I researched the top blenders and it came down to Blendtec or VitaMix.
Best Buy had a great sale price on the Blendtec which tipped me in their favor. I'm totally happy with my purchase and am blending up a storm. Great for smoothies, ice cream. Got the Twister jar attachment and am making my own nut butters.
