Bad Boys I and II are featured in this special digitally enhanced collection. Former video director Michael Bay had his first big hit with the 1995 action comedy, which also returned producers Jerry Bruckheimer and Don Simpson to the big-budget, high-violence movies that they successfully churned out in the '80s. Mike Lowrey (Will Smith) and Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence) are two Miami cops who watch as 100 million dollars in heroin, from the biggest drug bust of their careers, is stolen out of the basement of police headquarters. This puts them hot on the trail of French drug lord Fouchet (Tchéky Karyo), who leaves a trail of bodies in his wake and only one witness, Julie Mott (Téa Leoni), who quickly teams up with our heroes. In the 2003 sequel, Burnett and Lowrey have been assigned to head up a task force to investigate the illegal trafficking of ecstasy into the city. They discover that an underground gang war has been instigated by drug kingpin Johnny Tapia (Jordi Molla). In order to cut off the flow of the designer drug, they have to take down Tapia.

Classic Cop Com duo

Good synergy between the Smith's playboy cop and Lawrence's family man characters in this classic Bay set. This came out when cop comedy duos like Tucker/Chan and other Martin Lawrence outings were popular.
The movies have aged well, and the details in these are jarring for how old they are. If you want to see pores, you'll see pores with this bundle.

Awesome movies for the sci-fi collector. District 9 is ground breaking, Elysium looks amazing, Chappie also looks great, but it's a big mess story wise. Love seeing Blomkamp's directorial style and can't wait to see more from him.
Also, Chappie and Elysium have very crisp details thanks to being BD50 4K transfers, but to truly appreciate them you need a 4K TV with a Blu-ray setup (or the new 4K players) that up-converts to 4K levels. It won't be in true HDR because (2K) Blu-rays don't facilitate that tech. That's kind of confusing but that's where we're at until more 4K players and movies come out.

Snatch is a trope definer. Layer Cake, while not as notorious as Snatch (or Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels) is just as convoluted, violent, and stylized. Snatch is looking its age on Blu-ray, truthfully the collector's DVD that released several years back is probably the best we're going to get, but Layer Cake looks like it was made yesterday. I was pleased to see all sorts of familiar faces along with Daniel Craig in Layer Cake, like Tom Hardy, Jason Flemyng, and Burn Gorman to name a few. A MANDATORY purchase for anyone who remotely loves heist movies filled with awesome.

You don't need to read a review to know that 5th Element is great, quirky, and a classic. The 4K transfer on Blu-ray is just icing on a overly filling cake. Beautiful colors, rich sound, a full smattering of over the top 90's characters, nearly an hour of extras you never knew you needed to watch, you can't go wrong. Great flick.

It suffers from lower definition sources here and there, but for such an amazing series you cannot go wrong! The 3rd disc contains four other specials not related to the original Blue Planet, but they're very informative on the current state of fisheries, the Amazon River, and fun for wildlife guide enthusiasts.

Great HBO show from the 90s. If you didn't catch it then, now's a great time to relive a gritty American animation before Japanese anime took over the masses.

Fun gameplay all around, gorgeous graphics, A-MAZING moves that you'll wish were in the main series game (they pulled out all the stops to make this as true to source as possible), intricate battle system similar to Soul Caliber and other titles. Works well with Wii U GamePad and Wii U Wireless Controller Pro. I have not had the chance to try LAN mode, or to use the proprietary controllers from HORI, but from what I hear, they only limit a little more latency than the wireless controllers. So unless you're a fighting game aficionado, have fun playing Braixen beating down Garchomp with magical fairy girl might!
A FIVE * * * * * game for sure!

If you want to buy games off the e-Shop, chances are you know what this is. Pretty self explanatory.
I will say this; these are a very useful way of avoiding credit theft on your device. If you have an account with Nintendo, and someway, some how, somebody stole your 3DS with a registered credit card on file, there is the possibility of a paper trail. Cards are one way to avoid this possibility.
Get these when they have a 10-20% discount to bump your account, then wait for digital sales!

Great, but incomplete. Somewhere between Platinum and HGSS, Prima and Nintendo decided to start making the walkthroughs and the Pokédex strategy guides separately. Well, that's when I started to buy them as cheap as humanely possible because they're trying to pull $40 out of thin air as opposed the just the normal $20. That's $40 on top of the cartridges, which both editions together will run around $80. So Big N wants $120 a year for each annual installment of Pokémon! No thanks.
All that being said, this guide gives you the essentials for completion; location of trainers' Pokémon so you can get preliminary entries for Nat Dex, locations of breeding and trading items, maps, Gym and E4 battles and encounter changes, and of course those coveted Mega Stones. It also tells you about Mirage Spots. I'd recommend this guide, but more so I'd recommend the accompanying Pokédex they released 3 months ago because THAT baby is golden!

A psychodelic exploration of our YOLO nation...

Spring Breakers is one of those sleeper films that will undoubtedly fly under the radar for a few years until it's picked up as a cult favorite like Summer of Sam, City of God, or Blade Runner. The film has a poor reputation for discouraging it's target audience with promises of posh and flair due to it's star driven Disney Channel vet cast, including Gomez, Hudgens along with trailers that misled people into believing it was another teen coming of age movie. What we got was something surreal, vivid and undeniably dark about our millennial youth cultural in this time.
The plot is simple; four college co-eds are bored out of their minds and want to let off steam in Florida during that annual right of passage, spring break. They have little discretionary income, but plenty of angst and time to concoct a plan to rob patrons of a local dinner, and use their earnings to get to their destination. Along the way, they are treated with the waning euphoria of fun without consequences until they are arrested during a drug bust, only to be bailed out by a local drug and arms dealer, the ever amicable James Franco as rapper/thug Alien. A time of leisure is met with firm doses of reality and the rest is history.
Plot wise the movie is simple, in execution the film is complicated. It has been marred by critics believing the movie is about something it's not. Party scenes have a habit of inviting young women who flaunt it all and Spring Breakers is no different. Women's breasts abound in this title about every 8 minutes or so, as does drug use. The message has been lost on critics and skeptics because they're fixating on the superficial, not on what Harmony Korine (the director) intended. Yes, the movie is awash in naked women, psychedelic colors, house/techno/Skrillix remixes and senseless violence. But if you lend a discerning eye and look past the hedonism, the message is absolutely clear, and the movie pops as one of the best representative analogies to today's YOLO culture in media. People live past their youth and do so do WITH their choices.
Media wise, the film is glorious on both DVD and Blu-ray. It's a 5.1 Dolby sound encode, and there's little banding/artifacts in the presentation itself. At times, the grain is crystal, especially during up-close shots. Flesh tones are met with neon pinks, yellows, greens and other hot 80's colors that have come en vogue as of recently, popping off the screen much like the Skrillex tracks do through out the film. The special features contains at least an hour's worth of interviews, a deleted scene, and commentaries by the producers, and are a fairly solid addition as to why the film exists in the first place. They are a mix between standard and hi-def depending on which ones you're watching.
I wholeheartedly recommend Spring Breakers to anyone who can read in-between the lines of a film and pick up subtext, even if it feels like their is none. If you see the movie because you're a Disney Channel fan alone, well you may be disappointed. But if you enjoy films because of their message, especially when it's relatable, Spring Breakers is a film that will stand stronger than any Hanna Montana or Wizards of Waverly Place movie ever could.

The AT&T Prepaid card makes it easy to pay for your services. Add the money to your AT&T Prepaid (formerly GoPhone) account.

I’m lookin to drop my contract w/ a well known company but I need a hotspot on my phone. Does att prepaid provide a hotspot?

They do, it’s extra, and NOT unlimited. That’s where they get you, the same way they had limits on texts and pics back in the early 2000s. (AT&T knows they have to make their money somehow and right now it’s on data caps.)

However, older contracts with AT&T are grandfathered in to allow hotspots with their plans, even if they’re unlimited. The two catches are that they’re 1) obviously grandfather claused and therefor not available for new contracts, and 2) if you change your plan it’s expunged. Getting a new phone that requires a different plan can also void the clause.

The AT&T Prepaid card makes it easy to pay for your services. Add the money to your AT&T Prepaid (formerly GoPhone) account.

On AT&T prepaid card plans, do you have to renew monthly, or do you have at least a 3 month or 6 month card plan?

The balance on the account (attached to the phone’s SIM) has to be correct for whatever “plan” you first selected when you bought the phone, and renews every 30 days. There is no rollover data or balances on these accounts. Every 30 days, the plan renews and the balance deducts the monthly plan’s amount. The prepaid cards however, have 90 days from date of purchase to be added to your phone’s balance.

Even though it’s not a contract phone, you still have to start out with a plan, which reflects how much data the phone is allowed to use and therefor how much you have to have in the phone’s balance.
