Having purchased a Belkin router which wouldn't work with my printers and total lack of customer support from Belkin, I bought this router with reservations. However it turned out to be an easy install and everything works great. It handles a UHD TV, Dish Hopper and Joey, 2 PC and 2 Apple laptops, 2 PC desktops and a Mac Mini, plus 3 printers. You demand a lot from your Wi-Fi network. With this Belkin router, everyone in the house will be able to watch shows, play games and use tablets, smartphones and Smart TVs at the same time, without lag or slowdown.

I bought this to gain some speed on my wireless system. I found it did have some issues. I placed it in the same place as my Belkin N router and found the signal was no where near as strong. After playing around I was able to find a location/angle that gave all of the wireless systems got a decent signal. I am able to pull the maximum speed my ISP provides, but it was a lot more work than I expected.

I have been looking for a receiver that would allow me to use my OM/ONE Bluetooth speakers since I don't want to hard wire several rooms in the house. After talking with several Best Buy employees at different stores, Sony Customer Support and trying to find out if this receiver would transmit to Bluetooth speakers, I purchased the receiver. After getting it home, reading the manual and trying it with other Bluetooth speakers, I found out ALL Bluetooth receivers are capable of receiving Bluetooth from phones, tablets, etc, but do not meet the Bluetooth standard of duplex (transmit). While the receiver has wireless capability, it will not work with my Bluetooth speakers. I returned the unit and will wait until some company meets the standard and allow you to hear your music on remote speakers.

Does this keep my phone charged if I'm camping?
If you are talking about cell phones, then yes. But you will have to have the ability to plug this in to an AC source after several hours of use. While the cell charger won't draw much power, the inverter (12v battery to 120V AC) does also use power. Best if you power down when not needed to recharge your phone(s).
