Moving to WiFi AC has made a huge jump for me. Being a very robust piece of equipment has help with some problems I was facing in my last unit. Never drops any dnp connection. Running Plex at home so have set up my own media cloud and this handles it great. Basically running a personal server thru it. If none of this means anything to you just know that for simple speed and multiple channels of use within your home pay the extra money & don't worry about anything for a few years.

Does this tv have a sound only mode?
Would I be able to turn the picture off but keep the sound on? Using this as a bedroom TV so would be a nice feature to just have the sound without a picture.
Sound has been an issue with pretty much all flat screen units. You might want to think Bluetooth speaker from another source depending on what you want to listen to & why...

Easy way is get a Google "Chromecast". It is a small device that goes into your open HDMI input like I hope your cable gets inputted from your comcast cable box. Input 1: cable, Input 2: Chromecast. Go to Google's Chromecast page for more. Very very simple & cheap & you will get far more than just youtube.

I will be buying this to use for my kids WII. I just want to make sure that it will work on this TV
Just compare your WII outputs to this TV's inputs for a match. HDMI / VGA / etc.

Can I use this with window xp and window vista?
Has nothing to do with operations system. Think of it as making your TV wireless then just connecting it either to what's on your chrome browser on your PC or chromecast friendly content on your table or phone, like utube, plex etc.
