Ok, I know that this CD is probably considered 'old' but I just found out about it through a Pandora station I created. This CD is simply awesome! Driving yet smooth beats and the best part is that it has SUBSTANCE and you can hear & UNDERSTAND what he is saying and it is the Gospel Message! I consider myself a pretty 'hap'nin' lady (did I just age myself out because I used the word 'hap'nin'?) and felt that my daughter and teen nieces and nephews would really enjoy the sound because it's not that 'old gospel hymn' sound but is catchy, upbeat and urban. It would even be a good addition to a person who likes R&B like John Legend or Digable Planets (well, that's who it made me think of). There was really only one song I couldn't get into; the rest are all head-bobbers for me. This is my first CD of his and I hope it won't be the last. I strongly recommend!

I heard 24K Magic on the radio and fell for immediately. Thought about the CD but I was afraid of buying off of one song...then I heard "Versace on the Floor" and bought the CD as I was still listening to the final cords of the song. I have been listening to it since I got it and I am NOT disappointed by a single track. I cannot wait to see him in concert. He is a consummate performer and I cannot wait to see the show, knowing that these songs are going to be performed!

So I was expecting something much worse. I had low expectations because I really liked the first one and I heard the second one was not as good. The second one is a little more spastic, but I think it is not bad at all. It just has a different tone to it. It's more nerdy and the storyline is less streamlined. Their is more adult humor in it. I found it to be much more quirky. There were a lot of self-observations in the movie, where characters would break the 4th wall. I felt the acting was good. The cameos were funny. The movie was nicely shot. I do think it would be nice to see a Galaxy 3. The new character was funny.

Fair movie although there is little or no character development for the majority of the characters (just a quick scene showing how they got sent to prison) with the exceptions of Harley Quinn and Deadshot. Because of this you really don't care about the characters and have no idea as to what makes them tick. Once a basic backstory introduces you to the characters the story moves quickly maybe too quickly.

I got this as I have all the Alien movies from the first to the last. I've noted that it seems that most people that liked the first Alien movie liked the second movie less. I, myself, liked the second movie "Aliens" best and sort of thought the ones after that went sort of down hill. I watched this one thru and felt that the movie before left some things undone and I didn't feel this movie picked up on that very well. The movies with Ripley as the main character seem to me to come off better than the one that followed even though you have a number of things that get in the way. What I liked about the earlier movies were the way the heroes have a way of coming out on top even if things fall apart around them. Even the one before this one carried that theme forward in a sort of interesting way. So there was always hope in the future. In this one, there doesn't seem to be that theme left with the viewer. And it isn't the aliens that kill off the people, it's the AIs they created that do! I found this to be the must depressing of all the movie as the hope that is normally there isn't any more. We'll see if there is another movie, how this gets corrected if it is. I liked this movie but so far, "Aliens" is still my favorite.....

What an engaging movie! A somewhat new approach to a SciFi movie about AI's. It was very captivating. In the beginning, it was a bit slow and I was wondering about where this movie was trying to take me. However, I heard from my friends that that were would be a lot of plot twists so I stuck with it. And I'm so glad I did. The main gist of the story is that Caleb, a programmer, wins a contests to spend a week with the CEO of the company his works for, Nathan. Nathan is a recluse and a genius. He built a search engine similar to Google when he was only 17 and 94% of the world uses it. Even from the first meeting between Nathan and Caleb, there is already a hint of the darker tone that the movie will take on. But the exciting part is when Nathan finally reveals why Caleb was there, to be the human aspect of the Turing Test. He will be evaluating Ava, an AI that Nathan created. Alicia Vikander played her role beautifully. Ava's appearance is interesting in its dichotomy of a human face and human like hands versus the rest of her body which is plastic, see through, and gel like. Each interaction Caleb has with Ava is watched by Nathan except during rare instances of power failure. It is during one of these moments that Ava tells Caleb that everything is not as it seems and that Nathan has other motives. As the movie progress, there are plenty of plot twists that we didn't expect while masterfully sustaining a suspenseful and ominous tone at appropriate times. Highly recommend it others to watch.

A good script, a good cast, lead to a great movie! Ben Affleck proves he knows how to make a movie leaving film lovers glued to the screen. Ben plays a criminal mastermind with a crew that works very well together. Jon Hamm plays an FBI agent who swears to bring him down. When the opening scene of Ben and his crew taking a bank down goes wrong, they take a hostage, an employee from the bank. When they release her they learn she talks to the cops and lives in the vicinity where the crew lives. Fearing she will lead the FBI to them, the crew wants to take her out, but Ben says no. He courts her, dines her, tries to get the feel for what her plans are. Jon Hamm diligently does everything his power allows him to find out who this crew is and bring them down. When Ben tries to get out of town before it's too late, his crew threaten him. He must pull off one last heist before being given his freedom.
