Good screen protection - but it's a film

Nothing can replace the original glass - even glass shields aren't as good as the original. This is a film and I'm always concerned my kids will use their fingernails or a key will scratch the film. It's supposed to be "self healing" and it does that but I'm not sure I'd take the risk on it. This is my 3rd zagg film - most econonmical is reason I get it for the protection. It does a good job for protection. I haven't had any broken screens using them and a good case (ie. speck case - or samsun oem case). The Best Buy guy put it on and there were serious bubbles I was able to get most out and they did mostly disappear after about 3 days like he said they would.

Good size. Good camera. Is expandable has SD card slot. Is quicker than previous models. Has a Glass back though (what were they thinking?). Doesn't open up so you can't unplug batter (trying to be like iPhone I guess - but prob for the water resistance). SD card inserts on side of phone like the old days (ie. don't try to pry off the back!).

I've been wanting an inexpensive keyboard that wasn't full-88 keys (as that's too big), but also was big enough keys to play most everything. This fit that requirement and was on sale. It does not have a sustain pedal and no stand and no seat - but I didn't need all that. It sounds good and has lots of features and sound effects. And it's nice to have a name brand. It was on sale just under a hundred. I would have liked weighted keys and light up playing/teaching keys, but those were a hundred or more.

Good inexpensive headphones with microphone

Have used them with Samsung Galaxy S4 and I am able to hear others and they can hear me thru phone conversations. It does pick up ambient sound where you are due to microphone placement, but that is normal with other headphones. Music playing thru them is decent and best if you have snug fit in your ear (as with all in ear headphones).

It's a 5 port name brand gigabit switch for fair price. Other switches are more expensive which doesn't seem worth it. Connected speed shows gigabit and connection tested good so far (about 2 weeks). The color is white but I prefer black or silver, but it's out of sight behind some things on the desk so not a big deal. It's replacing a 100Mb D-Link switch that went bad after a year or two (not a long time!) in service (and which I got for around the same price as this netgear one). So I will see how the more popular name brand does against it.

Good & Inexpensive Component Switch

I bought this StarTech Component switch to replace a Radio Shack Component Switch that started flashing and rolling the screen whenever the screen was all or mostly white. Radio Shack no longer carries them or they were way too expensive and found this model on here. I have an older Rear Projection HD TV with a DVI and Component Connection. I used this switch for Charter Cable, WII, Blu-Ray, PS2 (I also have used it for XBOX 360 - but later moved XBOX direct to the DVI and A/V). The picture is great - even with my glasses on. If a good picture is being broadcast or sent from the machine it looks good on the screen - and no more flashing when the screen is white (hooray!). The switch also learns buttons on your other remote to switch the ports remotely from your chair just like my old one. This is very handy not to have to get up to press the button to switch (although it does come with a button to do so if you happen to be standing at it). It is very light, so if you do use the button, press down on the top to keep it from sliding when you press the button. This was a good/fair price if you need Component switch.

It should yes - as long as you can connect it to a USB slot on your device or copy thru another device like a computer

Speeds vs PNY turbo
Lost my old pny turbo 3.0 and see this on sale. It has plus in the name and a higher normal price but it advertises slower speeds than the pny turbo. Is it slower or no?
It has: USB 3.0. "Up to" 115 MB/s. States 10x faster than USB 2.0 (this assumes you have it connected to USB 3.0 device - otherwise will run at 2.0 speed). States Turbo Attache 4. Has 4K Ultra HD Video labeled on the package. Is backwards compatible with USB 2.0. It has a nice pull back/reveal USB plug rather than a cap which will get lost.

Will it leave a residue if removed?
No - no residue. It just peals off like the newer stickers kids have today. If there is anything it's from when it got put on or around the edges (ie. dirt from regular use) - just use moist (not wet) towelette (wipey) to clean it off and dry it.

Ethernet in port?
Just to be sure, I can plug an ethernet cord from a wall port to this device, then ethernet cords from this device to my computers, video game systems, etc., correct? I'm going to college where there will only be two ethernet ports in my dorm and I have a lot of devices and I refuse to use wireless internet with them

It will do close to 1 Gb per second. But it's all depends on your entire network. Your computer, it's NIC, your computers Hard Drive, your router, your WiFi (WiFi has ups and downs), your cabling. Any of these can slow down that connection.

does this Router supply 2 or more IP addresses to a PC?
It's a switch not a router. It just passes network traffic thru it. It doesn't supply any IP addresses. But it will allow all traffic thru, so if your PC has 2 IP addresses associated with it, then both of those addresses will be reachable and able to send out thru this switch.

Can I connect my wireless router to one port and other devices to the remaining ports?
Will the wireless router continue to perform correctly? Will there be any interference with the other devices
Yes - that's what the switch is for. You plug all your network devices into the switch and the switch allows traffic to flow between the different devices. In order to reach the Internet, you have to have one of the connections go thru your cable router at some point, whether it's thru that switch, thru the wireless router, or another switch, or via a shared computer's network cards (which in essence is acting as a switch). I have cable internet (DSL is same connections after the router) and cable comes into my cable modem and out of it into my wireless router and out of my wireless router I have hard wired connection to my two switches and two hard wired computers. The switches hook up to several other computers/devices (Playstation/Wii/xbox/blurays/etc) and wireless gets all the wireless devices. I've noticed no interference hooking up with the switches. The only issue you might experience would be on your ISP side - ie. if you don't have enough throughput coming into/out of your house. ie. DSL is slower than cable. If you have 20Mbps or higher you shouldn't experience any lags (if you're not overburden with internet devices that is). But under 20Mbps (ie. most DSL) then you might if you have a lot of devices. But the switch won't be the issue unless it's defective.

AB SWITCH
I NEED TO CONNECT 2 DEVICES ( DVD & DVR) USING A RCA MINI COMPONENT VIDEO/AUDIO CABLE TO MY TV WITH AN AB SWITCH
You'll need a component switch for best results (ie. you could get away with a composite switch (just the red/white/yellow) but you'll lose a lot of picture quality. Your TV should have component IN - so you'd plug the component OUT from the component switch into the TV component IN. And of course your DVD & DVR OUTs to the component switch INs.
If you have an older TV, then you'll need to use the older composite connections.
They sell component and composite switches on Best Buy and Amazon. I just recently bought a component switch on Best Buy for around $30 - working good.
There are also many cable converter options out there if you have some special requirement for your TV.
