I purchased this TV for my bedroom, and I couldn't be happier! It was easy to set up, and the apps are great! This is my first smart TV , and I highly recommend this product.
Listen to soothing nature sounds when you wake up to this Sony ICFC1PJ clock radio that features dual alarms for multiple wake times. The swivel projector allows you to display the time on a wall or ceiling for easy viewing during the night.

Perfect in every way - almost. This Sony Alarm Clock Radio has many great features that are clearly displayed on the box. Not sure why so many reviewers mention projecting the time to display on a wall or ceiling. I won't be using this function. I did try it out & it is easy to set up. I previously had a Sony clock radio, so I am familiar with the setup sequences. Each button has more than one function, so set up is not that obvious at first. The instructions that come with it are clear enough. Other reviews do not mention the RADIO; most focus on it as an alarm clock. I ended up calling Sony to ask about the radio quality. The radio works GREAT for talk radio. I like to wake up to BBC World Service broadcast by NPR at 5 a.m. The sound comes on very quietly at first, gradually building up to the volume level that you preset. A nice feature so you do not get a rude awakening. One of the brightness settings is OFF, so you can eliminate the 'light pollution' at night. The display comes on automatically with the alarm. The display is clear with the alarm time(s) shown as well. The time is automatically set for EST & self corrects for DST. Can't get better than that.It comes with a backup battery in case you lose power. Time can be displayed in 12 or 24 hour format. The size is compact with a small footprint. This is good & bad. The drawback is that there are many buttons & they are quite small. Certain ones have a raised dot in the center, so you can navigate by touch. Labels in words/symbols are on the buttons themselves - black on black or above them - white & very small. These are hard to see, so you just have to get to know your way around them. If you want to wake up to nature sounds, you can do that too. I have had this clock radio for a few weeks & waited to write this review until I tried out the USB recharging function. This is very handy to have. It charges up my MP3 player very quickly; far faster than my laptop. Unlike my laptop, I can plug it in anytime to recharge it. The Sony was a bit more expensive than other brands with similar features. I was replacing a Sony World Band clock radio; I trust the brand so went with the Sony. I made the right choice & loving it.

Amazing film of perseverance made even better by the fact it is a true story. My only regret is that the film could have spent more time on how Louis coped and eventually forgave his captors after the war. I think that is just as amazing as his endurance through his time in captivity.

I went to see this movie in theaters a few weeks ago. Still haven't gotten over the awesomeness. There was so much emotion packed into one movie. And it had just enough humor to balance it out. If you haven't seen this movie, I suggest you give it a chance. It's great!

This is not an entirely new idea in film or literature but, for my dollar, this is the best.
Here's the scoop. Nick Dunne (Ben Affleck) is from Missouri but works as a writer in New York. He meets and marries Amy (Rosamund Pike), another writer, and the two have a seemingly great marriage. Hard times and Nick's mom's illness send them back to Missouri where the marriage becomes strained. Next thing you know, Amy has disappeared and Nick is charged with her murder. But all is not as it seems.
Whatever great things you've heard about this flick are entirely true. It's about as good a movie as I've ever seen. And at a two and a half hour running time it will keep you riveted start to finish, which is saying a lot. Gillian Flynn, who adapted the script from her novel did a sweet job. All the scenes are written well as are the characters. Too often the secondary characters in a film are given short shrift. Not the case here. Even the smallest roles are paid great attention. Scoot McNairy has only one scene, but his acting, and the way the scene is written, are a testament to the overall quality of the writing. The same goes for Nick's sister's character. It would be difficult for me to imagine a better written character. And the story itself is tremendously clever to boot. The zingers just keep on coming to throw the viewer off what could have been a well worn path. This is particularly true of the ending. The viewer wants a certain ending and they won't get it here. This one takes a higher, more interesting, road.
A special hat's off to Rosamund Pike. Watching her transform her character is something to behold. Her eyes speak volumes and seeing her at the end will send shivers up your spine.
I like David Fincher. He's had more hits than misses during his career and this, for my dollar, is his best. If mystery thrillers are your poison, this will do you in.

Awesome movie from the one and only Denzel! We enjoyed seeing the movie in IMAX on opening weekend. It was refreshing to see Denzel play the good guy and win in the end. He is the most brilliant and versatile actor of my lifetime! Fantastic movie!

I'm not necessarily sold on Tom Cruise as a person, but the man can act and picks great movies to star in. "Edge of Tomorrow" is just another notch in his belt of well above average action movies that he should be proud of. In fact, I don't think I've enjoyed a movie of his so much since "Minority Report" which is one of my favorite movies. I think at this point most everyone is familiar with the sort of "groundhog day" plot--but it's done with a few subtle twists here that make it continually surprising. The fantasy world and visual effects are also very well done. I can't review this movie though without talking about the mesmerizing Emily Blunt. She is one of the best action heroines to come along in a the past decade on par with Angelina Jolie's work in "Lara Croft". In summation, cool action, great effects, decent characters and an interesting plot--more of this please!

I loved this film. Yes the plot is so thin as to almost be transparent. Yes it is filled with car crashes, car chases, and the most heavily armed but incompetent adversaries on film. But the CAST -- and the ACTION -- make this into an exciting romp by some very talented actors. It is hard to overshadow Bruce Willis in any film but this cast manages that. John Malkovich steals the show as "Mad" Marvin and does as much acting with his face as with the dialog. Helen Mirren is clearly having the time of her life playing Victoria and she is great. Anthony Hopkins as the mad scientist plays it to the hilt. Byung-hun Lee as the assassin hired to kill Willis is marvelous in his incredible fight scenes plus adding some real subdued humor about his plane. Also he introduces the new Gatling gun just released by the Army and that scene alone is worth the price of admission. Oh yes -- Bruce Willis was in this film -- and yes he does a good job but it is hard to surpass this team of actors -- he keeps up because he is an excellent actor but he has stiff competition in this sequel to Red. This is a non-stop action film with a simple plot but with a team of actors at their best and having a great time in the process. You gotta see this film.

"X-Men: Days of Future Past" (2014) starts in an apocalyptic near-future where mutants are being wiped out by Sentinels, government-made robots created for that very purpose. The X-Men and Magneto decide to send Wolverine's consciousness back to his body in 1973 to prevent the Sentinels from attaining their mutant-killing powers.
This is easily one of the best X-Men films because of the interesting plot and the focus on the most interesting characters. Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) has been the top X-Men since day one so you can't go wrong with making him the focal point. James McAvoy and Patrick Stewart are excellent as Professor X, as are Michael Fassbender as young Magneto, Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique and Evan Peters as Quicksilver, the latter in a small but highly entertaining role. Nicholas Hoult as Beast gets an honorable mention and Bingbing Fan is notable as Blink, particularly her stunning face.
The plot is convoluted and yet easy to follow if you're familiar with the franchise's story arc. The film is compelling, but doesn't forget to be entertaining; for instance, the creative and amusing way Quicksilver takes down a bunch of security guards at the Pentegon, one of the movie's top scenes.
