Enjoyed flying off the planet and initial play

There was a lot of hype about this game so it had a lot to be in order to impress people. The graphics are ok and got better with some updates they did. They have also added extra items in game play that helped smooth graphics and added items to play like the car.
I love the feeling of taking off from a planet, flying thru asteroid fields and the occasional space ship fights. It's even fun to pick fights within a planet. It took a while for me to get used to fighting and ran away which was scary and fun when you made it away. The only reason I didn't mark it a 5 is that it does get redundant after a while - planets are very similar (they have different looks and animals - but close enough that they are all the same in a way - so the collection of materials to keep going and grow your stations, transporting back to your home planet and/or building your star cruiser does get repetitive - but not until after many hours which if you paid a lower price for this game -ie. under 20 then that's worth it. I really look forward to flying off a planet and going to another soon and would really like to get to the center of the universe some day. All the NASA and Hubble pics make this game even more fun to imagine visiting worlds far away.

Great game! Story is ok. Realistic graphics. Driving part is very real and exciting. It's an open world. Take your time and explore and try things out - run around, drive around, then do some story, then do side missions - makes it last a lot longer and very fulfilling! Great shooter. Lots of weapons. Great music from the 60's 70's - you can change channels which driving to hear other songs. Cool cars. I played it for free (borrowed) but liked it so much I had to buy it when it was a reasonable price.

They work and I used price match and best buy bucks to get them to a reasonable cost between eighteen to twenty (which is what I could get them for at another retailer). Having to jump thru those hoops made me rate at lower level. I usually have maybe 1 or 2 out of 100 of these DVDs fail with this brand. So far none have failed in this batch.

It is long but coiled - you can stretch though

I just needed an extension cord and this one worked. The issue was it was coiled and would snap back or not convenient if using the whole length. What I did was to pull it to it's length and secured it from one side of the room to the other for a few hours - essentially pseudo stretching it - and it maintained the longer shape after that. which is what I wanted. Gave it a 5 because all coiled and had to do this "stretching"

Software doesn't work and bad customer service

Software doesn't work. I needed the physical hardware (connects VCR to computer USB) to port from VHS player to computer and the software is stated "Easy" on the box. The software install and use was easy but it would only record onto the PC for a short time, then quit recording. So essentially I had to watch the entire video and when it stopped, stop the VCR and start recording again and ended up with many recordings instead of one. Then when I went to burn it - again was easy to do but it wouldn't play on a regular DVD player - it was all horizontal lines. It would play on the computer but only stretched out. I contacted Roxio which is supported by Corel. They said the first issue is by design and no way to force it to just record - if it senses a line drop (which there wasn't, but maybe the recording on the VHS Tape switched to another recording) it just drops. And they had no idea on the video playback.
So to fix the issues, I used Nero Recode (comes with Nero burnging software) and the Roxio hardware device.
I got it on sale for $60 at Best Buy - which all I could use was the hardware which I think is probably worth $15.
Highly disappointed in this purchase!

Works/easy replacement install/fair price

I marked it as a 3 as I'm replacing a previous Seagate HD that just failed after only being in service between 2-3 years. Seagate has changed their warranty policy to 2 years (I guess they know how long their product will last). I used to get 5-7 years out of a HD - now only 2-3 years? At least the price is reasonable and I use them in a RAID 1 configuration so I can absorb 1 HD loss at a time. Online storage is still more expensive in the large TBs range so buying a new HD for local storage is still cheaper is why I haven't switched to cloud.

This wire is about a quarter of the cost of the brand name. Fit perfect, charged IPAD Air 2 no problem. I bought 2 using them as spares in different places. I already had extra USB plugs as this is only the lightning wire to USB and no usb plug for the outlet.

no plug was needed. Quick easy install. Uses USD 3.0 and backwards compatible. Replacing a failed external LaCie branded drive. Inside the LaCie was a Seagate drive! So this way you at least know you're getting WD. Had probs with WD in past decade with them - tried Seagate (which is apparently Seagate), both failed same rate so trying WD again. They seem to fail 2-4 years - basically just after warranty expires. Giving it 5 starts mostly on price, size, no power cord needed, usb 3.0/fast

Speeds vs PNY turbo
Lost my old pny turbo 3.0 and see this on sale. It has plus in the name and a higher normal price but it advertises slower speeds than the pny turbo. Is it slower or no?
It has: USB 3.0. "Up to" 115 MB/s. States 10x faster than USB 2.0 (this assumes you have it connected to USB 3.0 device - otherwise will run at 2.0 speed). States Turbo Attache 4. Has 4K Ultra HD Video labeled on the package. Is backwards compatible with USB 2.0. It has a nice pull back/reveal USB plug rather than a cap which will get lost.

Ethernet in port?
Just to be sure, I can plug an ethernet cord from a wall port to this device, then ethernet cords from this device to my computers, video game systems, etc., correct? I'm going to college where there will only be two ethernet ports in my dorm and I have a lot of devices and I refuse to use wireless internet with them

It will do close to 1 Gb per second. But it's all depends on your entire network. Your computer, it's NIC, your computers Hard Drive, your router, your WiFi (WiFi has ups and downs), your cabling. Any of these can slow down that connection.

does this Router supply 2 or more IP addresses to a PC?
It's a switch not a router. It just passes network traffic thru it. It doesn't supply any IP addresses. But it will allow all traffic thru, so if your PC has 2 IP addresses associated with it, then both of those addresses will be reachable and able to send out thru this switch.

Can I connect my wireless router to one port and other devices to the remaining ports?
Will the wireless router continue to perform correctly? Will there be any interference with the other devices
Yes - that's what the switch is for. You plug all your network devices into the switch and the switch allows traffic to flow between the different devices. In order to reach the Internet, you have to have one of the connections go thru your cable router at some point, whether it's thru that switch, thru the wireless router, or another switch, or via a shared computer's network cards (which in essence is acting as a switch). I have cable internet (DSL is same connections after the router) and cable comes into my cable modem and out of it into my wireless router and out of my wireless router I have hard wired connection to my two switches and two hard wired computers. The switches hook up to several other computers/devices (Playstation/Wii/xbox/blurays/etc) and wireless gets all the wireless devices. I've noticed no interference hooking up with the switches. The only issue you might experience would be on your ISP side - ie. if you don't have enough throughput coming into/out of your house. ie. DSL is slower than cable. If you have 20Mbps or higher you shouldn't experience any lags (if you're not overburden with internet devices that is). But under 20Mbps (ie. most DSL) then you might if you have a lot of devices. But the switch won't be the issue unless it's defective.

AB SWITCH
I NEED TO CONNECT 2 DEVICES ( DVD & DVR) USING A RCA MINI COMPONENT VIDEO/AUDIO CABLE TO MY TV WITH AN AB SWITCH
You'll need a component switch for best results (ie. you could get away with a composite switch (just the red/white/yellow) but you'll lose a lot of picture quality. Your TV should have component IN - so you'd plug the component OUT from the component switch into the TV component IN. And of course your DVD & DVR OUTs to the component switch INs.
If you have an older TV, then you'll need to use the older composite connections.
They sell component and composite switches on Best Buy and Amazon. I just recently bought a component switch on Best Buy for around $30 - working good.
There are also many cable converter options out there if you have some special requirement for your TV.
