Having purchased a Belkin router which wouldn't work with my printers and total lack of customer support from Belkin, I bought this router with reservations. However it turned out to be an easy install and everything works great. It handles a UHD TV, Dish Hopper and Joey, 2 PC and 2 Apple laptops, 2 PC desktops and a Mac Mini, plus 3 printers. No issues with it. I highly recommend it to anyone looking at upgrading.

I bought this to gain some speed on my wireless system. I found it did have some issues. I placed it in the same place as my Belkin N router and found the signal was no where near as strong. After playing around I was able to find a location/angle that gave all of the wireless systems got a decent signal. I am able to pull the maximum speed my ISP provides, but it was a lot more work than I expected.

I have been looking for a receiver that would allow me to use my OM/ONE Bluetooth speakers since I don't want to hard wire several rooms in the house. After talking with several Best Buy employees at different stores, Sony Customer Support and trying to find out if this receiver would transmit to Bluetooth speakers, I purchased the receiver. After getting it home, reading the manual and trying it with other Bluetooth speakers, I found out ALL Bluetooth receivers are capable of receiving Bluetooth from phones, tablets, etc, but do not meet the Bluetooth standard of duplex (transmit). While the receiver has wireless capability, it will not work with my Bluetooth speakers. I returned the unit and will wait until some company meets the standard and allow you to hear your music on remote speakers.

Can it use wireless Blu-tooth enabled speakers?
I purchased this receiver to do the exact same thing. NO, it doesn't. I spoke with Best Buy employees and Sony support. They said it would. In practice, it doesn't. And the only person who could verify and explain that all Bluetooth receivers do not transmit to speakers was a customer support tech at Crutchfield.
The reasons I want a Bluetooth receiver that will let you use Bluetooth speakers: Om/ONE Levitating speakers and I have two room in our home I don't want to hard wire at this point.
If you want a receiver to let you use Bluetooth speakers, this is NOT the unit. Nor are there any out there I could find.
