I bought 3 of these to replace older APC UPS units, which I use with home theater system, TVs, and PCs. Because the old ones performed well for several years, I had no qualms about buying APC again. What sold me on replacing all 3 at one time was they are a upgraded model and, even better, were on sale for a price similar to having simply bought replacement batteries. If these serve as well as the old ones, I'll look to APC again.

This is not your typical Chilli Pipers set. There are a couple of numbers that'll have you saying, "Huh, where'd that come from?" The rest of it is pure Chilli Pipers and worth the purchase. Because of the outliers, I couldn't bring myself to score a 5.0 for the CD, though I would have scored it 4.5, if I could have. All that said, buy it anyway. The good stuff is worth the price.

Free is not always a bargain

The Kaspersky software came as a free download with the purchase of a Toshiba Satellite 2 in 1. For it to load, it uninstalled Webroot, which I have used and liked for several years. After using it a few weeks, I came to really dislike the Kaspersky. First, it does not update automatically, even thought it is set to do so. To compound this issue, it is then slow to update when you request it to do so. Scans also take much longer than I had been used to.Then it stopped remembering login info for secure sites which I trusted. I spoke with a Geek Squad rep about it and learned that generally people love or hate Kaspersky, not much middle ground. My experience fits into that very well. It's not a friendly partner to work with. I am happy now that I have uninstalled Kaspersky and returned to Webroot, which is so easy to work with.

I bought this small laptop to replace a first generation MS Surface Pro, which is a very nice device but turned out to be too small ergonomically for my needs. The Satellite Click 2 in 1 was offered as a Deal of the Day at a "can't say no" price, and it turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. Set up was especially easy, as it practically cloned itself to match my larger Satellite, which I largely use as a CPU, with a large monitor etc. at my desk. As a Best Buy exclusive it also came with enough power, as well as bells and whistles to make it competitive with more expensive devices. It's size and weight make it very portable. I am very well pleased with it so far!
