio, music, netflix, and random Vlogs on YouTube and in each case the sound was clear, rich, and thoroughly engrossing. The noise cancelling boom mic included was also thoroughly impressive. While it's admittedly not quite up to the level of what you'd want for content creation or regular streaming it delivered what I'd describe as above average performance in Discord, as well as offering pretty decent dictation performance.
There are admittedly a few areas for improvement. There's no built in support for USB audio or an adapter to start, so you're going to need a conventional headphone/mic jack for whatever you plan to use it for. I also found the built in volume and mic mute controls on the back of the left ear to be a bit inconveniently placed, though admittedly I don't think it would be a problem if my hair were as short as it was in the time before the pandemic cut off access to barbers. And the permanently fixed cable is a little on the short side (though the included splitter to let you use two pole connectors does address this by adding on a few inches.) For this quality of audio at this price though, I'd say these minor inconveniences are worth putting up with.

ROCCAT’s award-winning Vulcan keyboard series has made a giant leap forward with the introduction of a tenkeyless variants. More and more gamers are recognizing that the number pad represents a relic from office days and is almost never used while gaming. This new generation is growing up without the sentimentality for traditional form factors. Instead, they’re uniquely aware of the benefits of tenkeyless: less desk real estate taken up by their keyboards means they can have a larger pad and use a bigger range of a mouse movements, ultimately giving them greater accuracy. The ROCCAT Vulcan TKL Pro gives gamers the award-winning feature set of the original Vulcan in a smaller form factor. The low-profile design is engineered for comfort and to reduce typing fatigue. Enjoy impressive durability and build quality thanks to its reinforcing black anodized aluminum top plate, with switch housings designed to resist the dust build-up that typically affects mechanical keyboards. The addition of a detachable USB-C cable provides users with easier portability, especially with the on-board storage of a tournament profile for the same top performance at home and away. Dedicated mixer-style audio controls, and per-key AIMO RGB lighting round out a gaming powerhouse. The ROCCAT® Vulcan TKL Pro also boasts the prized linear Titan Switch Optical. ROCCAT is the first in the industry to engineer an optical switch that has a familiar mechanical key stroke feeling. This technology equips you with lightspeed actuation and incredible precision – a pivotal competitive advantage.

Ultra responsive gaming device, okay keyboard.

I've tried a fair number of mechanical keyboards over the years, but this was my first experience with one using optical rather than electrical switches. And my feelings on it are a bit complicated.
There is definitely a lot of stuff that Roccat does right with this keyboard. The low profile design showing off each and every switch is striking. The build quality is exemplary, with a stylish brushed metal top plate and thick plastic body that exhibits absolutely no deck flex that I could detect. And the optical switches live up to their promise of delivering lightning fast response times in gaming with fewer points of failure and a smoother action than you'd get with a conventional switch. All in all, I'd have to say it's a very good gaming peripheral.
What keeps me from giving it a full five stars is the fact that I'm a little less impressed by its performance as a standard computer peripheral. Simply put, actually using this board to type isn't great. There is no wrist pad, feet that only support a single angle of elevation, and the larger keys like the spacebar and shift keys have some extra play in them that results in them giving off a distinct "TWANG" noise when I hit them. There's also something weird going on with the ergonomics, as I find it very hard to spend more than a few minutes typing on it before wrist pain starts to set in.
Now, in the interest of fairness, I feel I should probably point out that what keyboards do and do not work can vary widely from person to person. Just because my wrists can't tolerate this board doesn't mean that yours won't either - so I'd strongly recommend you go to a store and try one for yourself if you can before making your final decision. But speaking for myself, I just can't bring myself to rely on this as a daily driver.

Sturdy little air fryer.

Air fryers seem to be everywhere these days with their tempting offers of deep fried textures and flavors without the risk of igniting a massive pot of vegetable oil. The Bella Pro delivers on that promise with a straightforward and easy to use device that should be perfect for anyone looking to take their first plunge into air frying.
Operation is about as simple as you can get. Pull out the basket, load it with food, stick it back in, then give it a temperature and time and let it go. In my time using it I found that it tends to cook most things within the time specified on the recipe, and crispiness was usually excellent so long as I either left a lot of room for air to flow through the basket or remembered to shake it several times during the cooking cycle to allow everything inside to be evenly cooked.
There are really only a few complaints I have about the unit, mostly to do with cleaning it. The basket and the removable grille are both non-stick and according to the instructions dishwasher safe, however I'm not entirely convinced the coating is durable enough for regular washing in that manner. The finish on the grille in particular seems to be a bit irregular and fairly easy to scratch, and while it suggests that both the basket and grille be washed on the top rack of a dishwasher I'm hard pressed to see how that would work given how big they both are. The temperature on this unit also only goes up to 400 degrees, which falls short of the recommended temperature for several of the frozen foods I purchased to try in it. While I was still able to cook these by increasing the cook time, the texture of the final result did suffer a bit.

Epic design, more mundane features.
on October 2, 2020

If I had to pick a single phrase to describe these headphones, I think it would have to be "Feature rich." As I suppose is fitting for a piece of hardware named Epic, JLab seems to have set out to fit every possible feature, perk, and option they could think of into these things' casings. It's an impressive bit of engineering to be sure, but unfortunately one that doesn't always live up to the promise of getting absolutely everything you might want within a single set of earbuds.
Like most earbuds in this form factor, they come tucked safely inside a hard carrying case that doubles as a charger/battery. I've seen a lot of these over the years, and I have to admit that the one you get here is pretty impressively thought out, if a little on the chunky side. The earbuds are held in place with magnets while charging, which means they tend to immediately snap into place when you're trying to put them away. A set of four small LEDs let you get information on the charging state of both the left and right buds as well as the case's internal battery, and the lid is secured with a combination of another strong magnet and an invisible soft latch built into the hinge. Flipping it over you'll find a permanently integrated reversible type-A USB cable for charging. It is only a few inches long and not quite flexible to avoid some awkward balancing acts when using it, but fortunately it's also complemented by support for QI wireless charging. The combined battery life of the earbuds and the case is advertised at an impressive seventy hours, and assuming the battery figures I get from their app are accurate I'm pretty sure most of it's in the case.
The earbuds themselves are pleasantly solid in their construction, and come with a wide array of different options for fitting them to your ears. The flexible clips that hold them in place can be a little bit on the tight side if you have larger ears like myself, but once they were seated properly I found them to be quite comfortable. You get six pairs of replaceable tips to size them to you in the box, including one set of "cloud foam" ones that offer something close to a universal fit while blocking out a lot more ambient audio than the conventional silicone options. There are also no buttons to be found anywhere on the case - only a single large and easy to find touch sensor on each one that can respond to 1, 2, or 3 taps for a total of 6 commands that can be programmed in the companion app. The design seems more or less sweat proof with the exception of the two exposed charging contacts that are generally pointed towards the inside of your ear - but so long as you make sure to wipe them down before putting them in the case I don't think they're likely to be a problem. And in the event that you just need a hands free earpiece to take a call, either earbud can operate independently.
Unfortunately it's now time to delve into their actual functionality as earbuds. And I'm afraid that here they do start to lose some ground.
As basic tools to pipe audio into your ears, the earbuds are fine. Audio quality is slightly above average for something like this, which is to say that it's got enough bass response to distract from the slightly tinny sound that comes from having drivers this tiny providing sound. Where it starts to struggle is when you try to make use of the more advanced options, specifically the active noise cancellation and audio pass through modes. It tested this feature against a few of the more common types of noise that I'd usually be seeking to block out when I'm using earbuds: an air conditioner, a desk fan, engine noise, and wind noise. I found the noise cancellation had little to no effect on any of them. While you could tell it was there and doing something, it wasn't enough of a difference to have a sizeable impact on the listening experience. Switching to pass-through mode, which picks up and plays back ambient audio such as cars or shouting bikers to improve your situational awareness, was even more frustrating. The audio that came through was smothered by white noise and featured a substantial delay. It will do its job at making sure you can hear a car bearing down on you while you run around the neighborhood - but you pay for it. Given that both of these features cause battery life to drop precipitously once they're turned on, anyone who cares about these features is not going to be satisfied with what the Epic Air can offer.
I'd recommend these to anyone looking for a rugged and long lasting set of sport earbuds to stow in their gym bags or take on longer excursions into the outdoors where the extended battery life of the case can be put to full use. Frequent travellers or audiophiles looking to eliminate ambient noise or listen to high quality music on the go might want to look elsewhere.

Who is this really for?
on September 27, 2020

I was rather surprised to see that Bose was releasing a gaming variant of these headphones. I've seen a lot of different features attached to gaming headsets over the years - some worth it and others not - but noise cancellation really wasn't something I felt was missing from the space. And after spending a few days with the headset... I'm not entirely sold that it's something that needs to be there either.
Don't get me wrong, the headphones themselves are fantastically good at what they do. There are two different level of noise cancellation and both are so good at what they do it feels a bit magical at times. Turning the thing on with noise cancellation set to high feels a bit like being suddenly ejected into space, just without the inevitable painful death that follows. It does have the downside of making you hyper-aware after the fact of all the various background hums and whines you're usually filtering out without even realizing it, but it's usually worth it. I was also fairly impressed by the clip on boom mic provided and its ability to also deliver clear and high quality audio . The headphones are also very comfortable to wear for extended periods due to a variety of low friction pivots and soft fabrics in use throughout. There's no fiddling with the headband or shuffling around the ear cups here. Everything just seems to settle right into place without any argument, and looks undeniably classy doing it. If you take each feature provided here individually there's pretty much nothing not to like. But when I put them all together - I find there are a few problems that keep me from giving it a full five stars.
I think that the basic problem comes down to the fact that while noise cancellation gives with one hand, it takes away with another. It's pretty amazing how you can sit down right next to a gaming PC with about as much airflow as your typical leaf blower, flip a switch on the side of your headset, and have all the fan noise and coil whine you didn't even realize was there vanish. But in its place is something new, a persistent low pressure that should be familiar to anyone who's used high end noise cancellation for an extended period before pushing against your eardrums. Not only can this effect be a bit distracting, but it also hits the audio you get from the game at the same time. With the noise cancellation on I'd have to say it's probably got some of the least impressive sound I've heard from a gaming headset before. It gets substantially better when the noise cancellation is either turned off or set to low, but at that point the overall audio quality feels a lot closer to what you'd get with a standard headset that just muffles outside audio rather than nullifying it and I'm kind of left missing my more conventional headset.
To reiterate, I do not by any means think it's a bad product, or even necessarily that bad of a headset. In addition to the perks already mentioned it's got great build quality and supports just about every gaming platform out there (though sadly you won't be able to use it wirelessly in gaming mode.) But it seems aimed at a few very specific use cases where its standout features, namely the noise cancellation and highly adjustable design, can be put to full use. And that does come at the expense of everyday usability. It's something to break out for that long transatlantic flight, or the train ride where you're trying to get in a few rounds of Among Us in over your mobile hotspot. It's what you bring to the massive LAN tournament, where you want to be sure you're blocking out the noise of everyone else's rigs as well as the general susurrus of the observers. It's what you buy when you really want a nice set of Bose noise cancelling headphones, and think it would be pretty great if you could also use them as a gaming headset for your PC and console on occasion. It's what you want if you're running a stream on the go, and don't have enough room to squeeze the condenser mic in with all your other gear. But I don't see this being a daily driver for anyone who's a more casual fan of the hobby, unless of course you just really want a nice set of Bose noise cancelling headphones and think it would be great to be able to use them for the occasional gaming night as well.

Classy Looks and Good Performance

Given the name it makes sense that the Stealth 600 doesn’t look like a typical gamer headset. Its looks are understated. There’s no RGB or aggressive styling demanding your attention. Just a lot of matte white surfaces and a few gunmetal accents. But don’t let that fool you. Turtle Beach has clearly put a lot of thought into trying to make this your go-to headset on the PS4 (and the upcoming PS5.)
I’ve found a lot to like about the gear in the time I’ve spent with it so far beyond the design. While it’s pretty much all plastic the fit and finish is good enough to make it feel like a more premium device. The hinges around the ear cups are tight, the size adjustment is just stiff enough to hold its place without requiring you to force it, and it offers excellent noise isolation even when wearing it with glasses. They even thought to use a USB-C charging plug rather than the aging micro-USB most manufacturers seem to still be clinging to, so I don’t need to bother keeping a spare charger by the couch just for my headset anymore. I’d rate the sound quality as very good. An audiophile probably isn’t going to be impressed, but it’s as good as it needs to be for games and voice chat. Frequency response is good at both ends of the spectrum, and unlike a lot of cheaper headsets it won’t try to drown you in bass. You’ve got five built in options for tuning it as well – four equalizer settings and a “superhuman” setting which will try to enhance environmental audio cues like footsteps to give you a leg up. On the transmit side, I’d rate the mic as above average for gaming headsets, which is basically a polite way of saying it’s good enough. I wouldn’t want to run a stream with it as my only audio, but the people on the other side will have no difficulty understanding what you’re saying. And as a bonus, I can confirm that if you plug the dongle into your PC or phone it works there too, albeit support for features like software volume controls seems hit or miss. I certainly wouldn’t recommend buying it if you don’t have a PlayStation, but it’s still nice to know that if you (like me) game on multiple devices you don’t necessarily need to worry about having to buy a separate headset for each one. One additional note for anyone thinking about using it on Discord: when I tried it out during my weekly quarantine gaming night the Windows client was dropping audio constantly until I set a manual activation threshold and turned off echo cancellation.
There are a few things that keep me from giving it a full five stars, however. First up is the control layout. There are two volume wheels located near the top of the left ear cup. One controls the headset volume, the other acts as a monitor for your own mic. They have the same texturing on the wheels, and are close enough together that even if you don’t mix up which one is which with your thumb it’s easy to accidentally nudge the wrong one while making adjustments. I found myself having to pay a lot more attention to what I was doing when adjusting my volume than I do with other headsets, which isn’t an ideal outcome for a product geared towards multiplayer gaming. Along similar lines to this is the fact that switching between the different audio modes only offers a series of beep codes as feedback rather than the verbal descriptions you get from a lot of wireless headsets these days, requiring you to memorize a chart to know what you’ve just done. Finally, though I’m guessing most have already guessed this after I mentioned the noise isolation, it has to be said that the ear cups are an absolute heat trap. It only took a few minutes after putting it on before my ears became noticeably warm. If you run hot or are just particularly temperature sensitive, I’m not sure how comfortable you’d be wearing this thing for a prolonged gaming session.

The perfect exercise companion!

The Tempo frames aren't quite a product that solve a problem you never realized you had. Rather they're ones that solve a problem you'd long since abandoned any hope of being solved at all.
In my case, I've been filling the time that socialization used to take up in my pre-pandemic life with a lot of cycling, usually while listening to audio books from my phone. Usually when I'm out and about or exercising I'll use a very nice pair of wireless earbuds with support for pass through audio to avoid leaving me completely oblivious to the world around me. Unfortunately it didn't take long to realize this was never going to work on a bike, because where I live speed bumps are a thing and nothing can ruin a ride faster than seeing a very expensive earbud bounce its way along the pavement into traffic or a nearby storm drain. As such I've been stuck with much more basic wired earbuds, usually with one side left dangling to make sure I can at least hear well out of one ear.
Now that I've got the Tempo though, I feel safe to say this is never going to be an issue again.
While at first glance the Tempo looks like a fairly standard (if a bit chunky) pair of sport sunglasses, closer examination reveals that they are anything but. Each of the arms of the glasses contains a small speaker which can beam audio straight into your ears without needing to cover them. You don't need to worry about pass through. You don't need to worry about whatever you're listening to drowning out a horn or a shout. And you don't need to mess with any wires. They are, as far as I'm concerned, as close to the perfect solution to this problem as anyone's come so far.
Using the things is very straightforward and painless. Pairing them with the Bose app took about two minutes from start to finish, including a brief walk through of the various remote control gestures supported by the glasses. Audio is astonishingly good for a speaker this small, particularly on the low end, and unless you're sitting very close to someone in a quiet room with the volume cranked up it's unlikely anyone but you will be able to tell. I ran a quick test on my roommate when I first got them to see if she could tell that I had music playing while she was sitting next to me on the couch. With the volume turned up she was able to tell that something was happening, but not much more than that. Battery life is also great. It charges via USB-C (VERY much appreciated) in about an hour, and will easily last all day with occasional use. I'll admit I've yet to find time to fully stress test them to confirm if the 8 hour runtime quoted on the box is accurate, but if the spoken notifications about battery levels are reliable I suspect it might actually be able to go a little longer.
Once I got off the couch and onto my bike, the Tempo continued to impress. It was a little bit loose at first, however once I switched to the larger nose pads (included in the box) the things were rock solid on my face, and never so much as twitched when I hit the first big bump getting out of the parking lot and onto the road. Even with ample wind noise the audio from my phone remained clear, and the google assistant was quick to respond to any voice commands I had during the trip. At first I was a little concerned that it might prove uncomfortable for prolonged trips, as it does squeeze down on the side of your head a bit, but after the first few minutes the arms either loosened up or I stopped noticing. They also did an excellent job of standing up to several hours worth of accumulated dust, mud, and sweat while still staying thoroughly comfortable. By the end of the trip, I knew there was no going back to the dangling ear-buds.

how tall are they

Per the spec sheet they're 422mm tall - the headphone holder adds about two millimeters to whichever one you stick it to. In more practical terms, they're just about exactly as tall as a 32" LCD (not including the stand.)

You do need to manually toggle the valve. That said, it's very well designed to keep your hands free of any steam that might escape in the process.

Can you please give me an idea of what is the most recent AAA game can this laptop play?. I'd love to get an idea of what I am going to expect when purchasing this laptop! like, can it play Deathloop? or perhaps Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart for example?.

It can play Cyberpunk 2077 on Psycho (at least while plugged in.)

Internal disc drive or is an external needed

No internal optical drive - pretty much everyone's started phasing them out at this point.

Will the 1TB SSD be a Gen3 or a Gen4?

It uses PCIe 4.0. The drive that's included isn't the fastest I've seen, but it'll handily beat any of the last generation NVMe drives.

I recently purchased this laptop. It came with windows 10 preinstalled. The product description tells that it has windows 11. Does that mean that I have to wait for the windows 11 update. Or is there an issue with my laptop

That'll depend on what date your laptop was manufactured. As of mid-October the factories aren't set up to load Windows 11 on new units yet, so they're shipping ones with Windows 10 with the keys needed to get the free update ASAP. Windows 11 is having something of a staggered rollout, with certain models getting the upgrade ahead of others. That said the one I received on 10/12 got the option to update within a day, so you might just need to check Windows Update to confirm that you actually want it.

The Shark AI Ultra Robot Vacuum combines powerful vacuuming with Matrix Clean Navigation, leaving no spots missed for an ultra whole-home clean. Features include: powerful Shark suction power, Matrix Clean Navigation for a deeper cleaning, HEPA 60-day capacity base for collecting and trapping dust and allergens, and CleanEdge Technology for better edge cleaning.

WOW Awesome Can you please help me with what is the actual run time. Confuse with below- Up to 120 minutes of runtime for whole-home cleaning. And with Recharge and Resume, the robot will return to the dock, recharge, and can pick up where it left off

120 minutes is how much you might be able to get under optimal conditions assuming a battery that's close to brand new, a wide open room with nothing for the robot to get stuck on, and a floor that's already clean enough that it doesn't need to ramp up the suction for targeted cleaning. In other words, it's probably more than you'll get in day to day use. I wouldn't be that concerned about it though. The biggest advantage to having a robot with active navigation like this is that it knows where it was when it ran out of battery. So when it gets low it stops, returns to its dock, then picks up where it left off once it's gotten enough charge to finish the job. So long as it doesn't end up cut off from its charging base by a closed door or the like, it can stick with a cleaning job more or less indefinitely.

Elgato's website is pretty terrible. No real info and only list one model with no model number listed anywhere. What's different about this one versus the KAA model?

In terms of functionality it's pretty much identical. They've adopted a slightly different design for the stand which makes the whole thing look a bit more streamlined, added the option to remove and replace the faceplate for increased customization, and modernized the USB interface. I'd say it's more like a refresh of the original aimed at extending the product's lifespan than a wholly new device.

Explore realistic 3D audio with sound precisely projected from above, in front, behind and to the side of you with the latest acoustic technologies.

What does this new 850A do that the 2020 year 950T cannot? Would this 850A be the big brother to the 950T or does the 950T provide a better sound experience since it it is a 9.1.4 system. I too am tossed which one to purchase.

The 950 is the next model up from the 850 - even with the 850A being newer it can't compete with a system that's got 6 additional channels to play with. You'll be better up with last year's 950 model.
