I wish I had screenshots to show you what this game's like, but take it from me, this is the apex of open world gaming. BotW and Horizon unfortunately came out at the exact same time and there's going to be comparisons, but let me just clear the air; this game takes the crown of open world experiences.
I've been playing for a week and a half, and I've only scratched the surface of provinces. I've gotten to about four of them, and I believe there's twelve! That's just how freaking enormous this title is. From the get-go we're given fast travel to Shrines (mini dungeons that allow Link to upgrade his heart containers or endurance after completing 4) because you could spend half a day trying to get from one local to another. This is not an exaggeration. BotW doesn't hold your hand, it throws you into the elements with freezing weather, fast currents, rainy cliffs, lightning strikes, Moblin camps, wild fires, and mini bosses that double as Weapon enemies from the FF series.
All the familiar LoZ elements are here, former enemies, bows, shields, Master Sword, hearts, rods. But BotW mixes up things with making equipment destructible. It takes a page from Resident Evil and makes you plan accordingly instead of running in guns blazing. Failure to not read enemies and situations appropriately means swords get broken fast, shields cannot defend you, and eye beam blasts that one-shot you into a flaming fetal position of anger. So one part Resident Evil and a second part Dark Souls. Also, while familiar dungeons do exist in-game, they're not what you typically encounter. Shrines are the new dungeons which are smaller yet just as calculating. The spoils from shrines vary, but typically they offer better gear for your travels over some progress important weapon we're used to. TL;DR, you don't get the Magic Hammer in a shrine to progress further, you get a melee weapon which might be better than the one in your inventory. The crux of the game is survival.
My favorite part of the game (besides battling, riding, sight seeing, questing, and strategizing) is cooking! If you thought there was an excessive amount of items before, HA! Not only can you cook an entire bill of fare in this title, you can concoct a nearly limitless number of elixirs and dishes with endless constraints. If something really doesn't mesh, you get a piled of censored goo (no joke, pixilated censorship squares) that just gives you a heart container worth of recovery. But mother of God, you can double your heart containers with dishes, become Sonic with another dish, become nigh detectable with another, the list goes on. The best part, the dishes come from materials in the environment! Bugs, lizards, and monster parts typically get you elixirs (no health recovery), while normal fruits, meats, poultry, mushrooms and herbs net you full blown courses that heal you AND give you shorter term buffs. Only one attribute buff can be active at a time with cooking, so again you need to strategize a little on what you're trying to get with some trial and error. but if you're like me and loving farming stuff, this is probably bigger than Diablo or WarCraft for item collecting.
This title is less heavy on fetch quests, but I need to mention an IMPORTANT ONE; after you get to Kakariko Village in Necluda, you can start increasing your equipment carrying via a character named Hetsu. He's on the southern road outside of town. All those Korok Seeds you've been mysteriously collecting are to give to this bum in order to increase slots in your inventory. YOU NEED TO DO THIS ASAP! And I suggest going for more melee gear and maybe one bow before shields. Rare items start piling up, and you need to save some gear for the enemies they're effective against (IE. Guardian Swords and bows against Guardian type enemies).
Controls take getting used to. I'm not too keen on the Runes (abilities you acquire very early on), but it's important to remember you can control metal, throw infinite bombs, and take lots of pictures to get insight into how things work in BotW. Music is very soft. In the open world you're absorbing what's around you, so the music is subtle. And lastly... the sights. The freaking sights. Every time you save the game you get some panoramic landscape shot that would bring National Geographic to their knees in tears. Light from the west can obstruct rain beads to bring in a glow effect, there's typically a double rainbow if it's raining during the day, water blends light stratification on its surface, things illuminate at night that are inactive during the day, animals are on the oddest cliff faces, it never stops. The fire animation in BotW is some of the best I've seen in a title. One little hiccup though, and this is prevalent in the Wii U version and the docked Switch version, there's occasional frame rate drop. This tends to happen in villages, or forests where there's simply too many items. It'll drop from solid 30p to around 22p. It's noticeable, but not game breaking.
Currently, Breath of the Wild is selling Switch consoles, but for those of us who finally wanted that new Zelda title on our loving Wii U's, this is it. This is what we've been waiting for since Skyward Sword, heck since Ocarina of Time! You don't have to read my longwinded review to realize that this game is THE game changer. Perfect scores across the board on sites like IGN, and they're not wrong.

I've had eight sets of headphones since I got my first iPod Touch in '09, and two of those have now been Bluetooth. These XB50BS phones are all you'll need for gym, Starbucks, running, work, anything, and here's why.
The standard is the latest Bluetooth 4.1 w/ 12mm drivers and 4 - 24,000 Hz range. That's immense. The bass is the strongest I've heard on any Bluetooth device and are even lower than some corded sets. They're comparable to the newer Apple headphones for lows, so they definitely have that extra baseline. I can still hear trebles and highs, so the range isn't skewed to the low end. Granted, it's Bluetooth so when you have them paired and not listening to something, you're going to hear a little feedback from the receiver picking up the signal.
When these get paired, turned on, or in sync mode, a female voice will call over telling you what stage you're in. These is convenient as my last Sony set only made beeps at different lengths. I don't believe there's a language feature for this, so it defaults as English. The buttons are on the right side's posterior edge. There's 3 buttons; one is for power/pause/pairing/call receiving. The two other buttons are for track skipping and volume control. Holding down the button for 2 seconds allows you to skip a track, pushing it repeatedly (or once) changes the volume. Obviously these are <- and ->. This is pretty standard, but I did notice I cannot "scrub" a track, i.e. fast forward/rewind during playback. The sides are soft vinyl, and the charging port is also located on the right side.
The ear pieces are becoming even more complex these days. You have SS, S, M, L for silicone nipples, and this set also has two different silicone inserts for pseudo intra-aural stability. They take some used to placing in the ear, but they keep the buds from spinning. This set is the most noninvasive I've had seeing as it's a chord and two earpieces that are relatively innocuous. So you won't have to worry about "popping" the buds out of your ears with the chord inadvertently. Also, because they're silicone buds, ambient sounds go waaaaaay down. I can listen to them in crowded rooms as they phase out a ton of side conversations, even on lower volumes.
I haven't tested for battery life or water resilience, but it's raining right now and they're doing fine. You can't douse them in the pool. Battery life is rated for 8.5 hours, but I never listen to music for that length of time. This set does not come with a nice little polyester pouch to carry them in, and the micro USB charging cable is two feet long. You need your own comp. or USB wall plug to charge them. Sony has so many headphones in circulation that they're trimming the fat on accessories.
I earnestly recommend this set right now. Not only are they an improvement on later models, they're just about everything you'd look for in a convenient package. Great audio, easy interface, physical stability, innocuous, relatively rugged, and of course affordable. Pairing with my Gen V iPod Touch took six seconds. Highly, highly recommended.
Note: I've had these for a month now an I feel nearly the same about them. One note, the chord does catch on the collar of polos and jackets. Also, when switching between paired devices, you usually have to switch manually. It's not a full on re-sync, but it doesn't auto-connect like they would if you just turned them off and back on. Otherwise, excellent quality and worth every cent, but I managed to get mine for 20 bones after sale price, post holiday bump, and BB points!!!!!

That this is the best purchase you made all year? There is no Red Pill/Blue Pill resolve here, if you want to own a timeless piece of cinematic excellence that COMPLETELY changed the industry, this is The One.
The Matrix is unfortunately going to suffer a little bit because of its reliance on CGI, and as we know CGI creeps out of date year to year. Reloaded and Revelations are no exception. The Mr. Smith battles and mech suits are showing their age as the 2000's approach fifteen years ago. And that's telling you just how unabashedly detailed these films are. Fishbrune's visage has gone from iconic to landscape in these movies. There is clear distinction between types of black in the actors' wardrobes. That's right, different types of blacks! So these are incredibly well detailed. Sound is 5.1 and for my setup I can here everything that needs to be heard while still not missing a second of background audio fidelity.
The package is like a standard two winged Blu-ray package, with thicker nipples for two discs on each side. A thing to note about this entire series is the Blu-ray automatically starts playing when you put it in, and doesn't default to the main menu. But there is a main menu and a pop-up menu.
For the main movies this isn't a problem, but for the Animatrix this causes just a little grief. The Animatrix is nine shorts from various artists that focus on the ethos of the Matrix each with their own mini plots. So if you just want to watch one particular one and not all nine in a row, you have to select them from the pop-up menu at which point it'll go through the movie, then the credits, then they 20 (!) intellectual property rights warnings. This a little extreme and a slight oversight by Warner Bros.
The Animatrix is why I re-purchased this series again on BR, because previously it was DVD only. It was worth the re-purchase. If you are a fan of Aeon Flux, Cowboy Bebop, Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, Evangelion, the studio Madhouse, IG, the shorts in Memories or an absurd number of various other artists and studios that have been in the biz for multiple decades, you will want to get The Animatrix in this set.
On top of all of this is a gargantuan amount of behind the scenes for each film and each of the Animatrix shorts. I don't see the reason to get the collector's edition beyond superfluous packaging because these have almost too much for special features, director's commentary, spoofs, the list goes on. The extras menu is a little small when you access it, but the amount of things to view is something like half a day between all four discs! Also, the movies are Region Free!!! Considering the number of subtitle options, the passive region restrictions, and the audio options, the series is accessible to just about anyone.
I got this during the holidays with a (5) certificate and I wound up spending like eight clams on the whole series. Really, there's no reason why you shouldn't have THIS version release in your library. It's just too good and too easy to get everything you could possibly want from these movies. Not only HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, it's a requisite purchase.

It's going to be tough trying to nail a series again like Bebop. Even the movie is better than most other series' movies. I'm not going to spoil the plot or the characters any, but I will tell you that even in 2016 this animation pops off the screen on Blu-ray. I'm not a fan of how the movie is inherently in Japanese with Subtitles and not the American dub (voiceover for Bebop is one of those where the English cast is faaaar better than the Japanese cast, like Dragon Ball Z). But this is a minor toggle. Also, there's no bonus features on this outing.
Still, if you want to see Faye, Spike, Ein, Ed and ol' grumpy face again and you've watched the cartoons over and over and over on CN, pick up this movie. It's a solid change of pace and good movie.

Since we've gotten a new Pokémon entry. I'm writing this in October of 2016, and I cannot believe XY came out 3 years ago. Time has flown by, but it has been a solid three years. Y is easily the best main entry since DP, and matches Platinum for thoroughness. There's still time to get in on peoples' Friend Safaris so you can complete the bulk of your Poké Dex before S&M come out. The graphics trump anything you've seen on consoles (they're a lot like cel-shading), the music in this one is INCREDIBLE, Megas are super fun to use and revitalized a lot of our classic favorites, this game is a blast. X is too, but I'm writing about Y.
Seriously, I love the theme songs from these two games. My favorites are the Xerneas and Yveltal battle themes, the Gym Leader theme, Diantha's theme, the E4 theme and of course Korina's theme. If you pick up Y, you get Yveltal, Heracross, Skrelp/Dragalge, Charizard Y, and Mewtwo Y as the exclusives.

If you enjoyed the job duties in FF Tactics, FFIII, played 4 Heros of Light, or the first Bravely Default, you'll enjoy this second entry. You don't really need to have played the first to get into the second though. I'm hoping Square gets serious on these and gives us a NX entry that uses this art style and combat. Turn based is so timeless.

Players have been going on daring adventures with Link for more than two decades. An instant classic, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past for the Super NES, introduced gamers to a storyline that has been rejuvenated with The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. With new features and an enhanced look, you'll love embarking on a new journey with Link.Link is setting off on another adventure in Hyrule, but this time he has some new abilities under his belt. Transform into a "drawing" and move along the walls of dungeons, so you can explore locations Link could never reach before and open up new puzzle elements for thrilling gameplay challenges. The amazing visuals and 60 frames per second transform the 2D world and enhance it with elevation and depth for an experience the reinvents the classic. The 3DS also allows more freedom with customized settings — just touch and drag items from the item window and switch them with what are assigned to the X and Y buttons.

Just like the original Link to the Past with all of its eyeball monsters, A Link Between Worlds pits you in the familiar layout of Hyrule. This time, you get to go between what is essentially the Dark World, the regular Hyrule kingdom, AND introduces the 3D textures of binding to walls in 2D. It's all seamless and the controls are just as good as the SNES cart back in the 90's. Graphically, this game is wonderful and the score sounds almost like LttP. Do not pass up this title if you're a Zelda fan!

Want to talk on your GoPhone? Going to need one of these. That is, unless you want auto-pay, in which case you're getting a contract without the contract. They refill your account by calling the number on the back and typing in the pin when asked, pretty quick and self explanatory.
Unfortunately, there's no explanation as to why AT&T charges an arm and a leg for phone services. 10 cents a minute, 20 cents a text. Just FYI.

Men in Black to me is Will Smith's best outing. He and Tommy Lee have great onscreen chemistry as J and K, respectively.
Men in Black is still the best of the trilogy because it started the current (and revitalized the) paranormal sci-fi genre. Amazingly enough, the first looks better than the second for CGI. Men in Black II is a little less than its predecessor (manly because the villains are obnoxious and needless return to familiar faces), but I still like it enough. Laurie Flynn Boyle looks ultra hot in this, and her character isn't as obnoxious as Knocksville's or the creepy trench coat fellow.
Men in Black 3 is just incredible. It is along the same lines of quality writing as the original Men in Black, and it looks simply outstanding, truly showing that Sony cares about the quality of their releases. Time travel, personal struggles, an amazing villain, I recommend the trilogy if you haven't seen Men in Black 3 yet. Boris the Animal is both grotesque and neat at the same time, but if you have issues with arthropod appendages like lobsters and spiders, you might find his character design a little too disturbing.
Highly recommended series.

The AT&T Prepaid card makes it easy to pay for your services. Add the money to your AT&T Prepaid (formerly GoPhone) account.

I’m lookin to drop my contract w/ a well known company but I need a hotspot on my phone. Does att prepaid provide a hotspot?

They do, it’s extra, and NOT unlimited. That’s where they get you, the same way they had limits on texts and pics back in the early 2000s. (AT&T knows they have to make their money somehow and right now it’s on data caps.)

However, older contracts with AT&T are grandfathered in to allow hotspots with their plans, even if they’re unlimited. The two catches are that they’re 1) obviously grandfather claused and therefor not available for new contracts, and 2) if you change your plan it’s expunged. Getting a new phone that requires a different plan can also void the clause.

On AT&T prepaid card plans, do you have to renew monthly, or do you have at least a 3 month or 6 month card plan?

The balance on the account (attached to the phone’s SIM) has to be correct for whatever “plan” you first selected when you bought the phone, and renews every 30 days. There is no rollover data or balances on these accounts. Every 30 days, the plan renews and the balance deducts the monthly plan’s amount. The prepaid cards however, have 90 days from date of purchase to be added to your phone’s balance.

Even though it’s not a contract phone, you still have to start out with a plan, which reflects how much data the phone is allowed to use and therefor how much you have to have in the phone’s balance.
